I'm posting my thoughts on today's episode here. My view may not always be pleasant and I don't want to spoil anyone's mood. But at the same time I value my freedom very much. So I decided to post a warning sign, for people who stumble upon this post, so that they know what to expect.
I'll post one of these symbols on top of my view on the episode everyday. So that people with delicate constitutions can avoid strong ones and read only pleasant ones

Danger Caution Pleasant

Aditi is sad that she tried to take away Aastha's rights as bahu😲 when she thought of lighting the lamp near Tulsi. She is not even interested in eating pakoda with mayo! Hmmm.šŸ¤” Aastha tells her to stop over-analyzing as she thinks that gestures like lighting a lamp or cooking the food don't reinforce or destabilize her position in the house. Aastha is not at all insecure about her relationship, inspite of Shlok's behavior with her. Love it. I don't think Aastha should be jealous because of Aditi's overtures towards Shlok. She is better than that.

Aastha is talking to herself while making a sorry sign with colors and lamps to apologize for touching Shlok's clothes and making him angry. Such a romantic gesture, straight out of some 90's hindi movie! This is not a humanitarian gesture! Why is she doing this?! She pretends to sleep when Shlok reaches their bedroom. I'm sure he knows that she is awake. He gets a water jug and simply splashes water all over her silly romantic notions. One thing I observed during her monologue, both of their toiletries are spread all over the dressing table while Aastha was vowing never to venture into his space again. Tch Tch.

As Shlok and Aastha give in to a restless sleep, the shadow girl dresses up as a bride, crosses their bedroom as part of her regular night stroll.

Next morning, Aditi is busy playing ideal Agnihotri bahu, arranging the table , setting the curtains right etc. Aastha mock-blasts her for taking over her rights as Agnihotri bahu. Aditi says "saali adhi gharwali"- she is really serious about sharing Shlok!šŸ˜• She asks Aastha to bring her a hammer from the storeroom because she needs to "bait the hook".

What does Aastha find in the storeroom?! Shlok's guitar! Aditi goes to check on Aastha and finds her holding the guitar! She gets excited seeing the guitar and snatches it from Aastha's hands and starts to tune it. Aastha is apprehensive of Shlok's reaction, so she tells Aditi to leave it. Aditi caresses the letter 'S' engraved on the guitar and says that Shlok must love this as it has his intial on it. Aastha thinks that it is not Shlok but Swathi in that "S". Come to think of it, Shlok learnt music for Swathi's sake and not because he likes it. She tells Aastha to give the guitar to Shlok . She can't resist the urge to play the guitar once before giving it to her. And what does she play?! She plays the music that Shlok stored in his diary, his love song for Swathi!😲 She is so lost in it while playing the tune. I guess sometimes her caged feelings come out though she does a good job of covering them up most of the time. She is hiding her feelings for Shlok just like Aastha, the difference is Aastha is in love and Aditi is obsessed.

Aastha takes the guitar to their bedroom and thinks of hiding it before Shlok comes back from his morning jog. But before she could do that, little Kavya strums the guitar and alerts Shlok, who just came home. He takes the guitar from Aastha's hands and smashes it. He asks her why she brought that guitar into the room when he never told her that he likes guitar. So Aastha was right in thinking that its Swathi and not Shlok, who actually likes guitar. She should start trusting her own understanding of Shlok more than others'. Shlok reiterates to Aastha that he hates her more every time she tries to dig his past. Then why is Aastha staying with him in his house, in his room? It is clear from her earlier monologue that she hopelessly loves him, inspite of everything she suffered at his hands, and she cannot bear to see him hurting, especially so when she thinks she caused it.šŸ˜•

Shlok rushes out of the room and breaks a vase to let out his frustration. He wonders how Aastha knows things about his past though he didn't tell her anything. He remembers that only other person to know about the guitar is Anjali. He goes to Anjali to question her about that while Aastha is making tea for her in the kitchen. Aditi asks Aastha if Shlok was happy seeing the guitar. Aastha almost gave away whatever happened between her and Shlok when she distractedly put salt instead of sugar in tea. But she manages to cover up saying she is missing her mom so much. In another room, Shlok is shouting at Mrs.Agnihotri for revealing his past to Aastha. He wonders why women cannot keep their mouths shut. Anjali denies telling anything to Aastha about his past. But he is not ready to believe her. He accuses her of lying and tells her that he doesn't trust her at all, to which Anjali retorts that he doesn't even trust himself, so it's useless to argue with him. Anjali says that Aastha might have found the guitar by herself as she is his wife and she wants to know his likes and dislikes. She says that she doesn't understand why he has a problem with Aastha knowing about him. He gives her a parting shot saying who knows better than her about why he has a problem with relationships. Aastha happens to listen to their argument and they are not happy about it. Shlok dashes off and Aastha gingerly approaches Anjali and places the tea cup on the table. Anjali smashes the cup, just like Shlok smashed the vase, and tells Aastha to stop digging Shlok's past because it will only cause her more pain. Wonder why mother and son are guarding the past so much. Are they both going to cause a greater damage by being so unyielding and brash?! šŸ˜”

Overall a very good episode for me. It held my attention all through and I didn't get bored. Focus was on resolving the issues of Shlok, Anjali and Aastha. Loved it.

thanks arsenalgirl😊.
i also love the intrigue in the current track. hope they don't get carried away and concentrate on the main characters and story. loved today's episode in the sense that they didn't overdo aditi and whatever she did only resulted in shlok, anjali, aastha dealing with their issues.

yeah. they shouldn't stretch it with overt pativrata stuff. if not romance, they should show love and pain instead. that way the intensity doesn't get diluted.

i think shlok hates such gestures because he was just like aastha when he was in love with swathi, going out of his way to please swathi. aastha is doing the same and probably he doesn't expect that from her.
