Muhurtam Archives -May 2007

Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay in updating. Had to study and to sit for final. Just came back from college. Also being my daughter's birthday - kind of busy. Anyway, here's the update:

May 2 (Wed):

Ethiraaj's daughters return from college and meet Devi at the entrance. They then see their father and ask where is Saro. Devi tells them that she is in the back. They go meet her and ask about her health. Saro keeps quiet and the girls persist. Saro shouts at them and tells them not to disturb her and chases them from there. The girls get upset and go upstairs. Ethiraaj sees them crying and ask what happened but the girls tell him nothing and leave. Devi asks wh Saro is angry with the girls and Saro tells her to mind her own business. Suppiah's daughter comes there to ask premission to go see her father and gets shouted at too. Devi tells her she will ask Ethiraaj for her. Devi goes in and tells Ethiraaj about the other maid wanting to visit her father and that she too wants to go and see him. Ethiraaj agrees and tells her to ask Gopi for some money and give to the maid for expenses.

Suja's father is very angry at Rukku because he thinks Rukku has fooled him. Suja comes there and asks what happened and he relate the entire incident. He also says that Gopal has to be Rukku's husbad and that Rukku is trying to fool everyone. He also tells Suja not to interfere but to observe what is happening. Suja's mom says that Jeeva and Gopal could have found out about the visiting card nd called Kalidas and informed im and in return Kaidas could have got someone to impersonate Gopal. Suja's father would not listn to it an tells his daughter not to get involve.

Devi and Sippiah's SIL come to the hospital to visit Suppiah. Nobody is there and they ask th nurse if anyoneis there. They are told that RS' sister has gone to the pharmacy to get medication and would be back soon. Both Devi and Suppiah's SIL enter and when Devi sees Suppiah she feels that she has seen and know him well. She gets severe headache and tells the SIL that she feels she knows Suppiah from before but SIL says that she ould have seen him in temples. Devi says that she feels that he has been in her house. She then goes outside and is swaying due to her headache. Attai is coming towards her with some medication and Devi feels faint and sits down on the chair. Attai turns around and is shocked to see. THODARUM.

May 3 (Thurs):

Devi sits on the chair as she feels faint and is seen by Attai, only she doesn't see her face! A nurse comes and attai tells the nurse to take care of the girls and goes in to theroom to see Suppiah. She asks if he is alone but SIL says that another lady came with him and he tells about Devi thinking she has seen Suppiah before. Attai asks for her name and is told Devi. Attai leave the matter and takes care of Suppiah.

Janani is cooking, Babu comes there and ask about Giri. Janani gets angry and tell Babu not to mention about Giri to her. Babu instigates Janani more and Janani leaves the kitchen angrily. Babu later tells Gowri that he will not let Janani and Giri to reconcile ever and that he will work towards getting all the sothu for themselves.

Saro is sitting down thinking. Gopi comes to her and asks why she was rude to his sisters. He also says his sisters have not eaten since they came and they are upset about Saro being angry with them. Saro asks just because it is his sisters not having a meal he is concerned but what about the poor kuppam makkal who were thrown out of their homes and who are now sufferring because of them. Gopi gets angry and tries to say that his father nor him had anything to do with it but Saro goes on to blame them. Gopi raises his hand but is stopped by paati. She tells him to stop raising his hands on his wife and to leave from there. Gopi tells paati not to interfere in this family matters and tells Saro to leave the house if she can't tolerate them but no matter what happens he will not leave his father.

Kalidas, Gopal and Jeeva are discussing about th previous days events. Kalidas explains that the man pretening to be Gopal is a Sub-inspector who worked under him and is a good man. Gopal and Jeeva thank him for his immeidate actions otherwise they would have been exposes and Jeeva would have got into trouble. Jeeva then says that all their plans to get Rukku out has failed so far and she is afraid that she will not be able to get her out. Then Kalidas comes out with some plan - muted dialogs. Gopal and Jeeva leave happily and Kalidas is all smiles.

A car arrives at RS house and DEEPAK has returned. 👏Sneha immediately comes out and asks how he is. eepak says he is fine and asks about Suppiah. Sneha gets angry that Deepak is not concerned about her but is very concerned about a servant. Deepak gets anry with her and tells her that she may think of Suppiah as a servant but he doesn't and tells Sneha that she is nto changed. He goes in and Attai and RS are happy to see him. Suppiah is discharged from the hospital and is in their guest house and being cared for by his daughter. Deepak sees Suppiah and is very sad and promises to find the culprits. They come back to the house and Deepak asks if Suppiah has any enemies. RS says that Kalidas has questioned Divakar. Deepak asks Sneha about Divakar but Sneha says she doesn't know anything. She goes on and on about what a good person Suppiah is and that they should find out and punish the person who did this now matter who they are. Deepak is observing Sneha's expressions and says he will definitely find out. Screen freezes on Sneha's troubled face.

Note: I just love to see they way Deepak taunts Sneha with his suspicions. Watch out Sneha - your are on the way down the cliff! And Deepak please start your sleuthing immediately - its so much fun to watch!

May 4 (Fri):

Ramaiah and Ethiraaj are talking. Devi comes by and asks Ethiraaj if he is ready for his food. Ethiraaj asks her if his daughters have eaten and is told not yet. Devi then calls his daughters down and Ethiraaj asks them to eat. They say they are not hungry and they want to go back to the college because they are not happy there. They then ask what happened to their SIL. Ethiraaj tells them that as she is pregnant she is having her mood swings and tries to pacify them.

Saro is sitting alone and Devi brings some milk with safron in it. Saro sees it and asks what it is and Devi says it is safron and Gopi had brought it for her. Saro says why should Gopi be so thoughtful for a baby which is not even theirs and that is to be given away. Gopi who is hearing all this gets angry and an argument (as usual ensues). Devi tells Saro that once the baby is born Saro will surely change her mind as a mother would never be able to give away her child let alone the first born.

Gopal and Jeeva are talking and Gopal asks if he can tell the rest of the family his decision and Jeeva says to do it immediately and asks her to get Rukku while he goes and talk to Kalyani and the others. Rukku and Sudha are talking and Jeeva comes there and asks Rukku to come as Kalyani is calling her. When Rukku goes to the living, Kalayani says it was Gopal who called her and asks Gopal what it is about. Gopal says that he is going to Kasi and Rameshwaram and wants Rukku to follow him. Rukku says he is not even her husband and why would she want to follow him. Ganapathy also says that he cannot allow Rukku to go with Gopal as they are not sure who he is. Kalayani tells Rukku to get ready to leave with Gopal and asks Jeeva to get stuff ready for Rukku's and Gopal's departure. Rukku is shocked and is unable to say anything. THODARUM.
