but what happened to giri family, kalidas and his wife, small boy vijay..and one widow girl in Kalidas's house..and his dada brother ..etc..

Did i miss anything..did the director do justice for all the above charaters or just left it with loose ends?

Heehah.......... finally this serial has ended so let's celebrate. 🥳 [:D/] 🥳 [:D/] 🥳 [:D/] 🥳 [:D/] 🥳 [:D/] 🥳 [:D/] 🥳 [:D/]

Sorry Satish, this is not a personal insult to you. But to the director himself. If only he had stuck to the story line, instead of changing it all the time. Making it short and sweet, this would have been a great serial.
Unfortunately this was not meant to happen.

Anyway, I wish you all the best in future projects and hope to see you in another serial soon. Please do keep in touch. Don't be a stranger just because this serial has ended. Wishing you and your family all the best in future.

Cheers

Congratulations Pat for patiently sticking to your self imposed penance and updating this annoying serial. You are really a porumai thilagam. I do have one question, after all this - is there an unwritten rule somewhere that serials have to go on for so long? Why do they not finish them off after six months? Only in certain deserving cases, they should be allowed to extend them, and that too, only upto one year. TV channels should make this a rule. None of these shows deserve a longer run than that.

Kalidas's wife is gone with the wind forever - her baby is being looked after by the widow girl - I don't know what happen to her dada brother - maybe we have to cook up some story for his disappearance. Giri and Janani patched up and that little boy Vijay went back home with his dad who was diagnosed with cancer thus released from prison under compassionate grounds. The little boy bid farewell not only to Giri/Janani but including us too.!!😆...

Whether the director did justice to some characters or left them dangling can be noted by the viewers clearly...😉

One of the main reasons that a serial can get out of hand is the station itself. For e.g. SunTV. What they should do is give each director - say about 600 episode to produce and finish and assign how many hour for air time. If the serial is popular, then they should be aired at peak time. But the limitations is 600 episodes or something to the effect.

Instead of which they give the directors 3 months to produce, after which they judge the ratings, if that serial is a success, they extend the air time. So by that time, the Director does not know what to do, so the story line changes, actors changes, etc. So that is how things get out of hand. The same happened in Muhutram. Initially the story line was good, although I hate it when the villian have the same line dialogue. A flaw here and there was acceptable but overall it started off well. Eventually the Directors in their own way managed to screw up things.

Satish

If you are reading this, a message from my mum. I have told her this serial has ended. In Malaysia, they showed yesterday, Ethiraj family reunion. So I suppose today is Rajasekar's family union.

Anyway, my mum said commpared to some serial she sees, she says this is much better although she misses it from time to time because she prefers Kanna Kandien Thohzi which is shown by Jaya TV.

She wishes you all the best in your future venture. Good Luck
