The episode starts out in the Agnihotri House. Anjali is arranging gifts and Varad walks in, questioning what the gifts are for. Anjali replies that the gifts are for Jyoti because she is becoming a mother. She also questions Varad on shouldn't the Agnihotri family have a heir, indicating the fact that Varad doesn't have a son. Uncomfortable with the topic, Varad tries to change the conversation. Anjali rebukes Varad for not attending the Holi celebration because of his work. She states that she let him switch from business to media and didn't say anything when he wanted to cover news on the day of Holi. Anjali says that Niranjan was disappointed that Varad wasn't present at the celebration. People work to keep their families happy is a point she expresses while Varad says that wouldn't have gone if the work wasn't important. Infuriated Anjali replies that family is the most important thing. Comparing Niranjan and Varad, she explains that Niranjan gives importance to his family and that Varad should too. She says that from now on he needs to understand his responsibilities and fulfill them. Varad says sorry and Anjali tells him to go talk to Niranjan. While Anjali is rebuking Varad, it is shown that Sojal is listening to their conversation secretly and is happy with Anjali's taunts towards Varad.
Scene 2
Aditi is leaving the house in a hurry and Aastha sees her going out. Confused with why Aditi is in such a rush, Aastha follows Aditi out of the house. She calls Aditi's name several times but Aditi ignores her and quickly sits in a rickshaw. Aastha thinks that Aditi might have gone to the doctor and hopes that Aditi is okay. Aastha starts to make a phone call to Aditi but is stopped by Anajli since Jyoti and Abhay have reached. The two come in and Anjali apologizes for her behavior yesterday. Niranjan walks in and greets Jyoti and Abhay. Abhay says that a glow is illuminating on both of his and Jyoti's faces because they are getting an heir. Niranjan points out that a boy and a girl are the same and they shouldn't be differentiated. He says that when Varad and Shlok were born, he had bought flats for each of them and that he wants to continue this tradition with the next generation. Niranjan hands Abhay the property papers for a bungalow in Lonavla. Anjali gives Jyoti jewelry and clothes. Jyoti says that she will go help Aastha but is stopped by Abhay. He says that she needs rest and feeds her sweets. Varad walks in with Sojal and Jyoti and Varad share a hug. Aastha says she is really happy for Jyoti and that she will pray to God to keep them happy. Jyoti tries to tell Aastha through her facial expressions that she needs to talk to her but stops when she sees Anjali giving Abhay a gold chain. Jyoti asks what is the need for this and Abhay says it is their choice. He says that Jyoti is giving her parents a happiness that their family can't give and points out Varad. Jyoti leaves a note for Aastha but Abhay picks it up unintentionally as it got stuck to a present that he had received.
Scene 3
Aditi hurriedly walks toward a building and opens the lock of the building and opens the lock of the building with a key.
Scene 4
Anjali and Aastha are worried about where Aditi is. Aditi walks into the Agnihotri house and says that she went out for a walk because her head was hurting. Anjali says it is okay and tells her to go take rest. Aastha is confused and Anjali rebukes Aastha for creating a scene. She tells Aastha to go take care of Shlok.
Scene 5
Abhay is sorting through gifts that he received from the Agnihotri family. He finds the letter that Jyoti had written and reads it. Upon reading it, he finds out that Jyoti had lied about having a son. He tortures Jyoti and says that he wants to abort the girl. Buaji says it is too late but Abhay says he doesn't care of Jyoti dies. He orders Buaji to lock Jyoti in the storeroom.
Scene 6
Aastha brings tea for Shlok and questions if Shlok is blushing because of Aastha's presence. Slok says that he doesn't blush and that by doing her cheap tactics, she won't become Swati. Aastha acknowledges this fact but also says that she knows that he has a lot of pain inside of him. She says that she loves him a lot and Shlok says that, that is her problem and receving his love is impossible. Aastha says that even no matter how impossible it is, she is willing to wait for him even if it means waiting for another life. Slok asks Aastha to jump from the railing to prove her love for him. He instigates Aastha to jump by taunting her and Aastha climbs up the railing. She counts to three and jumps...on the other side of the railing, back to where Shlok is standing. Both of them start laughing and Shlok said that she is a drama queen and Scaredy Cat #1. Aastha says she did what he asked her to do and that he lost. Slok calls her mad and says that nothing can be done with her, let alone love. To irritate him, Aastha makes noises with her mouth and calls him khadus.
