In Saturday's episode Anjali tells Sojal that Kavya cannot participate in the school sports event. There were many hazy framed pictures in the background, but the three leaf clover or shamrock caught my eye. (the framed picture to the extreme right)

St.Patrick used Shamrock to illustrate the Holy Trinity of Christianity, each of its three leaves stands for The Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost. Leaving aside the spiritual meaning, if we apply it in the context of the show, does it mean that only the father and son have an identity and all the women in that house are mere ghosts?

Irish used it as a symbol of rebellion against the English. It represents their strong desire for independence.

Shamrock also symbolizes Earth, Sky and Sea.
OR Faith, Love and Hope.
I have no idea how to apply it here. My brain has stopped HASing... almost😛

Please share your views on this shot😊

----edit----

Some more interesting but most probably unrelated information on clover😃:

Clover has medicinal uses too. Its proven to protect against lymphatic/breast/ovarian cancer. It has anti-inflammatory, detoxifying and nerve relaxing properties as well😛.

Rekha..good catch on the Shot.

Shamrock also symbolizes Earth, Sky and Sea.

Like you said here..Anjali does have the strong desire to be independent so eventhough she is curbing Kavya here ..may be she wants Kavya to be independent? 😕
And it is also for Kavya.. she is the future and her wings are being cut at this early age 😭.
if not for stupid Sojal , she would have gone to that competition and wants to be independent ...she even complains to her dad but he doesnt help.
And same for Jyothi, Astha as well. But all these women have to try hard for their own rights!
Sojal, Jyothi, Astha, Anjali.

true jia. all these women have to stand up for themselves. they don't have an identity of their own in that house. they have to do everything according to the likes of the men. they are not living but merely existing. they are kept oppressed under the weight of reeti rivaaz (traditions). they need to rebel against this oppression and become independent.

sojal accepted anjali's reason for not allowing kavya to play sports, because its more important in the society to get a girl married than encourage her all round development. reeti rivaaz(tradition) here too.

jyothi is forced to abort her unborn baby girls because traditionally boys carry the family name and get the special treatment.

we know very well about anjali's penchant for reeti rivaaz. aastha endures anjali's bullying because she is currently playing a traditional bahu.

time to break the traditions.
