Episode Commentary: 12.02.2014

I loved Ranvi for standing up for his Beeji and Sister! His dialogues were so true. He can get thousands of girls like Gunjan but not a mother nor a sister and especially when you leave them for such a girl. Well done Ranvi! Gunjan crossed all the limits today by blaming Ratan! As if it wasn't enough to accuse Ranveera of doing such a ridiculous thing. That girl is a lost cause! Chaiji was right that Ranvi was saved from marrying such a brainless girl. She does not deserve Ranvi at all!

Ranvi: He stood up for his mother and sister and disowned Gunjan. I loved his 'in your face dialogues' to Gunjan tonight. Did not make much of a difference to her, did it??😕😕 Oh yeah whom am I talking about. I'll just skip that part. I have written too much about the same. He went on to twist her hand.??😲😲😲 That's Veeba's trademark Veerji. You and Gunjan are not supposed to twist arms and do foot stomping. Nah nah nah. I liked his dialogue "Aise parivaar ke liye mein so Gunjan ko bhi bhula sakta hoon" Difference in upbringing and family values highlighted in one dialogue👏
But other than that, Shivin needs to control his eyes in AYM scenes.

Gunjan: I am happy no unbelievable justification came our way😃 People were justifying her characterless acts and calling it TIT for TAT based on the precap. CV's proved us wrong again. Didn't they?? None of her dialogues are going to uplift her in my eyes. I have no sympathy for the girl.👎🏼
Balwant: 😡😡😡 What Bansuri does is differentiation between kids. So what do we name Balwant's acts. Baldev was just stopping his sister getting manhandled. I agree that she was wrong. But that does not give anybody the right to manhandle her in front of her brother. And he gets a slap in return?? Ok so Balwant believes in slapping kids to set them straight. So why only Baldev?? Wasn't Gunjan playing out all her dirty tricks tonight. Except for his helpless dialogues she gets no slap treatment??😡 This is differentiation between a boy and a girl. He needs to open his eyes and understand the difference between both the children. Baldev always gets humiliated by his father in front of everybody. Gunjan gets everything in private. Not done👎🏼

Baldev: For me along with Ranvi, Baldev stood out tonight. He proved again that he is protective of his sister. He again proved he respects his father and does not insult him in front of others.
Dialogue of the day "Yeh hui na Baldev Singh Ki Behen Waali baat". Well Baldeva Ji you yourself do not know what you are. You are far from being your sister. This is not Baldev Singh waali baat. Loved Vishal tonight.He did not bring Baldev Singh attitude into the above said dialogue which proves Baldev himself was confused at the idea of his sister's revenge. And he altered it with his next dialogue "Mein hota tho wahi ke wahi kuwe mein daal deta"👏 Quite contrasting understanding of what he would have done in such a situation in minutes. His expressions were spot on when he looked confused between his scheming mother and spineless father. Acting wise he was the performer of the episode.
And not to forget the brawl b/w Ranvi and Baldev. Spot on dialogue delivery and body language Vishal. Angry Baldeva is the hottest Baldeva👏

Show Stealers: Ranvi the character. Baldev/Vishal. Both the character and the actor stood out for me tonight. Farnaz again did a good job. I am sorry but Shivin needs to work on his AYM expressions.

I think when it came to Ranvi he could take Gunjan's rejections and insult but when it came to her insulting Ratan and Veera it became too much for him and rightfully so. Gunjan was on the attack and was getting worse so I'm glad he put a stop to it. Gunjan got nothing out of humiliating his family, it did not relieve her pain.

Balwant should not have slapped Baldev. Baldev reacted the way any brother would have, Ranvi was not letting go of Gunjan's hand despite her saying it hurt so why wouldn't he get angry? Baldev rightfully told Ranvi that the same way he cannot tolerate anyone hurting Veera is the same way he can't tolerate anyone hurting Gunjan. Baldev has his flaws but here he was not wrong and Balwant should've redirected his anger towards Gunjan who caused this entire scene. Balwant always finds the wrong time to react.

Thanks Mandy...that clears things up for me. Balwant pulled a foolish move...anger at Gunjan ended up slapped across Ballu's face...he wasn't doing anything wrong then.

And what you said about Ranvi...exactly! He said to Ballu in the restaurant scene a while back, that he has a lot of self control and can handle the bitterest of bitter things thrown his way, but all hell breaks loose when anyone hurts his sister...so I guess Ranvi was just staying true to his self by letting Gunjan know whats up.
