As Myra has not started the thread today, I am posting some thoughts on today's episode.I am very sorry Angie, i was out yday and when i came to post later at night what i have written on the epi i have lost everyth that i wrote😭internet have been very mean to me😭

It was a good episode where the story is moving towards development of Shlok and Astha's relationship.yes i liked the episode, we actually got what we wanted, slowly but yeah the story moves forward..infact that was the title of my lost post "slow-mo" means slow motion😛 its also inspired by ashta pushing the car, she looked adorable as a snail😆

Niranjan and Anjali

It started with Niranjan and Anjali where Niranjan decided to break his own rules for the "greater good" of bringing Shlok and Ashta closer. So he first praised Anjali as he is now pleased with her success and manipulations. But then paused to state that she was wrong in making Astha work do so much housework. Anjali's senses are always on full alert around Niranjan; it was evident in the way her hands stopped messaging his legs and she became tense as soon as Niranjan started his complaint. Niranjan was also flexing his hand though he was addressing her with utmost respect. Anjali started looking scared. She walks on egg shells around Niranjan. yes him flexing his hands got me thinking why is he so insecure of his manipulation? does he trust his skills that anjali wont ever refuse him things? Wonder how long has it been since she has relaxed.since she married him.. Their relationship is reminding me of the couple played by Julia Roberts and her abusive husband in "Sleeping with the enemy". The only difference was that she wanted to escape him and was just trying to find an opportunity when she could do so. Here Anjali has accepted that this is her life and she tries to make the best out of it. i guess she lost trust in people that she can ever b rescued..

Niranjan was not content with letting Anjali do it her way. He stood up surveying her interaction with Astha and Shlok, while Anjali was fully conscious of him standing in the background like a teacher who is taking an exam. Then once Anjali completed her work of telling Astha not to do any more housework, he ordered Shlok to take Astha with him in his car. And baby bear didnt follow that order, he actually didnt drive ashta till the office😉 i like his style in rebelling😆

Shlok and Astha

I felt sorry for Shlok whose world is changing and he is not able to understand it. First he was puzzled when his mother asked Astha to concentrate on office work.yes, he looked very confused, like :what is she up too? He has always seen Anjali following traditions in the strictest way possible. Prior to that, he has his usual run-in with Astha where Astha blamed him for delaying her. He rightly reminded that when had she gone to office on time. Then Astha as usual pompously told him that he being from the rich family would not understand struggles of middle class girls who had to take auto to work. Well, plenty of middle class girls do reach their office on time and are easily able to maintain their career.thats very correct, here ashta proves being pammpered kid, she wasnt late bcoz of the auto thing but bcoz she loves doing house chores more than offce, when she went to anjali to anounce shes going to office she was like begging her with her eyes to give her some work so she can stay behind, thats why she was looking on when anjali told her she shouldnt do anyth bessidesoffice Astha on the other hand is actually acting like a pampered person from a rich family who do not take their responsibilities seriously.yes In fact, she so far is only taking her house responsibilities seriously where she did a lot of housework despite Anjali telling her not to do so. And then she was assuring Anjali that she would finish the remaining work after she comes back from work. So she is using all her efforts to do work in a house which is only hers for six month. But not making an effort for the company where she is half owner and the place that would help her in future. madam has other priorities, thats y shlokie always plays the teacher, he wants her to know her numero uno priority in life should be him and only him😛😆

Anyway, after all this discussion of auto vs. cars, Shlok was again dumbstruck when Niranjan asked him to take Astha to work. He did not refuse Niranjan, but then found a way to get back at Astha where he did make her take the auto. First he was angry at her for ignoring him and touched her intentionally to make her concentrate on him.a good teacher always has to win his student attention before teaching😉 Then as a payback, he made her push his car for his kiddish revenge. Niranjan does not realize that Shlok actually did not obey his orders of taking Astha to work. This is when baccha is so dedicated to him. What happens when baccha loses his devotion? To what extent will Shlokie baby go in defying Niranjan?till he realises on his own he defyed papa, and will b too late😈

Then as a final payback of the day, he moved Astha to his office. So now he is going to be with her all day. Astha took her revenge by ordering flowers that he hates. He had given her a red rose when he was showing fake love to her. So he gave her something that he hated.poor shlokie see what he had to suffer to woo her.. But now that there is honesty between them, he is showing glimpses of what torments him. Astha is quite an ostrich when it comes to various things. But her alertness comes when it relates to Shlok. Now she is beginning to wonder at Shlok's strong reaction to roses. yes, i liked that

Also she found out that Shlok was telling the truth and did not send Avdhoot to jail. So she is now feeling remorseful as she is the type of person who feels instantly bad at any wrongdoing. But Astha has forgotten that it was Shlok who started all this. So though his intentions were not to harm Avdhoot , his actions did cause a lot of mental anguish for Avdhoot and his family. But Astha has justified Shlok's behavior by calling it misunderstanding on his part about her. She had already forgiven Shlok for all his behavior since SR when he saved her life in the jungle. She had only left him because of Avdhoot's arrest. Now that cause is gone. So it seems that Astha's desire to stay with Shlok will become even more stronger. Also she is getting more and more curious about Shlok's reaction to certain things. So it should not be long when she makes Shlok her pet project and starts looking into his past.she is forgiving him easily, thats her nature, there are people like that.. but i do hope she makes him her project and help him move on from the past, maybe then he will b the one apologizing for playing with her fsther, her family.

Shlok does need somebody persistent and crazy like Astha in his life as he would never make any initiative on his own. He is also very much like Anjali where he underestimates others. Anjali thinks of Sojal as inconsequential and ignores her. So she does not realize how far Sojal has gone or will go because of her increasing frustrations. Similarly, Shlok dismissed Abhay as the one behind Avdhoot's arrest, as he neither credits Abhay with too much intelligence or thinks that he would want to get back at him.oh yeah, y is he always lettting that snake go, he dissapoints me..i still didnt get my scene where he beats abhay black and blue So he is again underestimating Abhay. Hopefully, this would not end up costing Jyoti who is in direct's harm way. But now Shlok knows that Abhay was in his office that day. So hopefully he would figure out Abhay's truth before anything worse happens to Jyoti.

Precap: Anjali is trying to create a rift between Astha and Kalindi. But now Astha will use the truth about Shlok to bring Kalindi to her side. lets hope so but will kalindhi give in easily?

This is one relationship which has always intrigued more than Shlok and Astha! What is it that makes this lady take all the abuse and still stay with him. She willing takes all the abuse and yet stays with him. She does not like it that Astha become a shadow of her but yet relentlessly pursues on that mission just because NA wants it😕

Asthak, I too find this relationship very intriguing as there is so much mystery about Anjali. How she gave up so much control to Niranjan despite having loving parents. She tries hard to change Astha because her own survival depends on it. But deep down, there is a tiny spark of rebellion that wishes for a change in her life. That's why she feels anguish whenever she feels that she has succeeded. As hinted several times, Anjali was a free spirited girl full of emotions. So deep down, she wishes for Astha not to change into her shadow.

Shlokie and his antics continue when he is around Astha. I liked it how you described him, I always felt she is his object of attention , he behaves like a boy who got his fav. toy back around her. Well, the bachaa is already is out of hands of Baba..his mission is changed now a bit from Baba's devotion to Astha's attention 😆.

Yes, he is a like a kid who craves Astha's attention because she is the only who has given him unconditional love. Now that Astha is pretending to not care for him, he resents it and wants that attention back. I found it amusing the way he hit her hand on pretext of changing gear to get her attention. Poor baba does not even realize that Astha has become a priority for baccha.😆

He will defy Baba the day when he acknowledges himself that he is head over heels in love with Astha. I did not like his attitude when he made when he did not let Astha get on the car, liked how Astha took the Auto.

Well, Shlokie is like those teenager boys who are vindictive. He does behave quite obnoxiously with Astha. I too liked Astha getting the auto, though she did agree to push his car initially. Astha has a lot of patience and giving in her to deal with Shlokie.

One more point ...just like she left him now from car to take the auto ..in future if she leaves him again ..and after his miserable past with swati..will he able to handle it ?! He is nurturing his broken heart and holding on to her unknowingly to him. Logically, Astha should leave him again because he has taken her for granted too much. Only when he loses her after falling for her, he would learn his lesson. And as he is not strong like Astha, he will not be able to handle her leaving him. Even now he used to get drunk when he would helpless in getting back Astha.

I am eagerly waiting for the day when Ms.Nosy will be back. She has recently lost all interest in her curiosity on knowing more about Shlok. I have understood that Astha is back to Agni mansion because she wanted to find out about those answers from Shlok that she asked during fire accident but she is not concentrating on him.Not just because of the court orders , that is just a pretense to answer her mom.

Astha so far has been depressed about her life and so was being very subdued. Avdhoot's arrest was between her and Shlok. Now that is out of her way, she will start trusting Shlok once again. She was always interested in knowing about Swati and now the roses and him getting drunk is going to make her enough curious to snoop into his past. She came back to him because she wants him to prove to her that she was not wrong about reading his feelings for her. But now the concentration would be back too especially since Niranjan is trying to bring them closer.

I liked how you compared Anjali and Shlok here, they both do have similar kind of temper for sure.

Shlok needs somebody like Astha but when will he understand it? All he understand now is he needs that attention from her. What I didn't like though is Astha ready to forgive Shlok in spite of all his misdeeds that he did in the past on SR and after that! And how come Shlokie is underestimating Abhay even after getting a solid proof like CCTV footage in beyond my understanding! Is it just because he is his brother-in-law?

Shlok has his past garbage and his dense nature combined with ego that will not make him acknowledge it. That's why he needs both Niranjan and Astha to push him out of his zone.

I agree about your views about Astha because though he did not send her father to jail, he caused a lot of mental anguish for him. But then she has always been shown to be like this. Shlok was only her boss when he slapped her. Yet she justified that slap. Then her parents were getting insulted in every Agnihotri function. She used to be angry about that and would threaten to break up the engagement, but then would not do anything. So this is Astha's characterization - a flawed personality for whom Shlok comes first. Not an admirable trait but then that is Astha. She does take her parents for granted. Hopefully, one day they will show that growth in her where she would take a stand for her parents.

Angie I didn't see it as a kiddish revenge or him getting back at Astha.I thought that it was a way of showing Astha that although he is accepting Neeranjan's wishes it does not mean that his father has complete control over him. He did it in a very kiddish way because he enjoys riling up Astha and also that is his way to deal with things but since he had a very serious look after he had his fun, to me it seemed that he meant business and that he was serious about it . Niranjan does not realize that Shlok actually did not obey his orders of taking Astha to work. This is when baccha is so dedicated to him. What happens when baccha loses his devotion? Swati had labelled him as a selfish person...now if he decides to move on then he might have to acknowledge that Swati was right and that he was wrong...That might also mean that he might have to acknowledge that girls are equal to boys...
