Brief story for Monday and today.

-- Monday story was about Shan remaining in Nachiarpuram to meet tulasi who comes back from chennai. Shan aaccuses her of avoiding him deliberately..Now during the talk, saras suddenly comes and accuses tulasi of telling bad things about her to shan.
Never ending same arguements heard before again repeated. Tulasi telling shan to go back and finally shan agrees to go provided tulais also comes with him. So they go back. Tulasi's parents start to tell the truth but are stopped by tulasi.

-- Today, shan talks to poo and says it is better for you to understand that I have deep affection towards tulasi and so I need some more time to make my mind accept you in the normal way.

--Shiva/amala go for job interviews arranged by amala's friend and are selected. But amala's offer is more than shiva and so he is unhappy.
--Poo tells tulasi that shan's mind is full of tulasi and she says it is difficult for her to be a wife to such a person. Tulasi says outwardly to her that she can't do anything in this matter but later starts crying and decides to do one more sacrifice--make shan hate her so that he can be turned towards Poo.
She touches her stomach and hope her child at least will be able to understand her agony (self inflicted)

Too pathetic and unrealistic story--what do you all think??

No tulasi today and so no need to see her tears.

Sharada/sundari and family waiting for the judgement on Ashok's bail application. Ramesh/Ganesh have gone to the court and everyone is awaiting word from them. Sharada says she is nervous whether because of the recent murder attempt in the jail, that fellow might gain bail. She hopes that Ashok will be in jail for ever.
Now both the brothers come in with a sad face and Ramesh goes inside without talking anything.Ganesh tells them that the bail has been granted and everyone is shocked.
Ganesh tells the story and says after the bail was granted, a jubilant Pandi threatened Ramesh and told him that he is leaving him only because Ashok got the bail. Ramesh's lawyer comes and says the defence lawyer pointed out the jai murder attempt and said that there is some other people involved in the whole case and twisted the matter. Also Ashok recanted the earlier confessions made and the 2 witnesses also became hostile. Hence Ashok got the bail but we will pursue the case strongly now,he tells Ramesh.
Sharada tells Vidya to ensure that Ramesh does not do anything foolish in an aggressive way as a reaction.

Ramesh is very disappointed and sits in his room and is consoled by Vidya. She says God wil punish Ashok. Ramesh secretly hopes that he will be the 'God" to punish Ashok.

DSP Perumal sami and family in sivan temple and when they are making the rounds, Linga's gang follow them and decide to kidnap the wife/daughter and then to take out DSP when he comes to theiir location. They decide it is too risky to do anything in the temple complex.
They are immediately abducted and DSP searches here and there and ses them at the entrance being forced into the vehicle. Now he does a nbig blunder. He does not call up police for reinforcements and does not arreange to block their path.(Oh,too much to expect!).
Instead he takes a bike and chases them alone. In the middle, he tries to make a call to SP but can't speak as the call does not get through. Finally he sees the vehicle in a empty area and sees his wife/daughter. In front of his family, DSP is knifed by a gang member. DSP recognises him as Linga's man. DSP is left bleeding by Linga's men who leave the spot.Seeing her husband in a pool of blood, Perumal sami's wife collapses. The daughter is left crying.

SP tries again for sami and Sami's daughter answers the mobile and tells him the shock news. SP makes arrangements for police to come to the spot.

SP arrives there and Sami's body is covered up. SP is told that Sami's wife is in shock in hospital. He consoles Sami's daughter and then remembers what Sami had earlier told him that Linga's gang is out in the city and may even kill him.

Nothing exciting happened today

SP takes perumalsami's daughter to the police station
He blames Linga for perumalsami's death & some boring dialogues
He also kicks Linga badly in the hip and face(who looks like a sethapAmbu anyway)
All this happens in front of the little girl (they should probably telecast in the beginning of the episode not suitable for children & people who haven't lost it yet..)


Shanmugam meets SP, who requests shamugam & tulasi to come and file a case against linga, since perumalsami got killed as he helped tulasi/shanmugam(didn't linga & perumalsami have some ancient issues to settle??, before tulasi arrive)
Any SP has some not so convincing dialogues, but shanmugam kind of falls for this & says he will discuss with tulasi


Poo's sets up the table with all her preps for shanugam, saras is all gaga about it
Tulasi is already in a corner making garland
Poo taunts tulasi about how without asking anyone she made all of shan's favorite
Shanmugam arrives, refuses to eat as he has an upset stomach, poo gets upset and leaves
Shanmugam goes to tulasi's room, and narrates about perumalsami
He asks if tulasi ate, she says no, & she takes him to serve him food
Poo comes out of her room like a badrakAli & both shan & tulasi are scared

Kind of liked tulasi & shan together in the end

Update for Wed Jan 31-2007

Mostly trash episode for the 1st 2 parts and only the last part was better.

The expected sakkalathi fight continues unabated. Tulasi wants to serve food (prepared by poo) to shan. Poo objects. Tulasi cries loudly and now poo takes over charge of giving food. Still shan did not get any food. Now tulasi sits near shan and tells poo to give food to both shan and herself. Poo gets horrified and another fight with everyone joining in and finally shan runs away in disgust without any food.

Poo comes to tulasi next day and asks why she is behaving like this. Tulasi says if Poo has understood the things, she should pack up and go the way she came.
After she leaves, Tulasi as usual starts crying and holds her head and says I am doing like this for your good only. (I think the audience also has to hold their head for seeing such scenes)

Linga gets bail and is released. His joy is cut short when he is again arrested with his gang on a 20 year old ganja case. He threatens the supdt of police.

Now comes the interesting part--Shiva comes to amala's house with mallipoo+halwa+desire in his eyes and knocks and he is shocked to see the woman who opened the door--the maid servant who was earlier engaged by Revathi and later given the boot by Shiv.
She asks him what he wants and he asks her why she is here. He asks for amala and she says amala is in bathroom. Now instead of running away, he moves out slowly but Amala comes out and calls for him. She introduces Shiva as her husband to the other woman.

Fear on shiva's face and shock on other woman's face.
