I think Rudra is pretending to find out who actually did this, because i refuse to believe that he would be so dumb as to believe that paro did this without any solid proof. And i feel like there is a small part of him trying to teach her a lesson, for all the times he kept telling her about tejawat and her husband, and she didn't believe him. i know that that would be petty and manipulative, but i'd rather he was doing that then actually believe she did that.
