Agree with you. MJ was a prisoner of his past which was killing him a thousand times every day. So he kept Tara at a distance, thinking she is better off without him. Now that his future is opening up before him with the discovery of Radha and the fact that both the crimes he has been charged with has not really taken place, (here it is important that Radha was not raped because if she was, he would still be hesitant to free himself because he somehow feels obliged to save the wastrel bro of his for his step-mom's sake) he has dared to dream of a happy future with his wife.


But then he just cant wake up and simply tell Tara that he wants her in his life after pushing her away for so long. He needs to feel the pangs of being ignored and pushed away, pangs poor Tara felt for so long. Hope this track will show this deep longing for his wife before he starts wooing Tara in right earnest and they reunite. Both need to understand the depth of the other's love and this track will just provide the fodder for it.

More importantly, I hope MJ realises how much he misjudged/mistrusted Tara in not sharing his secrets with her. Loving is fine but trusting is more important. He should have shared with her details about his Dadaji. Hope he takes her to see him after they reunite and introduce her proudly as his wife.
