This FF of mine I had done way back on armaan n bharti from bhasker bharti I tweaked the story line n. Cs to make it fit YHM

The Iyer's :Before leap yr 2008
Bala Iyer : 24 yrs old Mr. softy he is such a sweetheart his values have made him a gentalman wether it's elders or women he is very respectful to them. Adorable n cute any girl who meets him wants to be with him but he only likes his sister best friend Simmi which is also his best friend Raman's Sister but hasn't confessed his love yet' even though he has style and attiude of the boy next door he literally is the boy next door...the Bhallas live right across from them. He isba wonderful son and over protective loving brother he is willing to anything for his family and is very close to his little sisters Ishita and Mihika and his best friend Raman
Bala Iyer : 30yrs old After leap yr 2014 He is not the Mr. Softy he once was 6 yrs back he has put up a wall of aggressiveness and arrogance to outsiders and his Wife Simmi ...only loving and caring to his parents n sisters. For them he is the same old Bala but to the world he comes off a bit aloof n proud. Yet one who once was respectful to All now is only Respectful to ones who deserve it . He will treat you the same way you treat him n his family . You are good to them he will be to if you even be the slightest Disrespectful or rude then he will give it back 10 folds.
To his parents n the world living a happy married life perfect husband n loving father but alone in the bedroom with simmi it's a whole 180 degrees they are practically like strangers . He is and is always worrying about Ishu after all she been has through the past 6 yrs and is very proud of how she has Handel her self and her life and has only one goal.. goal to ruin the guy who ruined his sister life Aka his saala and enemy Raman Kumar hand els family business onnthe side Works at Times of India as Chief Editor.
Ishita Iyer before leap 2008 : Young innocent shy 19 yr old girl lives in her Dream world' Believes everything is how it looks in books and movies , Believes in true love and Waiting for her Prince Aladdin to come on a magic Carpet and show her a whole new world, She is very Dependent on her Family espcaily her big bro Bala who always pampers her, is very close with her Unna( Bro) her baby sister Mihika and best Friend Simmi .Is a good Daughter is willing to do any for them has a soft corner for Raman .
Ishita Iyer After leap yr 2014 Young successful 25 yr Confident, Strong ,Independent girl Basicaly the Woman Of Today, has learned the ways of the world the hard way and Realizes what they say and shown in movies and books is just a bunch of !@#$%&* and Belives there is no such thing as True love 'has lost all fate in love thanks to Raman Kumar Bhalla . Has her own event/Wedding planning business at a young age of 25 haon made a huge name in her career that big names come to her wether it be from Flim industry or political parties .
Even more close to her bro, lil sis Mihika And best friend / Bhabi simmi she doesnt blame her for what happend feels she should get punished for what her Raman bhaiya did . These 3 where the only ones who came through when she need them'not on talking terms with her Uppa (father) or Bhallas . other than Her unna Bala and sister Mihika she only lives for her life. Her attiude is just like in the real YHM Ishu ,fun loving care free yetvwhwn needed knows how to give tit for tat and won't take anything hands down not a weak helpless woman by any means . Lives life on her terms does what she wants to do , doesn't give a damn what the world thinks is a strict straight forward business woman.
Mihika iyer before leap: 17 yrs old youngest of 3 siblings who is a total opposite of both her sister n bro she gives it how it is doesn't sugar coat a thing ... Very blunt says what she feels then thinks after saying it. she is the stereotypical tom boy who hates to wear dresses and has a little bit of a punk feel to her ... A total gundi is one of the boys ... Not afraid to even beat guys up if needed ... she is the laughter track of the house who loves her sister and bhaiya but most of all loves to annoy her Amma with her tomboy behavior.carefree and fun loving .
Mihika Iyer 23yrs old with in the past 6 yrs many things have changed and Mihika is one of them .. She took a whole 180 degree turn she is no more the tomboy she once was. Now she is a sizzling B.I.T.C.H aka BEAUTIFUL INDIVIDUAL THAT CREATS HELL. She is hot and happening and knows it. She uses her looks and. Charm to get her way around things . She has one goal and that is to beat the living Hell out of that !@#$%&* Raman Kumar Bhalla and send him to jail and make him cry tears of blood. After ll he did to her Akka . She knows her Akka is too nice to give payback to Bhallas for what happend and really doesn't want anything to do with them . So she has decided she will get revenge on her behalf and knows not one but 2 of the Bhalla brothers like her a lot . She works as a Managing Director for a matching making Company called Rishta.com so that innocent girls won't fall in love it the kaminey in the world . Loves her bhaiya n Akka very much hates her bhabi Simmi ... hates her uppa ( dad ) for what he did to ishita because of him n mr. Bhalla her Akka went to Hell and Back'Supports her Akka in everyway Possible

Mr.Iyer After leap yr 2014 Very Proud of ishita and how she has turned around her life and became successful even after all shes gone through ' dispointed in Mihika on how she has become doesn't approve of her ways and cant forgive himself for what he did to ishu . Still the how he was di of the family . Has nothing to do with his childhood friend mr. Bhalla
Mrs. Iyer before the leap:loving caring wonderful mother n wife has only one dream to get all her kids settle down wants her ishu to get the best boy ever and wants a good bahu for the house.is willing to do anything for her kids
Mrs.Iyer after leap: she is Still the same loving mother she was but as a wife is more aloof . Very upset t her husband for what he did. Hates the Bhallas . Proud of ishu, disappointed in Mihika and her ways , feels for Simmi lucky have her as the bahu upset with how Bala behaves with Simmi .
Ruhi Ishita Iyer Ishita's 5yr old Daughter 'she is her life that's why Isitha always says I live for my life only' She loves her mama very much and knows that she never leaves any stone unturned for her ' even though she doesn't say anything she wishes her papa was with them but her Bala Mamu gives her the love she miss

OP Bhalla before leap: Mr. Iyers childhood friend and Ramans and simmi's dad . He is a sucessful business man has a company export import business funny very s jolly guy who is very happy to have His best friend living across from him . They are as close as family for him. Loves his family and Raman is his pride knows he is immature but knows he will never disappoint him
OP Bhalla after leap: not the jolly happy go lucky man he was is quite.reason being he lost his childhood friend due to his one mistake and disappointed in Raman he has no face to show the Iyers . No longer accepts Raman as his son he has only two sons Mihir and Romi and a daughter Simmi who is baring the brunt of his sons mistakes. Never wants to see Raman again won't allow him in his house.
Toshi Bhalla before leap: happy go lucky jolly typical punjabi filmy mother.
Cute loving caring mother and wife. Spoils the apple of her eye Raman and always covers up his mistakes .
Toshi Bhalla after leap : shows her bubblyness her jolly attitude but it's all now just a show. Feels she some where failed as a mother she was wrong in spoiling Raman if she hadn't and slapped him for his mistakes instead . He wouldn't have let them down. Misses her son Raman though. Cares for Ishita and wants to meet her once again to apologies for what Raman did.
Simmi Bhalla before leap: 20 yrs old hot and happening she is a fire cracker typical punjabi kuri ...actually a punjabi sherni .. Ishita's Partner in crime 'Best Friends yeah right more like sisters but She is very greatful to god that they are not cause she has a major crush on Bala but doesn't know if he likes her very close to her Bro Raman and her friend Mihika ..
Simmi Bhalla Iyer After leap 2014. .. 26 yrs old is a house
wife and mother married to the love of her life Bala. For the past 6 yrs . Was happly married for about 6 months till her brother ruined it for her. Is a loving caring bahu who is more like a daughter then a daughter in law , a wonderful mother to her son Yuvraj . To the world and family he is a dotting husband who pampers n showers his wife with lots of love and affection her old Bala, but behind close doors in the bedroom is the opposite not a minute or chance Bala leaves to insult, mock, or sting her where it hurts. They are strangers in a room She sleeps on far right n he on far left n yuvraj in the middle of them to Bala she is just a woman he can't stand . Desipite being right across from her Mayaka she is not allowed to meet them . Bala made her choose between them . Hates getting punished for her brothers sins still has a small ray of hope that she will get back her old Bala ..
Has a lot more love and respect for Ishita after all that's happened to her at such a young age is always there for her and loves Ruhi to the core. Hates how Mihika treats her.
Mihir Bhalla before Leap: 21 Mr. Nice , loving caring easy going guy.. who lives and enjoys every moment of life his cute flirty one liners will make any girl be on cloud nine cute mischief smile is a killer lol he respects all girls and is a true gentlemen very close to his sister Simmi and bro Raman can't stand his younger bro Romi and secretly has a crush on Mihika .
Mihir Bhalla After Leap 2014 : 27 yrs old exactly the same he was 6 yrs back still secretly in love with Mihika successful In his career he to works at ristha.com ..doesn't at all approve r support what Raman did but misses him ... Upset at him for treating a girl like that n acting like a coward . Because of him he knows he has no chance in getting the girl he loves.
Romi Bhalla before leap: 19 yrs punjabi Munda flirt , playboy, the phrase bachna eh hasseno fits him perfectly. Hates college loves to party ... But is a sweet caring guy he try's to show he is a kamina but in real he is a sweet gentalman has a huge crush on Mihika ...loves his Raman bhai can't stand Mihir .

Raman khumar Bhalla before leap: 24 yrs old just out of college has huge ambitions, wants to be successful and powerful ...has a dream to be in top guns in society wants to open his own company. Best friends with Bala ,He is a male chauvinist who considers women as objects of pleasure

Raman Kumar Bhalla after leap : 30 yrs old burdened with guilt regretting his sins he is a changed man due to karma and knocks in life he is not the same Raman he was . All though on the work front he is tough, edgy , and ruthless .after much struggle in the cooperate world after finally getting success he feels its all meaningless ... No one to share it with very loney.. Misses his family wants to o back but with what face. Realized his love for Ishita but it's too late .. Is a workaholic since he has no one to go home to... Doesn't know where Ishita is or how she is or anything about her or her life.
Ashok Mehra 30 yrs : Ishita's friend and coworker been there for her when she needed a shoulder cry on helped her become who she is today loves Ruhi as his own basically is a unofficial husband a father to them.
