Malargal Update for Monday, August 14th, 2006

Scene I
Linga, Linga, LingaLingaLinga' s house

Tulasi is given 5 minutes to try to escape from the house. She is
made to run here and there (paavam...director must have thought she
needed to lose some weight). Around every corner and turn is an
aDiyaaL with some kind of knife/blade to show her. She finally makes
it out to the gate, but there are 3 more fellows waiting. She is
defeated. Linga calls to her from a balcony of the house. She goes
back into the bedroom where Linga tells her that she cannot go
anywhere, and she should just give in. He tells her to have dinner
and be ready for him. Tulasi sobs uncontrollably.

Scene II
Vidya's House

Sivagami is reassuring Vidya and Vidya is reassuring Sivagami. Vidya
tells her mother she's confident of being able to change her MIL's
opinion of her. She asks Sivagami to somehow convince her father to
leave before Ramesh's mom and co return from the store. Sivagami and
Vidya bring NK coffee and Vidya tries to make her father
leave...Mallika' s house is far away and they should leave now, etc.
NK doesn't budge. He tells Vidya it's only proper that they stay
until Vidya's MIL comes back home. As expected, MIL, Chittappa and
family arrive. Upon seeing NK and SK, Chitti makes some snide remark
about Vidya taking the opportunity of their being gone to immediately
call her parents. NK protests and says that they just arrived by
chance, and good thing they did...poor Vidya, gramam belle shouldn't
have been left home alone...if they'd taken her along, she wouldn't
have been attacked by the goondas. Chitti makes some more choice
remarks. SK asks how they can speak so callously about Vidya, to
which MIL launches into a tirade of her own about how she only
brought Vidya into the home for Ramesh's sake, and any connection
with the rest of the household doesn't exist. She asks them to
leave. SK speaks up and tells them that all this time they thought
Vidya was happy, and now they know the truth. NK and SK, totally
dejected, exit. Ramesh arrives back home as they are leaving with
heads down. He asks if his mother said anything offensive. SK says
no, it was just a bad time. Ramesh goes back inside and asks his
mother if she said anything to NK/SK. Mom gets angry with him and
says just because Vidya is in the home, her family better not use
that as an excuse to come to the home.

Scene III
Bhaskar's House

Bhaskar outside with the baby when NK/SK walk up the stairs. Bhaskar
is surprised to see them. NK asks Bhaskar why he created a stink
when they specifically told him to be calm and adjusting. Bhaskar
storms into the house and asks his FIL if there's any respect for him
in the house at all. FIL asks him what the problem is. Bhaskar
asks FIL how he could call his parents without telling him. NK
reiterates that he's just trying to iron out the problem before it
gets worse. Bhaskar tells his parents they don't know half the
things that have been happening. SK asks Mallika why she doesn't
want to stay with Revathi...after all, they were together in
Nachiarpuram. mallika is silent. Bhaskar tells his mother not to
bother saying anything, because, according to everyone in the house,
SK is responsible for creating all the problems and instigating
Bhaskar. SK is shocked. Mallika's father tells NK that he had
consulted a joshiar, who indicated that it would be best for Bhaskar
and Mallika to live separately for a short time. Bhaskar tells his
FIL that if his parents had paid so much attention to jadaghams, his
daughter would never have gotten married at all, and would have been
relegated to some corner. Mallika's mom (who was stewing all this
time) finally explodes and asks if Bhaskar is trying to say hurtful
things. NK gets angry and almost slaps Bhaskar. SK intervenes,
still angry that Mallika and her mom have been blaming everything on
her. NK tells Bhaskar if it will prevent things from growing more
serious, they should separate for a while. They prepare to take
leave. Suddenly, Mallika's mom offers to make tiffin for them (she
is happy that they agreed to a separation). NK and Sk decline and
depart. They tell Bhaskar to stay in Mallika's home until he and
Siva find a new place.

Update for Wed Aug 16-2006

Part-1

NK and wife come to Indira's house and the servant says everyone has gone out. They leave their telephone number with the servant and come out.

Sivagami tells NK that she is distressed about the condition of their children.She says she thought Vidya was ok but after seeing the actual status, she is very upset. NK says things will become ok soon. We will leave it to God,he says.

Tulasi is sitting in Linga's house and is asked to take food by Linga's wife. She angrily refuses saying she does not know whom to trust. She says the other lady turned out to be so bad and tried to sell her and so how do I know that you are a sincere person, she asks her. Also your husband is behaving like this to me and how you being his wife is keeping quiet. Linga's wife says so far he was behaving like this with bad women only and this is the first time he is doing this with a good lady like you and she says she does not know the exact reason. Also she says she is bearing all this because of her children. She says she can say in front of ezhumalaiyan that she is sincere in what she is talking. Also she will try to help Tulasi escape from this place. Now all this is heard by Linga who has come there with his gang and he proceeds to bash up his wife with a big stick (more like a karlaa kattai) . Calling her ungrateful, he now half strangles her and says you are fit to die. Her children come near her and start crying. Tulasi pleads with him but he says she has only 5 minutes to die and starts the count down the time.. He then tells Tulasi that if she is willing to marry him, then he will allow his wife to be taken to hospital. He tells his gang that they shd say that she has fallen from staircase. Finally Tulasi says "yes" to him despite Linga's wife telling her not to agree and Linga allows his wife to be taken to hospital. He tells Tulasi that she might have told like this out of anxiety and so shd rather think deeply and tell tomorrow.He says he will try to find a auspicious date for marriage.



Part-2



Bhaskar packing his things. His FIL comes and tells him not to go today as it is not a good day and he can rather leave tomorrow. Bhaskar says anyway he has decide to leav and so he does not care about the day particularly. He now comes to Malliga and tells her that earlier he was ready to go wherever she wanted him to come and do whatever she asked. Now as she refuses to come with him to be with Siva, he has decided to go there alone. He says he does not feel bad about being absent from her but he feels bad about being separated from his son. His FIL tells him that he can come whenever he wants to see his son.

After he leaves, Malliga fears whether this absence might be a permanent one. Her father says this is a short absence and you two might understand each other better. Her mother says even if he does not want to come back, your child will make him come to you..



Part-3



Inspector in Sharada's house and questioning her about the chain snatch incident. Sharada does not respond at al;l and Sundari says they did not complain and he should rather ask the people who complained. The inspector tells sarcastically that even the neighbors were talking in an better way about this where as you people are keeping mum.Now Ramesh comes in with Vidya and apologises to inspector saying that as his wife was not feeling well after the incident,he took her to doctor. Inspector says he has got the idea about the whole incident and he will make all efforts to get the culprits. He also tells Ramesh that your mother did not talk anything about this and it was very strange.

After he leaves, Sharada angrily tells Ramesh that she brought vidya here only to keep him happy but she did not want to have anything to do with her. But with the way things are going, Vidya is doing something or other to get her more involved and she does not like this. It is better , she says, if you two move out separately. Ramesh's brother tries to come to his defence but Sharada tells him to keep quiet.

Ramesh/vidya go up to their room and Vidya says (more screechy than normal) she is not doing anything wrong and why should her MIL behave like this. Ramesh now says the person responsible for all this is Ashok because he killed father and he is the root cause of all these troubles and we will somehow make these things ok.

On hearing Ashok's name, Vidya looks very upset.

Scene 1 - Thulsi,Linga & Co

Linga's children inform thulsi that their mom wants to see her. A very upset thulsi, goes and visits L's wife. L's wife tells thulsi that if only thulsi was not there yesterday, she would have been history by now. Thulsi cries & says that she feels terrible for commiting to getting married to Lingam, in the spur of the moment. Thusi says that she does not know how she is going to live anymore & how she would face shanmugam. L's wife says that even when your life is in danger you tried to save mine, you have a big heart. L's wife tells thulsi, not to worry and at any cost, she will get thulsi out of her house unharmed. As always, ling's makes a quick entry and says that he thinks that everyday we live is a good day & has got some sarees for thulsi to wear & he wants to get married to her as soon as possible. He says once thulsi is married to him, she will forget her mAms. He leaves the room singing, happy indru mudhal happy.

SCene 2 - NK's house
Meenakshi takes off for school checking on what kuzhambu has been made for lunch. Karpagam says it is vAthakuzhambu, hearing this sivagamy cries as thulsi likes that kuzhambu & NK & revathy console her, NK then calls shanmugams house & inquires if there is any information about thulasi. Shanmugam's dad says that no news so far & he explains how thulasi's disappearance is making his son go crazy. NK consoles shanmugam's father, & keeps the phone. NK tells sivagamy that there is no news about thulsi so far, but he feels sorry for sambandhi also, as shanmugam seems to be down and out also. NK finishes by saying that if only thulsi was sensible, not to leave such a good husand. NK tellsasks moorthy to go and stay with shanmugam for 4 days, and take care of shanmugam, moorthy agrees. NK asks him to adjust even if saras speaks sarcastically.

Scene 3 - Siva & bhaskar
AFter avoiding siva's call for sometime, amlu calls siva & talks, & says that since her father is away, he can come home to meet her. AS siva is leaving, bhaskar comes and states that he is going to stay with him, as he has issues with mallika. A fellow room person comes to borrow paste & says that atleast bhaskar has only one wife, he has two & since he cannt put up with the, he is here at the mansion, this conversation distrubs siva & he decides not to go.

Scene 4 - Appalam place in Andhra
At sharada's house 2 men come to collect appalam. One is checking on the balances, while the other(driver mani, who has been taught driving by shanmugam) goes inside with another girl to check on thenumber of boxes to load. There he keeps talking to the girl and asks for an extra bag for some unpacked appalam. The girl find thulsi's bag and unloads it, the driver person finds shan's & thulsis photo and inquires how she got this photo. The girl explains about how poor thulsi was brought and sold here, but she is not here as she had been moved now. Before he could find the new place, sharadha walks in the driver & friend leave in the pretext of checking or calling someone, & go out to call shanmugam. Sharadha is looking

Update for Wed Aug 23-2006


All action today as expected in Andhra –gripping as well as lots of peela!


Swarna catches tulasi as she is about to telephone home. She drags her to her car saying she wants to send her to Singapore and take her away from Linga. Everyone watches the scene on the road and when they are about to enter the car, Tulasi bites her hand and runs away.

Now starts the running scenes and the episode is full of that—Tulasi from one side,Linga and his goondas from other direction and Shan/moorthy running away from Linga and trying to find tulasi..

Shan/moorthy comes to Linga's home and meet Linga's wife who tells them what happened and that tu;lasi is in the back of the car. When they leave, they are caught by Linga's men but they attack them back and force their way out.

Linga calls home and finds that Tulasi is not at home. He comes home and his men say they were beaten up by Shan/moorthy. He goes in and his wife/children come to his room. He sends the children outside the room and locks it. He goes to his terrified ife and strangles her and asks her where is Tulasi. Finally she says tulasi has escaped in the back of their car. Linga calls his men in the car and they check the car and find tulasi missing. Now Linga strangles his wife again and pushes her towards the wall and comes out in anger.

His men now go on the road and force all the people indoors and tell that if a murder or anything happens, they should not open their mouth. Now the streets are deserted and the chasing starts again. Linga catches Tulasi but she runs away again. She seeks refuge in a temple and is near a Hanuman idol and shan/moorthy also are near the idol praying silently so that they miss each other. In the meanwhile, Tulais hears Linga calling out for her husband/brother and so she is happy that they are in the vicinity.somewhere.



Finally, she is seen hidden near a old demolished structure and Shan/moorthy are alos nearby and Linga holds a gun on his man and shouts to tulasi that he is holding her husband instead and says he will count 1,2,3 and then he will shoot her husband.

On the count reaching 3, Tulasi falls for the trick and starts to come out.

Linga counts 1,2 & when he utters 3, shanmugam screams out to thulasi, not to come out, but to escape, thulsi follows accordingly, & then the charade begins once again, with thulsi, shans, & moorthy crossing one another,linga & co trying to track them. Finally Moorthy finds swarna dragging thulsi, comes to thulsi's rescue & asks her to run away, while he beats sharadha with a big log. Tulsi takes off and unites with shanmugam,while they are having a emotional moment, moorthy asks them to take off before they get caught. The trio, run over the railway track, and spot lingum and his men on the other side, so they turn and run the other way, when lingum tries to follow a train comes in between. By the time the train passes, shans & co get a ride in a lorry. Thuls says sorry to shans, shans first slaps her & then goes down memory lane as to what he went through when she ran away, and finally they both end up crying, one consoling the other.

Kadhir, kavitha & prabha meet at a restaurant. Kadhir is happy to know kavi's decision, to stick with him. They discuss about how they will get permission from her mother. Kavi is ready to elope with kadhir, but kadhir wants to get married with everyone's blessings. Kavi gives kadhir a card, as it happens to be his birthday. She promises to go to his house the following day and take care of him the entire day, as that will be his gift. Kadhir offers to drop them home, in the meanwhile kavi's mom calls her daughter puppy & husband to tell them about NK's visit & how he has given a good certificate about kadhir. The mapillai crackpot stands his ground & irritates the heck out of me, so not covering the dialogues. Anyway as he is leaving, kadhir drops the two gals outside, luckily before he spots them prabha spots mams and sends kadhir away. The sisters fear that mams would have brainwashed their mom, but kavi says that she is adamant about going to nachiarpuram to meet kadhir the next day

Lingam is with his henchman, and inquiring about Thulsi & swarna. The adiyals say that only swarna knows about thulsi's whereabout and the doctors say that it will take 3-4 days for swarna to regain conciousness. Linga wants to be the first person she sees when she regains conciousness, & will find thulsi's whereabouts and get married to her, and go paint the town red with thulsi along his side.

Wish it is not my turn to update, whenever the sick episode airs, when lingam actually hunts down thulsi, & thulsi again becomes AVAL for saras mouth.

I am trying brief update of 25th,,
Puppy's husband want kavi to take puppy to hospital and she is all set to meet kathir and finally prabha agreed to take puppy to hospital..
shanmugam get promise from thulasi that she has to tell she stayed in ashram only for this last days..
thulasi & co spoke to natchiarpuram and they are scolding her first..
shanmugam tells his mama that they are coming their first.. but he asks them to goto his home first..
then thulasi's mother worry about her future thinking about her mother in law..
thulasi&co reach their home in kanchipuram and they all get down from auto.. thulasi's mother in law ask her to stop at the entrance...
