Updaters, Volunteers & Readers

Hi Updaters,

All the updaters are doing great work here. If anyone has problems like you are busy and can not do update on a regular basis...please post your message here and some vounteer will take over. So anyone who are interested in doing updates...either on a regular basis or ...would like to give the exhisting updaters a helping hand please post your message here or send a pm to me.

I need help from all the updaters for making archive pages for all the serials. Some one from each serial thread should start doing the archive pages. Please start doing and save it in your PC. Do not send it to me. When everything changes here then I will ask you all, to send. Then you have to send it to me without wasting much time.

I did for a week for some pages of Bandham thread for you as a sample. For older serials it is going to take longer time to do this.

Anandam is already done by Sudasri until May 2006. So anyone doing please do from June 2006. Same rule goes to the other threads too. (If at all anything is done already)

One of you take charge of doing this and start posting in your thread. If you want you can ask the regular readers to do it for certain period. For example you choose 4 or 5 buddies for your thread and tell them to do archive pages for a month. So you will easily get for 4 or 5 months......and so on. Pease start organizing yourself and divide the work among your buddies and have fun too!!!! Hope I made my point clear.

If you have any doubt about this...please post here......and also after reading any volunteers to do this please go to that particular thread and post it to announce that you are willing to do.......and also post here....so that everyone will know.........( post only your willingness....not the archives page.....just save and keep it with you) with the period you would be able to do.

Please visit one of the hindi serial page ( I chose Kasam Se ) sothat you will have some kind of idea how our pages are going to be. If everything goes as I suggested to Sree then each serial will have its own page or Two serials will share one page. Let us keep our fingers crossed. Hopefully Sree will contact me soon.

Well atina your ideas are in the right direction and I appreciate that.

Also you need to decide whether you are going to archive all the sticky threads or not--I mean how on what basis you are going to archive threads other than serials.

And I suggest that the volunteers for various serials archiving should be mentioned here rather than in the respective threads because it will be a hassle to search in everyone of the threads. Also you can see all the volunteers details in one thread itself.

Your idea is good, Atina. Agree with Dasa about mentioning volunteers for various serials archiving here instead of in the serial thread. It will be much more easy for everyone.

Thanks Meli and dasa....my buddies ( by all means) About the volunteers mentioneing here and there.....Thanks for pointing out about my vague sentences. In fact that is what I wanted.....However I edited abobe...see the green thingy above.....

As I mentioned in the Anandham forum, I will create the archive for the updates in the Anandham thread.

I can take care of Saradha. If anyone else wants to volunteer its ok with me.

I will help with Kasturi serial.

The Anandham archive is complete. I have created an excel sheet with the page numbers(with links to the relevant page) for the updates of each month from June 2006 to till-date.

I will also do for the threads Bandham and Surya. Hopefully today or tomorrow.
