Part 37
He was staring the mobile screen for nearly few minutes. His mind was still struggling either to call his cousin for wait for his calls. He knew on what matter Akash wanted to discuss with him. He somewhere didn't want to talk anything which would only cause pain to his heart. He already facing numerous of problems these days with his wife and now he don't wish to increase them. He kept the mobile on the side table thought of having shower rather than waiting here. He took two steps ahead towards the bathroom but unfortunately his mobile rang again, he has to reserve back to answer it.
Arnav: "Akash.. Let's not discuss this.." He pointed his wish directly without playing with words.
Akash: "Bhai.. It's Raksha Bhandan tomorrow.. Won't you send anything for Di..?" He remain silent for some time before continue..
Arnav: "You think she will accept anything from me..?"
Akash: "Every year she sends you rakhi then won't you send gifts for her..?" He smiled..
Arnav: "Stop lying Akash..! I knew it was send by you. You might success in front of your eyes but not before me. I know my Di very well. I have spent my half life with her. She might make the rakhi but she will never send because she was still angry on my decision for choosing this field."
Akash: "Then why don't you leave everything and come back to us. AR needs you Bhai.. I and Aman are trying hard to keep it on the same level where you left before but yet it seem not perfect as it was when it was under you. AR is your Empire Bhai and Fashion is your blood why don't you leave the criminal world and start a new life with us. Di ko hum sambhal lenge... (We will pacify Di..) And Khushi Bhabi also need to know about her in law.. How long you wanted to create distance with your family Bhai?"
Arnav: "Agar muhje ana hota, main kab ka achuka hota.. Main yaha khush hoon.. Tum sab ka khayal rakhna aur Di ka bhi.. Aab toh Di maa baan chuki hogi.. (If I wanted to come back I have return long time ago. I'm happy here.. You take care of everyone along with Di. Now she might a mother of a child..)"
Akash: "Bhai at least.." been interrupted in between..
Arnav: "NO Akash.. No more argument. I will send my share of gifts to Di like every year. If she keeps or threw it, it's her choice. Don't stop her.." He cut the called and seat on the recliner. He was controlling his inner turmoil before it breaks into tears. He don't know if he have taken a right decision or not by leaving his own families behind by starting a new life in this Gangster empire of his Father's generation.
Flashback
Raizada Mansion
Arnav was packing his clothes in a small suitcase. He wasn't in term of talking with anyone not even with his elder sister Anjali Jha.. He loves her a lot more than anything. Anjali was the only one who understands her brother very well. Because of their father Arjun Malik, this little family had faced a lot of problems due to their father's profession. Poonam (Arnav's mother) passed away due to illness as she couldn't able to bear the tortures and the taunts of the society. It wasn't an arranged marriage. Raizada was against Poonam's decision to marry a man like Arjun who was from a criminal background with Gangster world. But due to blindness in love, Poonam went against her parents and choose Arjun instead of her own family. She didn't thought about the consequence as she was too much in love with Arjun Malik. She thought maybe she would able to change him in near future but it didn't happen. When time passed, Arjun was getting more violence. Sometime he do carry his hand on his wife Poonam due to frustration. Anjali and Arnav always stay away from their father. They were too scared of him. Whenever he reached home they always hide themselves in the room so they won't meet him. Their whole life was surround of darkness and fears of their father.
Poonam decided to leave Arjun for the betterment of her two kids. She didn't want her husband's shadow to fall on them. She didn't want her children to live a life of a Gangster. It was a big time when she regrets on her own decision of marrying Arjun even after her parents refused a lot but she was too stubborn.
She runs away from Malik house with Anjali and Arnav. The only place she could find solace was Raizada Mansion. She begged her parents and asked for their forgiveness. She was the only daughter of Raizada, they loved her lot even after she ditched her family for a man but still as a parent they couldn't see her in such a miserable condition. They accepted her and her two kids by promising her to give a good future to Anjali and Arnav. She started to live a new life away from her husband and his world. Arjun tried to take her back and his kids but none of them was ready to follow him. Poonam threaten him if he tried to do something to her family and her children than she won't hesitate to file a case against him on his illegal business. Arjun don't have any option other than leaving his family behind forever. He was happy in his own Gangster world. While, Arnav, Anjali and Poonam changed their surname to Raizada and started a new life away from Arjun Malik and his enemies..
Arnav Singh Raizada is a successful business tycoon. He has few fashion houses and worldwide recognizes Business Tycoon. He just received his father's death news from Rocky and Vardhan who came to Raizada Mansion to inform him.
He didn't wait any longer and marched to his room to pack his stuff. Anjali follow him from behind trying to stop him.
Anjali: "Chotte tum aise kahi kar sakte.. (Chotte you can do like this..)" She was trying to stop him from packing his clothes..
Arnav (Gritting teeth): "NO Di.. I have decided I will take revenge for my father's death. I will kill them.." His cheeks turn red when the opposite person gives him a tight slap for even thinking of something like this. KILL..!
Anjali: "You are going to be like him Chotte..? How can you forget what he did to us..? To Mamma..??" She was weeping badly. She didn't want her brother to follow their father's step.
Arnav(Composing himself): "I will never forget nor I will forgive him but now I'm doing a duty of a son. My dad been killed and I won't stay silent. He might be bad but we can't change the fact that he was our father. We are having his blood in us and Mamma..?? She was wrong too. She clearly knows about His profession but still she prefers a life with a Gangster. If Dad was wrong then Mamma wasn't less.." He zips his bag as he was done here. He started to walk away but stopped by Anjali's words.
Anjali: "Ek aur kadam ahge baraya chotte toh, hum aapke saath rishta tor denge humesha humesha ke liye.. Hum bhool jayenge ke humara bhi ek bhai tha.. (If you put another step ahead then I will break all my ties with you forever. I will forget that once I even have a brother)"
The Raizada family was standing at the doorstep of Arnav's bedroom. They too were with Anjali. If he choose his father than they will never consider his decision. Arnav's clenched his fist tightlg. He knew his one decision meant losing his family but being a SON he wasn't able to follow his Di's words. He took a step ahead breaking the delicate hearts of Raizada and Anjali. She was crying on her knees for losing her brother again because of her father.
That was the day Raizada cut their entire ties with Arnav Singh Raizada. Whenever, if there is any news of him in the television the Raizada would changed the channel and newspaper would be threw away if his face was there in any corner of the paper. They didn't even know he is MARRIED to Khushi except Akash. For the world he might be a part of them but for them he was dead.
Flashback ends
Present
His back was resting on the recliner with his eyes closed. Tear was rolling at the corner of his eyes. Few years passed but yet again he wasn't able to celebrate the brother sister's day. His Di hates him because of his decision. He never regret for leaving them because he know he would take care of them even he would be far from them. Until now, none of his rival able to point their finger on his family. His family was protected fully with special train guards.
But how can he forget that he still loves his family a lot. He misses them each day. He never tried to meet them because he knew they don't wish to see him. He doesn't have the courage to see into their eyes after breaking their hearts. Today for the second time he was crying again. He cried before when he learn the true face of his wife and today he was crying as he somewhere missed his family a lot.
He was lost in his own thought till he didn't realize that someone was standing beside him. She was about to touch him but in sudden her hand been waves off from even nearing him. He opens his eyes and wipes away his sorrow.
Khushi: "Arnav what happen..??" She clearly saw his wet eyes and now he wasn't able to create any lame excuses.
Arnav: "Out..!" He was still trying to control his tone. He didn't want to erupt on her like a volcano.
Khushi: "But.." Her words stuck in her throat when he stood up in rage and grip her forearms tightly..
Arnav: "Main jiyu yaa maro tumse koyi matlab nahi.. Just GET OUT..! (I'm alive or death it shouldn't bring any difference to you.. Just GET OUT..!)" He literally pushed away. Her legs were glued on the ground. She didn't move an inch. He knew he can't push her every time so he decided to leave. He took his towel and disappeared in the bathroom.
She was walking out from his room with moist eyes. His tear was stabbing her heart. She don't know why it was causing a lot of pain. Her mind was out of her trance that's when she back to present when she dumb into someone which was none other than Rocky..
Rocky: "You okey..?" She nodded brushing away her tears..
Khushi: "You seem rushing somewhere..?" She tried to divert the topic so Rocky won't question her much..
Rocky: "I need inform ASR that the arrangement for the party was done. Everything is in order.."
Khushi: "What party..?" She asked confusedly..
Rocky: "Ohh.. It's related to his business. He bought 4 biggest casino in Singapore and German so this party is to celebrate his success.." Khushi didn't comment anything else. She walked away from there to her room..
