What nonsense is this ! Diwali he had fumed at them. He didn't care two hoots if she had changed her mind about Lavanya ... He would never marry her. Not an hour later, had come down and announced ... Shaadi kar raha hoon ... And then, the same night, a couple of hours later, he had literally snapped their heads off over a casual discussion regarding dates for the sagai ... What had he said ... Honeymoon ki tickets ... Rubbish ! And hadn't he, days later, threatened engagement kal hogi, ya kabhi nahin and now, at this last minute, he says ki engagement hogi hi nahin ... Does he think this is some sort of a game ?

I always felt that La was just a punching bag for him. He brought her home when he was frustrated with Khushi's departure to Luckhnow and because of his own confused emotions.Now he is very much clear Khishi is the one and not La...kya kar raha hoon main...time to confess regardless he fought with Nani for La and all .

Meri life hai ... Isn't he tired of saying that, coz she sure is tired of hearing it ... Does he remember how bitterly he had fought with her ... Had even threatened to walk out from home ... Has repeatedly spouted the very same dialogue when he wanted to bring Ms Kasap home ... Does he remember any of that ? Does he remember how opposed she herself was to Ms Kasap and now when that poor girl has done everything possible to win over everyone in the family, has won over her, the one who was so vehemently opposed to her, he has announced ... Nahin kar rahay engagement ... Ridiculous !

She knows it is his life, but does he realize that his decisions affects the lives of all of them. Don't need to look too far to see that ... Poor Aakash bitwa ... Trust Manorama to drag her agenda in ... You know what, Chottay is absolouely right ... Why should poor Aakash be held captive to the ever changing whims and fancies of his mercurial brother ... His engagement will go on as planned.

He doesn't give a hoot about that regardless he loves everyone .He just doesn't care whenever it comes to his Khushi...same during Daadi he kept Khushi in his arms during terrace pheras ...me lub him there.

He knows all that his Nani has said, every word of it, holds truth. Jaldbazi ka liya gaya faisla ... Is he not paying for that right now ... Is she not paying for it ... Is Lavanya too not paying for his rash behavior the night of Diwali ? But this is what has to be done to reverse that completely unnecessary, thoughtless act. He can't call it a faisla, because it never was a decision. It was nothing more than a cowardly dash for the door ...

It was because he was too damn scared to accept the feelings and had no courage to embrace them.

His Di too tearfully tries to overrule him. She just will not allow him to take such a drastic step at this late hour. Itni dayr say hum tumhay yeh fasilsa nahin laynay dengay. He is stoically firm, Di agar aaj yeh faisla nahin layta, dayr tub ho jati ... 👏

Dayr ... It really is the eleventh hour ... or even later, some may think. But it not the eleventh hour that matters. It is the final hour that counts ...The twelfth hour ... The final minutes ...The final seconds ... There is still time yet ...

He opened his eyes and now things are clear .Even Khushi is engaged with some one but he ccn't betray La...

He has to extract himself from this completely manufactured situation. A crisis completely of his own making. How he had ended up here is as mysterious to him, as is his current decision to end his relationship to Lavanya, is to his family.

A cumulative gentle escalation, months in the making has brought him to this moment ... He brought Lavanya home, so that he would stop thinking of her ... He brought her back, so that her tears would stop ... He announced his intention to marry, to gain control ... He preempted his engagement so that he could punish her into admitting the truth ...

There you go, totally agreed with each and every word of yours...

How can he tell them, he had no intention ever to marry her, not at Diwali, not a week ago when he pushed to rush the engagement ... How can he use Lavanya any further than he already has, how can he continue to lie, dodge, evade the truth that has been staring him the face since the day she fell in his arms ...

He just couldn't and that footage is still in his phone...

All this has to end. Too many people hurt, too many tears ... All because he did not have the courage to do what he should have done in the first instance ... Grab her hand and not let go ... It may be late now ... But it is not too late ... Dayr toh such mein ho jati, par itni dayr bhi nahi hui hai ...

He has to gain control again by making things right for him...

Payal and Aakash, amidst applauding guests, a tearfully smiling Di and a sour looking Mamiji, joyfully exchange rings ...

Keh doon ? He asks of Lavanya. She nods, bravely. He keeps the breakup announcement simple and his felicitations to the newly engaged couple, graciously warm.

I actually wanted to write this post for the next episode, but my days are getting more crazier, so I decided to do this now itself. When Lavanya's character was introduced, I hated her shallowness and mannerisms. I couldn't wait for her to leave and make way for Khushi. But I fell in love with her somewhere along the way, and I know a lot of others did too! So here is my tribute to her!

A Journey from Desire to Dignity

She is a gorgeous, sophisticated, well educated, independent woman in love with the material world.

She started this particular journey with desire, and ended it with dignity.

She thought she was coming to try a live-in relationship.

But what she ended up doing was something remarkable! She discovered herself.

She learnt to respect others' values and culture, and she learnt self respect and added value to herself.

She learnt how to change and mould herself to adjust to others, and understood interdependence.

She realized happiness is not just in giving yourself to the other, but in belonging to each other.

That love is not just a cool word used at the drop of a hat, but an intense emotion that needs to be experienced. And a relationship has more meaning when your involvement is equally reciprocated.

She was willing to take whatever can be offered, but left with the knowledge that in love and life, and in all those things that truly matter, you don't settle for being and having second best.

When she came she was not welcomed, but now when she leaves she will be sadly missed. She found this was not her home to make, but she made her home in everyone's hearts.

She entered thinking herself a woman of this world, and left knowing that she can be a woman of substance, a woman of strength!

She is Lavanya Kasyap.

For I really believe that

When he mistakenly called out Khushi's name

While talking to la, he snapped out of his reverie

And realized that what he was doing was wrong

And unfair to Lavanya

it was a moment of genuine concern

And consideration for her and the injustice he was doing to her

That la also saw that it somewhere was steeped in his love for Khushi

Is besides the point, for Arnav's motives were not to bind himself and La in a loveless marriage !

Arnav and his kindness is always there and that is the reason ASR always wanted to protect this vulnerable Arnav from further damage.His love for his family is always their...Mamiji and buying her necklace is one scene which shows how much he cares for her why because she treats them as their own kids...loves them as her own kids...just like Akash.

Khushi is proud , and happy go girl today because even though her little dimaag doesn't want to say to DM make everything ok for Arnavji and La but she says it with her broken state in her mind but she is Khushi...who always remain happy in others happiness.
