In yesterday's episode, Shlok hears the music from the diary and rushes to his room and asks aastha about it. This shot caught my attention for the mural on the wall, of three black birds (sparrows) perched on a branch - two of them facing each other while the third one is looking elsewhere. I interpreted them as the three characters that mattered in that scene - Shlok, Aastha and Swathi.

Black symbolizes mystery, being secretive and protective about something.

Sparrows find their mate and stay with them for life. These birds symbolize true love, loyalty, dedication, trust and also freedom.

Shlok is one black bird that is protecting his secrets. He is in search of true love, loyalty, dedication and trust. But he is not letting go, be it Swathi or Aastha.

Aastha found her true love and is helping him but she still doesn't want to hold on to him. She wants to let go of him and walk off after six months. She believes in freedom but she still loves him and is very much dedicated to him.

I think the mysterious blackbird that is facing away from the other two is Swathi. We don't know much about her to analyze.

Share your interpretation of this shot?😊

Very curios though how come Shlok did not hear any music when Astha was sitting on the side of the bed and reading the dairy
There was no music coming from the dairy then ?

As Shlok was right next to her and he woke up while Astha was still reading the dairy

actually there was that same music when Aastha opened the diary in the scene you mentioned. its just that we didn't think that Shlok would use a musical diary😆
Shlok was stirring in his sleep, but i guess, he was too sick to gain consciousness.

Lovely Rekha. Did not see it till you showed it.
What you say might be very correct. Swati the one who left so has her back to these two. Hope she or Karan actually never show up. Hate the idea of Karan even showing up. I do not see any jealousy in Astha about Swati, so to make Shlok accept his feelings for Astha by making him jealous with Karan is simply killing the very trust that Shlok has and the love that Astha has for Shlok. If the two birds here facing each other are Shlok and Astha , then there is no place for Karana nd the third bird Swati will have to just fly away. The good thing here is she is not between these two. So Swati can actually never separate them.
My POV.

completely agree suchi. i'm not a big fan of jealousy either, when we are dealing with true love. jealousy just shows that you are possessive about someone. it doesn't mean you truly love that person. we already know that shlok is possessive of aastha. if karan shows up, it would be for entertainment purposes alone and won't add much value to the real love story.

It will then become a typical bollywood movie story and lose its charm and originality.

@Rekha, being little bit of an interior decorator, moi see these things right off the bat. In fact, it started out as a side hobby-cum-few-years-later-turned-habit phew!
That said, did notice it right away but not with the kind of analysis you gave altho wondered about it. Why bcoz symbolisms have galored since day one from mirrors to bappa ... to the ladder, all the way to the tennis ball, for me not to question the significance.
And now suddenly after reading your post, i said howcome i didn't delve deep into it given that I have seen Hitchcock's The Birds only 15 times😳😳 and used to live on a different street named Hummingbirds, double triple whammy😳😳😳
Your keen eye tells me of your deep interest in EBP and then some⭐️👏
@suchi, right on, when you say ~ The good thing here is she is not between these two. So Swati can actually never separate them.👍🏼
