I have liked and respected Parth from Day 1. But today his flashback scenes interspersed and the way he completed a seemingly humiliating challenge and emerged even more stronger, have turned my respect into admiration and awe. And I have realized that I want to witness his whole story and journey. It may be long,it may be short, but it should be complete. Parth is a gem of a character. His resilience, sensibility, maturity, humility and disarming honesty make him a class apart. And this is SO rare in a world full of stereotypical characters. And what is even more endearing is that he is not preachy, he practices only what life has taught him. He reminds me of a very famous line of a poet : Mushkilen padi mujhpe itni ki asaan ho gayi ( I had to face so many difficulties, that they became easy). He may seem too good to be true or too idealistic and unreal on surface. But he is very much real. He has learned his lesson the hard way, from the biggest tutor that is life. He is wise beyond his years because his struggles have given him the perspective to see beyond petty issues and comprehend the bigger picture. He is balanced because he has the experience of overlooking the difficulties and distractions and to concentrate on only that is significant and meaningful.
And for these reasons precisely I hope that CVs do justice to the character they have created. I dont know if he is a parallel lead or is opposite Sanyukta. But I know that he is TOO special to be used only as a third wheel to SanDhir love story. His character is way too interesting and compelling on stand alone basis... I dont mind if if there is a triangle involving Randhir-Sanyukta-Parth. I dont mind if SaRth happens, because I can see potential even there, though I dont see any in Parth- Vidushi yet. I would love to see a strong friendship between Randhir -Parth and Parth- Sanyukta. I would love if CVs introduce someone opposite him who compliments him and is everything that he deserves. But what I would mind if he is dispensed as a third wheel after making SanDhir meet. Or if his character and story is left hanging in the air or he just disappears one fine day. Again it has nothing to do with screen space or being a lead, and it doesnt even necessarily have to be a romantic journey, rather the journey of his character,of which romance may or may not be a part.its just about witnessing the culmination of story of a very special character that writers have etched.
