Okay, so this is my first story, i dunno if i will do more parts or not, depends on how much i write on this part. And oh, my punjabi and hindi (well most punjabi) is not so flattering, so excuse me and bare with me thnx :P

PART1

So Gunjan and Ranvis wedding is already done, and everyone has got to know the truth behind the whole "van-ranvigunjan drama" thingy. Its been a few days, and everyone is trying to be normal again and make things workout, yeah well everyone except Gunjan (damn i hate her lol).

Jaggi: Oh paaji, main kya aap kissko itni der se dhoond rahe ho hai? he laughed while giving a high five to their other friend (dont know his name).

Baldev: Oye chup kar, pore pind nu dassna hai ki?

Baldev had finally realized that he actually liked Veera, and those feelings he got around her were not just because he "knew" she liked him back, or more likely, Jaggi had made Baldev spit out the truth.

Baldev: Oh time to bohot hogaya hai, abhi tak ayi kyu nahi? E kuri bari sir dard hai...

Jaggi: Praaji, tussi abi say aadat dal lo, phir to zindagi bhar aap ka sar hi dhuka na hai ussne.

Friend nr2: O praji, tussi ode kaar hi chale jao hai?

Baldev: Oye ay ki ke raya hai tu? Main kaise chala jawa othe? Sare ghar walaya nu shak ho jawe ga

Jaggi: Nahi paaji, hun te Gunjan wi othe hi hai, tussi ussko milne ke bahane hi chale jao

Baldev: Aho, waise ae gal sayi hai, main Veera de ghar hi chala jana wa

Baldev heads to her house, thinking of ways to impress her, so she finally tells him that she likes him, because he will never go and tell her it first, because what will happen to his "izzat"?

When he enters the door he sees his dad sitting there with Ratan and Chai ji.

Balwant: Oye Baldev? Tu athe?

Baldev: Kyu papaji, main apni choti behen nu nahi milan asakta?

On hearing that, Balwant gets shocked but still happy, to know that Baldev actually cares about his little sister and is ready to forgive her.

Baldev looks around the house to find Veera, but she is nowhere to be found.

Chaiji notices this and says: Baldev puttar, Gunjan na upar apne kamre main hai, tu ja mil aa

Baldev has no choice so he goes upstairs, while passing through the hallway he hears Veera and Ranvi talk. The door is open so he peeks through and hears their conversation:

Ranvi: Veera, tujhe pata hai na, ke tere upar koi zabardasti nahi hai. Tujhe agar nahi pasand aya to tu na karsakti hai.

Veera: oho Veerji, she hugs Ranvi. Mainu pata hai aap bhi na... ap ro kyu rahe ho? She looks at him and get teary as well

Ranvi: Waqt itni jaldi guzar gaya ke pata hi nahi chala tu kab enni wadi ho gayi Veerakri. Chal chor yeh sab, or jab main bulao to tu neeche ajayo

Veera: Thik hai veerji

Ranvi turns around and Baldev quick as he can turns away and pretends to go to Gunjan.

Ranvi: Oye Baldev tu? Sasriakal Gunjan nu milna hai ki?

Baldev: Ha sasriakal Ranvi... He says coldly, ha main udhar hi jaraha tha

Ranvi: Acha changa, milta ho phir, main zara neeche jaraha ho

Baldev: Acha he says while looking away

Gunjan: Veerji? Gunjan says and runs to Baldev and hugs him. Tussi kaise ho? Mujhse milne aye ho ki? She gets really happy.

Baldev: Nayi main kyu... he stops and thinks again. Ha, wo main papaji nal aya si... tu anni khush na ho, o sabne kaha ke Gunjan nu mi lle zid kar re the isliye agaya. Ab chalta ho, he said while looking here and there, but not at Gunjan.

He was still very much angry at her, for not only one reason but two. One that she hurt Veera and the other, that she spoilt their family name.

He then starts to leave and Gunjan goes back to her room again. He didnt get the time to analyze what he just heard. Veera could say yes or no? wait... did Ranvi talk about her marriage. He became cold, and then angry. Who can it be he thought, who is coming with the proposal, and then he thought again, oh wait papaji is here, what if its for me? He thought to himself and started smiling. He decided to go downstairs as Veera had closed the door and he didnt want to bother her. She would be his soon anyways.. so why not wait a little?

Baldev goes downstairs.

Balwant: Oye Baldev, tu athe aa, mere naal beth.

Baldev: Ji papaji.

He sits next to him, feeling really happy. He feels a little too happy, that his and Veeras families do also want them to become one.

Ranvi: Sasriakal, ajao tussi andar.

Baldev looks up and sees a middle aged couple, and a boy in his age.

Baldev: Ae ki atthe kar rahe ne? He says quitly.

Balwant: Baldev, khara ho, or sasriakal ke, e wi mennu dasna hon parega? He says a little irritated as usual.

Baldev doesnt understand whats thats going on. But he does what his father tells him.

Ratan: Ji aap bethe, she points at the sofas where everyone else is sitting. Ye hai meri chaiji, ye humari pind ke sarpanch, or humare samdhi Balwant paaji, or yeh Baldev, inka beta.

Baldev just smiles a little coldly. What the heck is going on he thinks.

The Lady: To yeh hai mere pati, she points at a man, or yeh hai mera beta, Arjun.

Arjun: Sasriakal ji, he says a little shyly.

Balwant: O munda te wadda sharmila lagda hai, he laughs to make things a little exciting.

Chaiji: Acha hai, saddi veera te sharmili bilkul nahi ae, waddia jodi howe gi ena di.

When Baldev hears this, he understands... the proposal Ranvi was talking about was not about him, it was about this guy Arjun. And wait Veera? How could she even agree on this? He becomes furious and walks away.

Balwant: Oye Baldev puttar, tu khithe jaraha hai.

Baldev: Khuch nahi papaji, ik zarori kam yaad agaya he says as he storms out.

...

Veera is in her room, looking at herself.

Veera: Pata nahi kyu, mujhe ajeeb lagra hai. Veerji kitne khush the, agar uss din main veerji or beeji ki batein na sunti, to main kabhi bhi na haa karti, or aise mere veerji ka dil toot jata.

Flashback:

It had been 3 days since Ranvi and Gunjan had got married.

Ranvi: Beeji, ek family ka rishta aya hai Veera ke liye. Larka Amreeka me parha likha hai, abhi 3 mahine hi pehle aya hai. Achi job bi hai, or idhar paas ke hi gaon ka hai. Uski or Veera ki jodi achi rahe gi mujhe lagta hai ek baar Veera se bat karleni chahiye kya kehti hai aap?

Ratan: Ha Ranvi, bilkul, waise bhi, ab Veera ne to England jane ka mana kardiya hai, or ab kare gi bhi kya? Lekin ek baar Veera se zaror phuchna ke wo shaadi ke liye tayyar bi hai ya nahi.

This made Ranvi happy, that his beeji actually cared about Veera.

Ranvi: Haa beeji, kyu nahi. Lekin beeji, main to soch kar hi itna khush ho raha ho, agar Veera ne ha kardi na, usski zindagi ban jani hai, or wo bohot khuch rahe gi. Maine uss family ke bare phucha hai, wo bohot hi ache hai. Bas veera ha karde na, sab kuch acha ho jaye ga. Main apni Veera ki shaadi dhoom dham se kara ga Beeji.

Veera was standing at the stairs when she heard all this. She witnessed how happy her Veerji was. She couldnt do anything but decide to say Yes to this risha. Because, if her veerji is happy, so is she. And anyways she had no one in her mind, Karan was a jerk and broke her heart. Now it was better to just get married to someone her Veerji wanted her to be married to. But why was she feeling sad about it? Its not like she didnt want to get married, it was just she didnt want to get married to that guy, whom she never even had seen.

Part 3:

Ranvi: Veera, to niche aaa

Veera: Ayiii Veerji. She looked at herself, khuch nahi hota Veera, agar khush nahi hai to, khush hone ki acting to karsakti hai na.

Veera goes downstairs and mingles with everyone. Arjuns mom and dad talk and discuss the matter. They soon come to an end that they like Veera, and Ranvi says that he likes Arjun aswell. Now they want to know what Veera and Arjun wants.

Arjun: Ji, he says shyly, meri taraf se to... ha hi hai she giggles like a little kid.

Veera rolls her eyes at his "sharmila kind of attitude" and fakes a smile and says: Ji, meri taraf se bi ha hai and looks down as her chaiji instruct her to do with her eyes.

Arjuns mom: To Roka kab kare? Aisi kam mein deri ho kyu?

Ranvi: Ji sahi kaha aapne, agle hafte ka kya kehte hai aap?

Arjuns mom: Sahi rahe ga, chaliye phir baat hoti hai. Sasriakal

Arjuns family leaves. Veera gets a little sad not knowing why, but decides to not show it so she just goes up to her room.

Balwant: Lagda hai sharma gayi apni veera, he laughs. Chalo ji mubaraka hoe taunu, he hugs Ranvi.

Veera goes to her room and locks the door. She throws her dupatta on the bed and takes out her laptop.

Veera: Amrit yaar, please be online, please, yesss

Amrit: Hi veera, whats up?

Veera: Khuch up nahi hai yaar, sab down down hai.

Amrit: Kya hua?

Veera: Veerji or ghar walo ne meri shaadi pakki kardi!

Amrit: WHAAAT? or tu khush nahi hai? Yaar tujhe to shaadi ka kitna craze tha na?

Veera: I know yar, but Arjun mere type ka nahi hai

Amrit: Arjun nam hai? Woow, she teases her

Veera: Stop it Amrit, pata hai tujhe, itna sharmata hai, larkiyo se bhi zyada, pore time neehce hi dekhta raha, sooo boring.

Amrit: Lekin Veera, tune hi to kaha tha, ke ab jab Karan bi teri zindagi se chala gaya or tu London bi nahi jarahi, to tu shaadi karna chahti hai, chahe jo marzi ho?

This made Veera rethink. It was true, she wanted to get married to anyone, just so she could forget Karan completly and get settled down. But why wasnt she happy?

Veera: Ohoo Amrit, khair chor, shaid waise hi abhi weird lag raha ho. Anyways next week mera roka hai and you have to come okay?

Amrit; Ofcourse yar, ye koi pochne wali baat hai?

Veera: Great, bas tu hi aana ha? Kissi or ko na le ana, i really dont wanna see other people right now. They all remind me of that stupid Karan, bas ek tu hi meri best friend hai. Isliye ke rahi ho

Amrit: Dont worry dude, i wont tell anyone

Part 4:

Baldev was sitting alone, when he heard his friends.

He was so angry and sad at the same time, so he really didnt need anyone right now.

Jaggi: Praji, ki hoya? Veera nazar nai ayi ki? He grabbed Baldevs shoulder.

Baldev didnt look back and just coldly said: Oye, jao tussi, abi mennu akele rehna hai

Jaggi: Lekin hoya ki?

Baldev: Main keya na jao tussi, his was now shouting.

Friend 2; Oyy yar hoya kii khuch te dass

Baldev got up, and was about to hit his friends when Jaggi stopped him.

Jaggi: Praaji tussi thik te ho?

Baldev: Nahi, main nahi thik, or kuch? He shouted. And then he sat down again. He punched the tree beside him.

His both friends sat next to him when Baldev started:

Veera bi na, agar mennu pasand karti hai, to wo kissi or nal shaadi kese karsakti hai?

His both friends looked at him.

Jaggi: Kii? Ae ki ke rahe ho tussi paaji? Veera kissi or nal shaadi kar rahi hai? Lekin...

Baldev: To main jhoot bolraha ki? Uffo, tade nal gal karna hi bekar hai. He stood up and went away angrily. He went to his house and was about to go upstairs when he heard his dad.

Balwant: Bansuri ji, kitthe ho tussi?

Bansuri: Kii hoya sarpanch ji?

Balwant: Oye Veera or o Arjun da rishta pakka hogaya

Bansuri: Sacchi? Chalo changa hi hai, Ratan te kando booj halka hoya

Balwant: O bansuri ji, tussi kadi te changi gal karlaya karo. Khair, agle hafte roka e. Baldev, tu athe? Kar aya kaam jo karna si?

Baldev: Ji papaji, he said while trying to hide his anger which was gong way out of his control now. Something made him ask his dad:

Papaji, Veera di shaadi, sab kuch anni jaldi? Veera nu ani jaldi si shaadi karaan di? he said while he was boiling whith anger.

Balwant: Are tennu ki masla ey'Khud te karwani nahi chanda, dosrea nu te karande.

Baldev didnt say anything and went upstairs to his room. He just didnt want to think much, so he just forced himself to sleep

PART 5:

The time was around 10 pm, when Baldev woke up.

Baldev: E neend bhi na, abhi khatam honi thi, hun main poori rat o bhootni de bare socha ga, rab ji ae ki kar raeyo tussi? He said while looking up with sad eyes. Ki karaan? He said to himself while getting up from bed. Mennu Veera de naal gal karni hi howe gi... lekin, main kaise ode nal gal karsakna wa? Pata nai e ki naya siyappa pa ditta hai rab ji ne he said while going downstairs.

He was outside thinking what could have caused Veera to agree to this proposal. Was it that she wanted to marry a rich educated guy and she only played with him? Or did she even like him? What if Jaggi was wrong? What if she did all this because of Ranvi, to make him happy?

...

Veera: Ohoo, neend kyu nahi arahi mujhe? Aaj pura din aise hi guzar gaya... aise lagta hai jaise koi cheez miss ho rahi ho.. Kya hosakta hai? Aaj Amrit se bi baat hogayi, veerji bi khush, sare gharwale khush, or aaj Baldev ko bi maine bohot tang... ohhh yea Baldev! Aaj to maine usse dekha hi nahi, no wonder why kuch missing lag raha tha. She laughed. But wait, main kyu itna baldev ko importance de rahi ho? uuft, neend nahi arahi, i think thori fresh air ki zarorat hai. She went outside

As she was wandering the streets of pritampura she reached (i dunno what its called, but that place where ranvi used to sit and sing). She saw someone sit there, a young man.

Veera: Mujhe lagta hai veerji ho ge, Gunjan didi bi na, phir veerji ko kuch keh diya hoga jisse unka dil toot gaya ho ga. Yeh Gunjan didi ki to.. she said angrily and climbed the stairs to sit down next to who she thought were her veerji.

Veera: Veerji? She said while putting her hand on his shoulder...

Baldev???!

Baldev just looked at her with empty eyes, he was looking through her, because he was afraid of something, something he might see in her eyes and become more sad.

Veera: Oye Baldev? Mainu laga veerji the

Baldev: Jab bi dekho veerji veerji laga rakti hai, koi or nazar nahi ata tennu? He said with his angry voice.

Veera: Ki? Tennu ki hogaya?

Baldev: To main khuch ghalat ke raya wa? Jab bi dekho tab Veerji yeh veerji woh, kabhi koi or nazar ata hai?

Veera: Kya ke raha he tu samaj nahi arahi mennu, she said while getting a little scared, because he was angry. Not that kind of angry she had seen him when she put ink on his shirt. This was something else...

Baldev: Oye kuch nahi, he said realizing what he was about to do. Waise tu ki kar rahi hai etthe? Enni raat nu, akeli kuch ho jata to?

Veera: Mennu kuch nahi hoga, awei karta hai. Acha sun... meri na shaadi pakki hogayi

Baldev: Te me ki kara? He said quickly trying to avoid this topic.

Veera: Mubarak de, or ki? She laughed

Baldev: Nahi do ga, he said while turning his head away from her.

This made him even more sad, so it was true, it all had no impact on her... she was happy, so it meant, she didnt like him that way. She only thought of him as a frenemy, nothing else. This thought made his head spin round thousand times. He wanted to chout out loud, he wanted to cry, to hold her and tell her that he loved her and that she was only his, he wanted to do so much but all he could say was:

To ghar ja, ek mint, main chad deta ho tennu, itni raat ko akele jay gi.

Veera: Main chali jawa gi baldeva, tu dass tu enna udaas kyu hai?
