But honestly, I do think that he already has accepted her as his mother deep down. He just isn't going to believe it yet. Father and son are both in denial. 😆

As far as track unfolding Ayaan does not know about the 15 days challenge between Anshuman..Pakhi..otherwise he would have used this as a medium to not go hostel..faking in calling Pakhi mom..
Ayaan is a smart child and in this showdown coming up he will see who really cares for him and its Pakhi..I'm sure Tanya will add fuel to this situation and influence Anshuman ..He might be angry and decides to send him to the hostel and in the process get rid of pakhi also..Thats where Pakhi will be the saviour of Ayaan and he too will make Pakhi win the 15 days challenge by calling her mother...

At this point Ayaan has lost what little ability he had to trust anyone because everyone seems to be giving him conflicting views. It was interesting to me that for the first time he didn't totally fall for a finger pointing at Pakhi, that is, when Tanya told him it was Pakhi who had asked her to entice him into boarding school. Somewhere deep down his instinct toward Pakhi has changed from assuming wrong of her to being unable to do so without serious doubts in his mind. Something inside him has sensed Pakhi's goodness because of her constant, unchanging attention and efforts vs. the ever-confusing and random explanations of his dad and Tanya.
But Ayaan is a very intelligent and logical kid. He is not one to trust his instincts without cold, hard facts to back them up. That is the only piece missing in his acceptance of Pakhi, the facts. By manipulating the facts and making his instincts seem wrong every time, Anshuman and Tanya have been keeping him from trusting Pakhi completely. Once he finds out the truth about Pakhi's intentions, his gut feelings and his knowledge will finally align and he will see Pakhi for what she really is. I don't think it is too farfetched for him to accept her as a mother then. In fact he will probably cling to her for dear life for being the only person who won't play with his feelings for their own gain.
My prediction is that, knowing how angry Anshuman is going to get and to defend Ayaan's honor in front of Tanya, Pakhi will take the fall for Ayaan tomorrow and say she told him to fake the fracture so that he wouldn't go to boarding school.Anshuman will get angrier with her for being selfish but Ayaan will finally be curious and thankful enough to give her a chance.

The only thing that's hard to believe is Ayaan calling her "mom". It's hard to imagine that she'll go from being DNW to mom so quickly unless he has some ulterior motive (which I think he will have, in not wanting to go to boarding school). So if Ayaan does say mom to Paakhi, I think he would do it for the sole reason of staying away from boarding school.

I can see where you are coming from about the suddenness of Ayaan's acceptance, but in my POV the transition has been coming on gradually all along. More and more, this DNW thing has become a defense mechanism for Ayaan to push Pakhi away because all the conflicting messages are making him too scared to trust her. I say this because at the picnic he was already hesitating to call her DNW and called her "woh" instead when he made her the den. In his heart, the transition had started even then when Pakhi proved Mahaji and Anshuman's predictions wrong by giving him a "big picnic" instead of a "big punishment." Anshuman's manipulation with the boarding school letter made Ayaan feel betrayed and hurt by someone he thought for a second was on his side, someone he had opened up to for a moment.
What is significant to me here is that he did not regress to the degree of cold malevolence that he had when he sent Pakhi to jail. His pranks were more like a normal, petulant kid who was craving attention and asking to be consoled. And Pakhi has been doing just that unconsciously. Whatever mood he is in and whatever plan she has going on in her mind, she gives him constant attention. On a subconscious level I think Ayaan is responding to this though he is not able to trust her completely because he is always being told that she doesn't want him. Once the facts and his feelings tally, I think rather than suddenly calling her "mom" and accepting her, he will allow himself to do what he has been holding back for a while now in accepting her.
My prediction came from two things. 1. Ayaan's concern (expressed to Mahaji) about his honor if he admits that he doesn't want to go to boarding school. He is a proud little man and I think he is most afraid of compromising that in front of his dad. He wants Anshuman to respect him as an equal. 2. Pakhi's quip to Tanya about how they won't let a third party into the concerns of their household. I think she will reprimand Ayaan in private, telling him that he doesn't have to go through all this to avoid boarding school, but save his face in front of Tanya Of course this is just my prediction. We'll see how it pans out!
