TFS. Was really looking forward for the drunken DV chapter to end. It got dragged too much. For the story to progress i didn't mind the evil goels and their scheming ways, but a constantly drunk and moping hero wasn't in good taste. The saving grace was Ruslaan's acting.
I also appreciated that in spite of the separation track the CV's didn't deprive us from seeing DV & Saachi together occasionally through the day dream sequences. I guess that is what helped a viewer like me to have patience with the way the story line was going.

Okay.. so we're back to discussing DV's drrinking 😆 Ab toh rehne do... bechara is out of his state na 😳

Since we are yet discussing it, here are my 2 cents on the topic...

Understandable that some of you have issues with DV drinking his sorrows away and not being able to think through things.. not able to find answers and resolving the issues. He's a smart & intelligent lawyer.. he should have gone down to investigating Saachi's sudden turnaround. Agreed. He resorted to drinking instead. But was it entirely wrong? I don't think so.. According to me, there is no right or wrong here. Rather, to me.. it made DV's character seem more 'real'.

While we expect shows to be as real as possible, we also expect the actor/hero to be 'heroic' in every situation/crisis? In reality... how many of us face critical situations in a strong way? While in some situations you can stand strong and tall... in other situations, you may become weak and fall. Its human tendency to fall... what matters is how you get up after the fall.

Like many have stated or understood... DV has grown up in luxury, not knowing what it is to have 'NO' for an answer. Saachi rejected him... he was heartbroken. He couldn't handle the rejection and found solace in drinking. With this, I don't mean to endorse drinking... or that it is the only way out. All am saying is... everyone has different ways of dealing with a situation.

DV faced major rejection... his mind shut off. What made it worse was his family not supporting him... or rather, not understanding him and playing the negative force around him. Dils came like a breath of fresh air... her positivity and support brought him back and made him think. His mom pushed him further... and he's back to his old self.

Speaking from my own personal experience here... so yes, I do understand why and how DV got into drinking. What matters is... he's back up on his feet!

So at last better sense prevails! There is nothing like the KISS ( Keep it simple silly) philisophy in life... I am sure the audiences will be back to the Saanchi-DV magic! At least i will be...

Just watching the BTS again...

Damn cute portion in between when Sangeeta sits on the sofa, Ruslaan is standing right behind her and they're talking. Ruslaan's smile there... to die for!

Anu, according to me Saachi is still better than DV and the character has been consistent. She was true to her character as once she had said to DV "mere sanskaton mein maa ki baat maan Leni chahiye" and that is what she did. She gave away DV to his mom.
What did DV do? A smart, intelligent lawyer could not face the first loss of his life and just crumbled and took to alcohol. To me he proved himself to be very weak who cannot think when faced with a loss. It is better to not have a partner than to have such a weak partner. Maybe because he was not surrounded by good people who could show him direction... Still he could have used and listened to his heart and he would have got answers. I am extremely disappointed by DV.
Now Saachi will be bashed again if she does not listen to DV or stays in this house.. Poor girl is always bashed no matter what.

LOL Maa ke sanskaaron wala part toh baad mein aaya tha, Anju...pray tell WHAT "sanskaars" compelled Saachi to throw Dhruv and his ring out when she found out about him being Dhruv Goel? And what "sanskaars" MAGICALLY made her mind change the moment he came home saying his family has agreed to the shaadi? Itne magical sanskaars hain yeh...Saachi ji toh sach mein is duniya ki nahin hain...fickle by the second...I should SO love this character.

@Anu: Yeah I did, change my username.. first opportunity I got. :) And yes, I understand it's difficult to give a damn.. for me, the way Saachi went on that rant on learning his identity and then simply took him back 2 days later with no explanation... that mind-boggling nonsense cut a chord. So now it's the leave ur brains in the bedroom kinda entertainment (or at least I hope there will be entertainment in the coming episodes)

Btw, there's an SBS interview as well, a different one, with RM and SG. :)

Ditto, Kiran...after that bit of nonsense, there is ZERO credibility left in her character and then DV started off on his drinking binges...these characters are mere caricaturish shells of their former selves now...so yes one can only watch this by shutting off your minds and pretending like every scene, every scenario is a stand alone moment with no connection to the previous...lol...they just rinse, repeat the same crap...now DV is in happy majnu mode again, will wear down Saachi again, shaadi setup...and uske baad? Saachi ko MAA ki sanskaar phir se yaad aa jaayenge so new drama?😆

What did they show in the SBS interview? Did they talk anything different from this one?
