J uhi Parmar is happy anchoring Antakshari - The Great Challenge (Star One). Says she, "It's great fun and I'm having a blast. Annuji (Kapoor) is a terrific co-host. We did not hit it off instantly. In fact, it took us some time to get comfortable with each other on stage. Now we now get along like a house on fire." Parmar is often seen going out of her way to make nerv- ous partici- pants com- fortable; "It's not easy being on nation- al tele- vision, so I try to ease their tension. My jadoo ki jhap- pi has become quite a rage with the participant's and audiences alike." About Kumkum, in which she plays the lead, she says, "After playing this character for years, I almost think I'm her. I recently met a Pakistani female fan. It seems she offers duas for me each time Kumkum is in trouble." And what about playing a negative role? " No way! After being loved so much, why would anyone want to be hated," she retorts. And films? "I cannot fit into a scheme of things. Give me a role in which I have to act with my clothes on and I'm game," signs off Parmar.
