wow thats super quick the serial has ended. The loose ends god the director has made a soppal.

You mean it ended, just like that? But what happened? Someone please give an update of the final episode!!!

June 15 (Fri):

Episode 204....................SURYA HAS ENDED(FINISHED!)

Ram begs forgiveness from surya and Ravi. Ravi goes to Ram and tells his it is okay and if he himself was in that situation, he would have done the same. Ravi goes to Surya and tells her to go with Ram to his house as his mom is ill. At first Surya refuses but relents when Ravi talks to her and make her see reason.

Ram, Surya, Raji and Kuttyamma arrive at Ram's house and Kuttyamma runs in and tells her grandparnts that 'amma' has come home. At first Ram's mom is angry with Surya but later calms down after Surya tells her she will not leave her thereafter. She then gives mediacation to her 'MIL' and she takes it.

Ram and Surya talk outside. Ram tells her he is worried about Sneha and Surya asks him why he let Sneha marry Deena when he knows all about him. Ram tells her that sneha would not listen to anyone because she believed that Deena is good and the marriage between Sneha-Deena was an accident. Ram then asks why Ravi is late. Surya tells him that is because, Ravi has to meet the officers in the Bangalore Police Station and get over with formalities before coming. Just then Ravi arrives and they leave.

Sneha is shown sitting on the bed all tied up. She tries to fee herself and is successful. She gets of the bed and opens the door and see Deena and a girl enter (the girls is Sneha's friend who was approached by Deena in the room when they visited Shena!). Deena pushes Sneha inside and tells her she cannot escape. He then shows the girls to Sneha and says she is now his friend and that Sneha has to cook for them and he will feed the girl. Sneha shouts at both of them but Deena pushes Sneha ont he bed and tries to stranggle her.

In the meantime Ravi, Ram, surya and the police arrive at Deena's house and go in. The are just in time and stop Deena strangling Sneha. Deena is surprised to see Ravi. Ravi tells Deena to move away from Sneha or he will shoot. Deena takes a knive and points at Sneha's throat and threatens to kill her. Seeing this, Ram snatches the gun from Ravi and shoots Deena twice and kills him. Everyone is shocked. Sneha runs to her brother. Ravi tells Surya to take Sneha home.

Ravi and the Bangalore police bring Ram home, Kuttyamma, Ram's father, Sneha and Surya meet him. Ram apologizes to everyone and thanks surya for helping them. He tells her not to worry as in time his mom will accept that Surya is not Indu and everything will be alright. Surya tells Ram not to worry and that she will take care of Indu until he comes back. The police take Ram away. Indu is left in the arms of Ravi and Surya and receives a kiss from both of them. MEENDUM SANTHIPOM!

Although I feel that the serial has ended abruptly, the directors have done a good job in not dragging this serial like the others with mundane tracks.

I still have these questions:

What happened to these characters?
1)Paramasivan and his sister.
2)Surya's other sister and her in-laws.
3)Surya's friend (hand-in-hand) with Swarna to destroy Surya.

😲 😲 Surya has ended??? It is really a big surprise for me, thank God they ended it. 😃 I didnt like the story after Surya ended up in Bangalore.

Thanks Pat for your wonderful updates, and Atina before that. I can't believe they ended the serial just like that. Like you said, there were so many unresolved threads. I thought they were going to pair Ram up with Raji after she finds out about her husband and sister-in-law's true nature. At least Surya is reunited with Ravi and Deena is killed. So Nandhini is just going to let Swarna have her husband and son? Very noble of her, I'm sure but I don't think it was a good resolution to that subplot. And the many new characters they introduced without any resolution to them either. And forget about Archana and her in-laws, I want to know where Suji is and what happened to her plot to marry Ram?

Clearly the director intended this serial to go on for a much longer time. And he could have done it well with the interesting subplots but instead of developing those he just bored us by dragging the main Surya/Indu transformation. Really would Deena give Indhu so many shock treatments knowing full well that it transforms back into Surya?

Someone must give the director a proper reproach - why did he end the serial in just one episode!!! Did he lose the funding or something? Even if he had to end it so quickly, he could at least have done a better job. "Penn" also ended rapidly but at least CJ Baskar did a better job by resolving most of the threads in the final 2 episodes. (I loved "Penn", Seetha and Meera particularly and was most disappointed it came to a hasty conclusion)

Oh well, that's enough ranting. I suppose apart from the updaters here, I should also sound out my appreciation to the cast and crew of "Surya" - they did do a good job overall.

Thank you everyone for your appreciation. It is fun to update, especially when it makes others happy.
