Juhi Parmar injures her eye!

Juhi Parmar aka Kumkum of the same titled serial is in pain. But this time it is not because of her melodramatic dialogues on screen but due to an injury to the cornea of her right eye.

Juhi was adjusting her eye makeup on the sets of Antakshri- The Great Challenge and forgetting about the pin in her hand she accidentally injured herself.

Parmar was in immense pain but continued shooting for the episode even though her eyes were watering and even turned red by the end of it. Unable to see the things clearly, she had to wear a patch on her right eye for the shoot.

"My vision was affected and I could not see properly because of the swelling. I did call my optician who suggested that I go to the surgeon soon. But I was in the middle of the shoot and could not cancel it. But later I went to the surgeon who gave me some eye drops and tablets. He also said that the damage was not deep and will get well soon. And now everything is fine but there is still pain in my eye. I am currently shooting for the 1000th episode of Kumkum and hope I will recover soon," says Juhi.

Currently Parmar is seen in Kumkum on STAR Plus and also hosts Antakshri with Annu Kapoor. She made her debut with Shaheen on Sony and has also acted in the Hindi movie called Pehchaan: The face of Truth (2005).
