Siva takes paru & his son out to have some fun family time. This is all shailus advise

Well the day goes on very well, and paro is so pleased and is all very happy

Just as the love birds sit down in a park and speak , a paithiyam comes and calls siva as mapillai, and asks him to take care of his daughter(who is standing next to her dad) , paro gets upset and throws a tantrum and leaves

after paro leaves siva asks the girl what happened to her dad again, as he thought he had cured him. the girl says that 2 days ago her dad read a message in the paper that a guy named bhaskar(his sil's name also happens to be bhaskar) died and his paithiyam is also back. the girl also tells siva that her mom is waiting at their cottage siva is tensed

paro returns and finds the lady waiting for siva and is upset, then she calms down after she hears her story about how siva cured the lady's husband acting as his mapillai, and how his paithiyam has returned back after reading the news paper

siva arrives and paro seems to be very understanding and she tells him that from now on in this matter she wont be suspicious

now that they are in the cottage, siva and paro realise that their is son is missing and they left him behind in the theme park. when they finally find their son he introduces 2 small girls as his girl friends trisha and nayanthara, once the little ones leaves, paro says boy you have girl friends, and you are just like your dad, siva is baffled

siva and paro get talking and she expresses that she like siva to be always around her and would like the house and hospital to be closer together. siva says that will not work out. then they talk about vinod. paro says that she does not want their son to be a doctor, cause he will find some surpaja like how siva has a shailaja. siva is stunned, and he agrees. and says that paro is still suspicious about shailaja.

siva says that he wont send shailaja out of hte office. paro is now upset. siva lies and says that he has borrowed money from her. shailaja calls, and siva asks like he cant hear her. paro is thinking siva leaves the spot where they are talking and takes the call

siva is working at night while paro and vinod are asleep. he receives a call from his athai's daughter meena and he takes it outside. siva tells meena that he knows that she wanted to speak to him , hence she called, and he kind of misleads her as to how he is single and will marry her

once meena's grandma comes she cuts siva off hurridely. she tells siva to send grandma to anathai ashram once they get married, siva is all smiles. grandma says that she knows that meena was talking to siva, meena is shy and acts like she is upset and leaves

diwarkar receives a mottai kaduthasi, which asks him not to marry 2 people who are not interested

diwarkar then calls his friend arjun, tells about the mottai kaduthasi. arjun asks what is written in the anonymous letter

arjun says this is a line from jayakanthan's story, so he thinks that the person who wrote this should be interested in tamil ilakiyam

diwakar says he is suspecting arjun, arjun says that he did not do this and finally asks diwakar what does arjun gain. diwakar says either it is jealousy or love for a friend, arjun is shocked

arjun is now in his room thinking about something and removes a box with a dry flower garland and his eyes flow with tears. he then looks at some salangai and then puts them back into the box

then he plays a song in the tape recorder and seems tensed and confused and he seems to visualise some hands and legs in dance movements, he gets all pysched and at the same time they show the parisal karan in meena's village listening to that song and crying. meena's friend comes there and sees the parisal guy crying, and she asks what is it that he has locked up in his manasu. shankaran refuses to share his sad story with her. she says she wont bother him , and shares her thoughts about how the music he was listening to and the jathi tha twent along with it was superb

shankaran then says that he will keep this for another day & he would only share this with herself and meena only. friend also says that since the time meena heard this song she wants to dance to that tune, shankaran gets excited, and then goes back to his sullen mood

shailu's house gets ransacked by goondas, i guess her husband has borrowed money again and has not paid it back. yep that is the story, apparently he had borrowed 5 lakhs and has not returned it yet. the goondas threaten her and leave promising to be back in 2 days if her husbandf does not payup then things will be different

as the goondas leavei shailu is so stressed. the goondas go and meet shailus husband. aDa pAvi. ippadi oru purushan thevaya. anyway the goondas say that she will pay up in 2 days, as the purushan leaves he is stopped by real goondas, who abduct him

siva and his mamanar are playing carom and fil is happy that paro's suspicious buddhi is gone. siva tells fil that they only thank shailu for everything, cause she is brilliant, paro comes in catches the last part and asks who is brilliant, siva mazhupufies, and paro says it is okay she knows it is about shailu as shailu is her friend. siva is shocked and asks how does paro know, she says it is becasue she is also brilliant

she gives coffee to siva and sends him out on an errand, her dad also asks coffee, paro seems agitated

Brief Update

- Siva gets ready to go out to get something for the family

- He receives shailu's phone and goes to her rescue as usual lying to paro

- shailu's husband is taken hostage by his ex boss who asks him to return the 5 lakhs he owes or to deliver a suitcase in bombay, shailu's husband agrees

- siva pacifies shailu (she is in her bedroom) and takes her to the church on her request

- siva's son is playing cricket and gets out when someone says his mom is coming

- Paro says that she wants her son to go home with her, paro & her son have a cute conversation on their way home,

- after shailu comes out of the church a poo kari asks siva to buy poo for her, and siva buys it for her, and since the poo kari gives 3 muzham, for some stupid reason siva puts the poo on shailu's hari, and this is witnessed by paro , who is walking back home after picking up her son

A very upset paro goes home, and complains to her dad, but she says that this time she is not going to fight with him, she has to think carefully and act. So she asks her dad to arrange for the 10lakhs that siva owes shailu, so they can completely cut of shailu & siva's episode, her dad agrees

Meena goes to shankar's house and takes the salangai on his desk and tries it out, then she strings the tampura in his house, then plays the tape, and takes out the cassette with her

Shankar returns and finds something different in his house, he goes to play the cassette, and it does not work, he panicks, and starts to look for it and wonders who would have takenthe cassettee.

they show meena's friend praying at the temple and the cassette playing in the temple, she goes where the tape is playing. meena confesses taking out the cassette from his house. her friend is not happy about this fact, but meena convinces her that after she finishes practising she will return the tape and say sorry to shankaran

a sad shankar is visualising some feet dancing to his tune,hmm wonder who this character is. Meena's friend manju pays him a visit, and gives him kovil prasadam. She asks him if the girl inthe jathi was his fiancee or wife. shankaran gets excited and goes and holds her , manju is all jollu. shankaran says it is neither his wife or girl friend. manju then offers a way to find the cassette. manju then talks in puzzles, but shankaran is focused on finding the cassette, she then asks him to go to the temple and pray and he will find what he is looking for

shankaran then sees meena dancing to this tune and imagines someone else dancing and gets all emotional, manju follows him and asks if he found the cassette. shankaran says that he was happy to see the way meena was dancing so correctly to the tune so he is happy that meena has it

manju is confused and i guess will start to scheme

10th Update

In the police commisioners office all the top officials are having a meeting regarding, their cases. One of the cops senthil arrives a little late and his reason for being was becasue he had to stop in between when he saw one of their informers and assign a new case to him

Slowly the discussions lead to the kOvil Silai thiruttu. Senthil speaks and says that he has been cultivating several informers in different regions, and gets applauded by the Chief officer. The Chief also warns senthil to be careful as some people play a double game, and senthil is shown in close up (either he is guilty or trying to decide who is the black sheep amongst them)

AFter the meeting Senthil calls shankar who is actually taking meena's father (chokalingama maranthu pochupa), on the parisil to go to the other side of town. Shankaran avoids senthils call, and Choks is suspicious. He makes a comment about how people these days are not trustworthy, especially whom we think as good turn out to be bad, and people who give the impression that they are bad, turn out to be good citizens. AFter shankar drops of choks, he calls senthil back. Senthil informs shankaran that he has got news that the KOvil thirutu kootam has targetted pooncholai village to be their next target, shankaran says he will be watching things

In chokalingams place, muniyan and his son go to meet, choks, and they creep into the house and sit in the unjal in their house, choks mom chastises them, but choks comes back and asks his mom to keep quiet and asks muniyan what the matter is. muniyan black mails choks for bhuvana's treatment and takes some money

They show muniyan going and visiting bhuvana, and her mom is actually being brought out from bhuvana's room by the nurse, as she is disturbing her daughter. Muniyan threatens bhuvana's mom thayamma and forbids her from visiting her daughter hence forth. Thayamma tells muniyan that he is a bigger creep than choks.
Muniyan strangles her and says that he wont even see that she is his sister and bhuvana his neice, he will simply strangle the both of them if he sees her around

In saro's house she and daughter pack murukku to sell to the stores, as always her husband comes to disturb their peace. He sees his neighbor tharani comes and hides as he had borrowed a chain from her. The neighbor insults saro and warns her that if they dont give the chain in 2 days she will make it to be a big issue, saro chastises her husband, who inturn cons a doctor and gets 10,000 rupees and hoepfully will get the chain back with the money

Villagers gather in meena's house and tells choks about the article about their temple in that months magazine. They also inform him about how meena was instrumental in getting sundaramurthi involved in publishing about the temple. meena is happy to note that the article about the temple has been published , but will not take any credit for it, and says she is proud to be his daughter

In the meantime, pandi(the guy who threatened shailus husband) talks to his hench men and narrates the story in the article about pooncholai temple , and says that since the Atha came in dream of the king and helped him, he had built a diamond hand for her, so the same Atha came in his dream last night and asked him to do something about the diamond kai, and his adiyal what does that mean, the adiyal promptly says anna you are saying Atha kaiya lavatannnu solarenga'

very neat episode, excellent acting by all these characters

Just a brief for the last 3 days, as im pressed for time

- Shailu's husband goes to pooncholai village posing as a reporter and takes along a camera man with him to find out about the temple locations & loot

- HE goes to meena's house and see's siva's photo there and upon inquiry finds out that siva is in the city and he is going to marry meena, now he has his own plot swimming in his mind

- shankaran is in touch with the CID from chennai and reports to him about seeing the temple jewels and he will be on the alert as the day he is waiting for is fast approaching

- meena & her athai's family in 2 seperate screen shots are eagerly awaiting siva's arrival, (wasted scene

- meena is upset and has a conversation with her patti, her patti convinces her pasttime missing her husand during Adi masam & her & her husbands thiruvilayadal

- AT night meenu is in the mottai madi, and siva comes from behind and touches her. he then tells her a story about how meena wanted to be the first one to see her, (thollula kaiya pottu pesiran...) so he came and waited for her

he then inquires about meenu's health etc, and she replies back to every question, by essentially saying that she is always thinking about him. meenu also says that she is so much in love with him, siva tells her tht he was just teasing her, siva says that she shouldnotbehave like an oridnary girl, as ithas been decided that they are made for each other. She shouldnot cry, siva then tells her how it is better to enjoy the sweet pleasures by hanging out before their marriage. finally siva meets the , meenu is really sweet

bhumas(the girl who is getting treated and about whom choks is paying muniya) mom comes to oh i forgot the name, the lady who doe snot want to take any money from choks, and her husband is a fraud and basically she is sivas' dad's sister, and is starving and gets fed and sleeps there

in the morning when the daughter wakes up that lady is gone, she asks her mom aboutthe lady from last night. she asks her mom who she is. she asks her mom why that lady is against meena's dad. her mom says that she andthayamma are the affected ones, and she is alive only to bring chokalingams' dhrogam in front of the world. her moms ends up crying

siva is painting the grammam red with meenu, and everyone he meets asks himwhen he isgoing to tie the knot. siva promises one day it will happen. then he goes to do adipradhak-shinam along with meena as it is a surpirse

diwakar who came to village in the first episode and asks for meenus hand, is now introduced to siva. meena tells siva about how diwa wnated tomarry her , siva asks her if diwa is his villain, meena says diwa is a great guys, siva then asks her if he is the villain, she says no you are my hero,siva has shades of green in his face, then both go to the temple kulam and meet diwa

then meena thanks him and then asks himthat since he is an IAS officer, hope he does not stop the bridge buildng in their village. diwa gives her hope that he wont ever stop such things, but he has to check the formalities and then do the needful . siva then tells diwa that they will meet again, diwa is thinking

january 24, wednesday

Saroja's daughter Rama is studying. Saroja asks her to go and have fun in the village thiru vizha. Rama asks her mom also to come with her. Saroja tells," Because of all the injustice done to me...I am not able to forget anything and takepart in any festivals too. But you are young and please go and be happy amma" But Rama refuses. Sarathy is reading some book, listening to this conversation.

Ponnamma and her husband come to Saroja's house. They give dhothi, saree to Saroja.They tell that they made a vow to give thaanam to 10 family. Sarathy asks them whether that gifts are really from them or from Saroja's Anni. Ponnamma agrees that it was given by her Anni.Saroja returns all those stuff to them. Sarathy says that he went to their house to borrow money and saw her anni giving these stuff to them.Saroja cries so botterly.

Paro asks her dad to accompany her to visit Shailaja in the hospital. Shilaja is happy to see Paro. Paro gives Shilu the sweet pongal she made. They discuss about some general stuff. Mean time Shilu's husband comes in to the room and screams at her. Shailu shouts at him for sending some gundas to threaten her. Next time if he does the same Shiva will take action against him. He asks who is SHiva to do that. Shailu says that Shiva is her well wisher and care taker. Paro is touched hearing this. Shilu's husband takes some money from her hand bag and leaves. Paro consoles Shilu. Shilu says that she is scared to work in the hospital alone. Paro promises to her that her dad will come and be with her from next day. Paro and her dad leave.Shilu sits and cries.
