I'm posting my thoughts on today's episode here. My view may not always be pleasant and I don't want to spoil anyone's mood. But at the same time I value my freedom very much. So I decided to post a warning sign, for people who stumble upon this post, so that they know what to expect.
The dynamics of these two relationships attracted my attention in today's episode.

The dynamics of these two relationships attracted my attention in today's episode.
Shlok-Aastha :
The broken bangles remind Shlok of Swathi. He makes a tight fist around them and starts squeezing as if he is out of his body and doesn't feel the pain from the broken pieces pricking his palm. He comes back into the world again with Aastha's call. Once he is back to his senses, though still mad, he questions Aastha whose bangles they are. Aastha tells him that they are her bangles but she didn't realize that she broke a few while arranging his clothes in the cupboard. He questions her more clearly this time; he asks her who gave them to her. She tells him that Aditi gave them to her and she apologizes for ever touching his cupboard. Shlok had a realization on his face and then he was angry at Aastha this time, though he did not say it. Probably because she trusted Aditi and let her into their personal space. He picks the darkest possible shirt(earlier he picked the blue one) and walks off.
Aastha finds Aditi sitting sadly in her room. She apologizes to Aastha for causing Shlok's outburst. So she was spying on them. Nobody else in the house asked Aastha about this. Aditi holds Aastha's hand and says that she wishes them to be happy always. Aastha puts a hand on top of hers and assures her that there is a lot of love between them. Whatever Aditi does, Aastha will have an upperhand. Later Aditi tries to light the lamp near tulsi but Anjali stops her and tells her that only women of the house light the lamp. Aastha lights the lamp.
Shlok sits on a parapet lighted by a row of lamps, facing a busy road . But he is lonely and in the dark with the memories of Swathi hurting him. He says he doesn't regret the fact that because of her, he is surrounded by darkness all the time. He is used to darkness now and he learnt the biggest lesson of his life that its in a woman's nature to keep men in the dark. He regrets only one thing, that he ever loved her with all his heart. Loaded monologue again. Avinash take a bow. His performance was just right... the pain in his countenance, voice and that tear that trickled down at the right moment...everything was perfect.
Anjali-Jyothi :
Jyothi fears that the daily abuse she had to suffer at Abhay's hands for no reason will harm her baby. She wants to see the doctor soon. She decides to call Aastha hoping that she would help her. But Anjali picks the call. Jyothi doesn't trust her mother anymore to help her. She cuts the call. But God helps her in the form of Sulbha's joint pain. Jyothi gets to go to the market and see the doctor.
Anjali is a prisoner of the Agnihotri rules and regulations. She cannot even relax them for little Kavya. She doesn't allow Kavya to display her prize alongside the achievements of men in the house. I don't know if she will be able to do anything for Jyothi. Or is she doing something secretly? In yesterday's episode, Jyothi says that because of Aastha alone, she is able to know whether she is pregnant or not. The scene switches to Anjali. Is Anjali behind the gift that helped Jyothi? The name Anjali means gift.
Jyothi gets the confirmation from the doctor and wants to get out of the house before her husband and Mother in law find out about her pregnancy. She decides to call her mother one last time for help. Anjali feels her daughter's pain but she is helpless... I don't understand why! What would Niranjan do if Anjali says that she doesn't want to send Jyothi back to her inlaws house? Why doesn't Jyothi call Shlok/Aastha's cell phone instead? Jyothi begs her to listen to her pleas or if she wants to get rid of her, she should give her poison instead of letting her suffer. Anjali tells Jyothi that they got rid of her long back when they married her off and if she wants to come to Agnihotri house, it has to be with her husband's permission. This reminded me of Shlok's dialogue to Anjali when he stopped Jyothi from going back to her inlaws place long back - A family's responsibility doesn't end with marrying off the daughter into hell but they have to ensure her well-being too.

Enjoyed the episode thoroughly, inspite of Abhay and Sulbha. May be I learnt to tune out like I do for Jaya. *pat myself on the back* . No household chores. Thanks for that. Give me my Shlok dose and I am happy. Loved Avinash today. Is there a scene in which Geetanjali didn't excel until now? She is always perfect. Sheetal did a great job. Excellent episode.
