Is Shlok unmasking himself in front of Astha and has she started recognizing the real Shlok who is her husband?
The episode starts today with the continuation of burning of Shlok's past. A great significance of fire in this family which believes in Yagna and fire. The fire has always been the witness to the life of Ashlok.
The first time Shlok met Astha in his home was also after a Yagna (fire ritual) by his dad. Then Shlok got married to Astha in the temple in front of the fire. The actual marriage was completed with fire as the witness as per hindu tradition. Again Shlok accepted his hatred in front of the fire in the temple and gave anjali of his love in the fire by masking it to make Ashlok survive. He did let his hatred burn to ashes too , but masked it from Astha.
Then Shlok burnt his past with Swati in the fire today and Astha made a pledge in front of the same fire , that she will get the old Slok back. Looked like both Astha and Shlok made a pledge for their future life in front of the fire today by burning Shlok's past and hatred. Is this the beginning of real marriage for these two?
It was a big win for Ashlok today as Astha has recognized that All the hatred and anger that Shlok shows is his mask and behind that mask is a very soft individual who really loves and cares for her. So Shlok did unmask himself in front of Astha today and the fire was the witness to it . The temple fire was witness to his mask of hatred and today it was witness to his unmasking and true self. Astha will now recognize her real husband, whom Shlok always wanted her to recognize behind his mask.
Shlok had asked Astha as she was leaving after the temple confession when he spoke about his hatred , that she said she knows her husband very well, but then does she really recognize him ? Today Astha has unmasked the real Shlok and recognized him. I was reminded of the mask Shlok wore for Kavya's birthday and when he unmasked himself , I called it as if it was the vishwaroop darshan of lord Vishnu. That is what Astha saw today in front of the fire when Shlok made her burn the diary. Astha has seen the real Shlok today with his big heart.
Astha will make Shlok reveal the story of Swati by becoming like Swati as she said today.
Shlok was not shouting at Astha although he was irritated by her with her forcing him to eat . A normal behavior of husband and wife.
When Shlok made Astha sit on his lap and they fed the dessert to each other, they looked like " Lakshmi Narasimha " where Lakshmi sits on the lap of Narsimha but basically resides in his heart and lookes very petite in front lord Narsimha who is lord Vishnu.
Especially with Holi being so close I could think of Narsimha and Hiranyakashapu, who is then NA. So Shlok will kill or expose the demon NA at some point. Will he start suspecting NA at Holi?
The putting of dessert into each other's mouth is a custom in mahararastrian marriages when the bride and groom sit for lunch together for the first time after marriage, so that they share everything and their married life is full of sweetness. That ritual was not performed when Ashlok got married and it appeared today that may be indirectly because of Aditi, these two performed that ritual today. Symbolically it is telling us that this will be there future life, full of sweetness, although there may be some more hurdles to be crossed.
Shlok did lick the finger that he had used to put the rosogollas into Astha's mouth as he wants to share and taste the same sweetness with her and his emotions showed he enjoyed it. He actually put three rosogollas indicating that he will give her three times more love. It was EBP of the same scene as after Shlok and Astha 's marriage after was fixed after the event and Avadhoot agreed to it.
Anjali will not cause any more problems for Ashlok as Astha has won her trust that she will take care of Shlok and always be by his side.
Aditi's dialogues were all too twisted today that I felt that she overpowered Shlok in his twisted dialogues and made him realize what he is doing. Looks like she lended Swati's earrings to Astha , but also said indirectly that she is not giving her rights over Shlok ? What are her rights over Shlok? Just as a friend and well wisher or something else?
Shlok was shown playing a videogame which ended in wreckage. Aditi later warned him that for him everything is a game and he does not give importance to any relationship. Was she hinting to him that he played a game with Swati that ended in breaking their relationship.? Was the game actually played by NA and Shlok was made scape goat and so the reason why Swati called him selfish and Aditi reminded him again of his being selfish?
As Astha has started recognizing her real husband , I am hoping that she will trust Shlok and not think about Aditi - Shlok relationship even though Aditi might try to come close to Shlok. Astha is very unselfish but she is very possessive of Shlok, which is natural, so I do not think she will let Aditi get the upper hand. I again felt that Aditi will be the ground which will make these two understand their relationship and meaning of marriage. Will Astha start finding who Aditi is ?

Updating with what I wrote in reply to Lachii,
Sonia , i actaully missed 4 instances . The one when Shlok burnt Astha's note after she sent back the saree to him which was for the DIl, the one he gave to her in Kolhapur.
The next was jungle and I was going to write it but forgot while writing , since that was the first time after their marriage that Shlok was attracted to Astha and she had noticed it and she had gained her trust in him, since she slept in his arms peacefully.
Then offcourse the fire in the evening when they both separated ,it was like the fire was witness to their sadness as both really did not want the separation to happen, but Abhay caused it .
Then the fire in the office, when Astha wanted to know why Shlok did not want the divorce and why he did he marry ger if he never loved her in the first place. The fire was a witness to make Shlok soften and he was going to admit the reasin when the guys came , however it gave a reasin for Astha to come back to Agni house to figure out the reason why Shlok still wanted her to be his wife if he was full of so much hatred.
Yes so for Shlok the Agni and the Surya devata are his istha devata and are witness to his whole life and his actions.
