One of the most ironoical moments in the show, when Shlok keeps on and on about how Asthu dear is "pretending" to care for him and she should stop, and how her level of acting ..dhong is so good that she can give classes to dhongi babas...at the same time Astha's wrist injury reminds both of them of its presence...and Shlok stops mid sentence and leaves her hands with a twinge of guit.
Guilt for what? just for hurting her hand? No..its he who is the dhongi..its he who is the master actor between them, its he who is pretending...to not care. And the pretense is broken when he by mistake hurts her wrists again when he holds her hands..his care and his guilt come through!
He is the dhongi baba who has been pretending his best and showing his uncaring attitude to her.
He loved it, loved it that she brought food for him. Its he who wants to get close to her. Its not Swati or her memories..the person he wants to be close to, to give and take caring from is Astha and Astha only.But he will no or cannot admit it.
So he goes and puts the plate on the stand and it falls..and Miss Wrong time enters.
Thank god Astha takes the rasgulla from her and does now allow for Aditi to come near Shlok.
She also candy coats her sarcasm that whenever Aditi comes to the room something wrong happens!!
Nice rasgulla scene...Astha and Shlok trying to out do each other...Shlok feeds her three when she feeds him one. Does that mean he will give her thrice the love, caring and support she is giving him? Once his clouds are cleared?Good thing is Astha is shutting out Aditi from the truth of their marraige. Shlok will help her. Aditi does not mean a thing to him, otherwise he would not have pulled Astha close to him and fed her. AStha is thinking she is sending a msg to Aditi in this way..but its Shlok who is sending msg to Astha, in reality that Aditi does not matter to him!
That seating husband and wife position has been described in indian mythology...Shiva and parvati , and many other royal couples sport the position...The Ishtpatni...or dharmapatni is given respect by making her sit on the thigh of the husband..some south indian marriages also have this custom.
The whole Astha sitting on shlok's thigh and they feed each other sweets..it looked like a royal wedding ritual. And very awesome and cute. Funny how Shrenu barely comes to Avinash;s height even though she is sitting on his thigh..usually in that position wife seems taller.đ
And shlok seems to enjoy himself happily..uska din bangaya hain. He again notices her pain and calls the servant ...
What is making shlok feel guilty , is that in the process of shutting out his past, burning it and moving on he has hurt Astha. Swati has gone and her pain has gone..but Astha 's wound has remained.
Aditi mystery continues..as usual I will request to not complicate it and end Aditi loops quickly.
Its very annoying to see Aditi behave as if she had all the rights on Shlok. Would like to know what was going on in shlok's mind when he went to call Aditi outside.
Last but not the least..Astha's self talk regarding wanting to become Swati to help Shlok move on..she again speaks loudly..not within herself. Who is listening?
And the fire...will she burn herself in trying to make his life better...
I have mixed feelings today when Astha forgave him so quickly for his bad temper and brought him food...she is right and she is wrong..depends on how you look at it. But she won bonus points from Anjali . Hope she supports Astha when time comes.
Entertaining episode, very good job by actors and director. But Aditi is like chewing gum...her natak needs a closure.
