I also have not watched this serial for 2 months or so. Resumed a week before. I will update whatever I have seen.

GJ's sister (Devi Priya) makes trick to get him married (second marriage as Saritha who is his first wife is on coma) to a girl who has Sevvai Dhosham, assuming that it will create harm or death to her brother and she can enjoy the whole wealth. GJ overhears her conversation with her husband and due to circumstances (I didnt see what circumstance) marries Selvi.
On the other hand, Selvi's engagement has happened in the past while she is with her family in SriLanka with a guy called Priyan, and they both are in love. Later he went missing after which everyone believed that he is dead. For this reason, selvi didnt want to marry anyone else but anyway the marriage happened with GJ.
GJ tells his sister to go away from his house as she is a nasty girl and can do anything. She faints and doctor says she is conveived. Ha!!! Now the twist.She pretends to have changed and confesses to Selvi.She is staying back there.But, her husband (Kavithalaya Krishna) goes to doctor to verify his past medical report which says he cannot become a 'dad'. Doctor says the reports are true and double confirms.He is upset over his wife's character.
Now, Priyan is back into story and Selvi's step mother (Latha) tells him to go back without seeing Selvi as she is set into her married life. She also tells all these story about Priyan and Selvi to GJ and requests him not to tell Selvi that Priyan is back. She invites GJ and Selvi for Maru mazhichi, a custom after marriage.
They go for that. There, GJ and Selvi are shocked to see selvi;s dad all drunk and making mess. He sits with GJ for lunch and pours water/food over him. Selvi and Latha are shocked to see this and looking at GJ's response, episode ends there.

Not any mention-worthy reaction by Selvi's dad's act. The highlight of aug 16th episode is - Devi Priya goes to meet a guy (whose sister she planned to get married to her brother GJ) at a restaurant. She orders a sweet, shares with him the sweet along the news of her pregnancy. A bit of romantic mood/dialogue between them and being watched by her husband, Kavithalaya Krishnan without their knowledge. He is visibly upset and utters no word at home.When his sister-in-law, younger sister of GJ, in an attempt to make him relax talks fun about the expected baby, he yells at her. Devipriya intervenes, and he asks her where she went. On hearing her reply that she went for checkup, he asks with anger "to hospital?" and episode ends there.

I think the catch here is, Devipriya does not know that her husband is impotent.Ah!!! Story heading in a out-of-focus path. Let us see. 😊

Looks like not many people interested in Selvi?!!! Well, let me update the episodes I have watched (I also dont watch everyday as the timing is odd for me. Telecast at 12 midnight in Singapore).

Ranjani (Devipriya) and her boyfriend's sister Maya are planning to destroy(!?) Selvi. Maya is madly in love with GJ (Venu Arvind). Priyan, Selvi's lover, I didnt write ex-lover becoz Selvi is still waiting for him, after having married GJ. And GJ and Selvi are living in that house as husband /wife name-sake. Incidentally Priyan is working as driver at Maya's house and he overhears the plans that Ranjani and Maya makes to kill Selvi by employing a servant maid cum killer in Selvi's house where Ranjani also lives.Priyan sends a letter about this to Selvi which is read by GJ. He fires the servant but didnt tell anything to Selvi about this as he seems to be in love with her and does nt want her to know that her lover is back.

Now, the next drama is Maya and Ranjani sends the servant maid named kanaga to throw egg with acid in it at Selvi and Priyan in an attempt to save gets it on his face and hospitalised.

Ranjani's husband lodges a complaint to police telling about servant. Dont know how the police came to know who is behind, but they enquire Maya which make his brother and father furious. They are angry becoz their daughter Maya's marriage with GJ is stopped by him for unknown reasons and he married Selvi. Also they have lend him some 75 Lakhs to set a Jewellery shop.They go there and demands money back with interest.

Meanwhile, Selvi takes photo of the servant who happened to be in the market.GJ tells her not to go out anymore and not to extend this issue further as he didnt want to be threatened by Maya's group for money.Selvi and Ranjani's husband plans something (hidden to viewers).

Maya's dad tells her to instruct the servant to tell Ranjani's name to police and get rid of this issue. She does and police goes to GJ/Selvi's house to arrest her. The episode ends there.

Looks a long update ...Seems interesting while watching, some scenes are shot in a movie manner. 😊

Well, update so far..

GJ is really afraid that Thamarai will get cured by Selvi's dedicated love and care for her. Selvi does puja and reciting of some mantras as suggested by ayurveda practitioner. Once GJ creates a real fussy scene in front of everyone of the family saying that Selvi's deeds are annoying. Selvi feels that since she is not doing a WIFE's job full, GJ is becoming furious, so she decides to be a real WIFE.

Next day, Selvi goes to temple and did angapradarshanam, puja etc etc..and Thamarai is back to her world. ATLAST!!!!

There is a round of camera shots on everyone's face and eye-eye commn between thamarai and everyone else. Thamarai finally goes to Selvi and she could remember her and hugs her. Good show by Thamarai and Selvi together. 👏

Now, Selvi mother is really worried what wil happen to Selvi and also the wealth and comfort they are enjoying through her.

Oh, one more thing. There is a scene in between which shows that Thamarai has kept her Thaali in her bed. There is a closeup shot of that thaali shown for a minute. May be, the reason will be revealed in coming episodes.

Updates so far...
Thamarai is no more in unconscious state, but can recognise only Selvi and none other. So selvi is trying hard to take to places familiar to her and tries to bring her memory back.Meanwhile, Selvi becomes pregnant and she wants to abort the child. She says to GJ that she married him to take care of Thamarai's children and she doesnt want to have one on her own.Also, she knew how it would be to have 2 families and children from 2 mothers in same house as she had suffered that. Scene freezes there and decision is not yet taken.

Selvi takes Thamarai to her children's school for feeding them lunch.Thamarai says she thought they were selvi's children , and the 2 children were really shocked.

Ranjani who is in outhouse now, comes to visit the house when noone is there. There were lot of things happening in her mind like she has to take revenge, she got to live like a queen etc etc. anyway, now she came to make a phone call before anyone sees her and calls bala. (her boyfriend whom her husband suspects to be the father of the child in her womb). Bala's wife picks up and she keeps the phone silently and leaves. Ranjani's husband sees this and that time, Bala's wife calls back with the number in mobile. Ranjani';s husband picks the phone and says it is a PCO and that was a wrong call made.

Not much interesting scenes anyway..but some story is growing up.. Still more episodes to go to be on track. 😊

Priyan (Selvi's ex-love) is being kidnapped and slapped by Maya's father & Co. He is very weak and goes to a village and asks for water. People get scared to see his face and runs off/closes the door. The girl-friend of Niranjan takes him to their house where Priyan and Niranjan meets. They share what happened so far and Niranjan is shocked to hear the Selvi is married to Thamarai's husband and lots of confusion going on in the family. He goes to meet them in the temple.

In the temple, Selvi and family comes but Priyan sees them from long and didnt meet. GJ's brother sees him and goes home and draws a picture of him. He is shown as an artist, so he drew well. Thamarai's daughter comes and says why dont you draw the face imagining there are no scars or wounds. This inspires his artistic skill and starts to do that.

Thamarai's dad is writing Uyil. He gives a major share to Selvi and also some share to Selvi's mother which noone in the family likes. I also dont understand why he wants to give something to Selvi's mother..Hmmm..

Maya and Ranjani plans to kill Radhika;s yet-to-born baby. Ranjani feels pity and says Selvi anyway plans to abort herself, why should we go and kill. Ranjani is furious, she says it has to happen by her hands. Very villian look on her face.

So far, that is the update. 😊

Ranjani tries to hypnotise (get her into her hold) Thamarai by showing her the wedding photos and telling that Selvi has married her husband, spoiled the family like that. Later Maya arranges a highly qualified (according to her) psychiartist to treat thamarai in her house. With the help of Rajani Thamarai is in Maya's house. However or whatever the doctor asks, the only reply from Thamarai is "Selvi". Ranjani goes pshychic and shouts cant you tell your name also, why are you so obsessed to selvi and yells more blah-blah. Thamarai, surprisingly gets angry and slaps her. When Maya tries to stop, she raises her hand towards her also and shouts, dont lie to me and goes from there.

Now the doctor says, this shows some sign of improvement. Or may be she has already regained the conscious and just acting. This makes ranjani to get scared as she has been lying very obviously to Thamarai assuming she doesnt have any sense of surroundings now.

Well, that is the update so far.

well guru having seen priyan is enamoured by the badly burnt face and sketches him. gj takes a look at the picture and sends guru off to the shop or something. and then paints a beard and mouche to see if it is priyan. and is shocked to see that it is. so he tries to hide the pic when selvi turns up to say that he has a phone call. he makes excuses and asks her to attend the phone call and turns his attention to the painting and tears it to pieces and throws it away

meantime selvi's dad in his drunken state walks over to maya's house and screams at the door. maya asks the security to throw him out. when the security tries to over power the drunk man, ranjani's husband comes that way and takes the drunk home. he talks to selvi about her dad. selvi in anger collects her father and drops him off at a rehab centre.

selvi's mom in the meantime turns up at selvi's home and demands to know where her husband is. she gets melodramatic about how much she worries about him, and how her life has been wasted since the guy started drinking etc. selvi fumes at her mother for turning up all the time in a call taxi etc. gj offers selvi's brother to take one of his cars which is not being used so he drive his mother around. selvi glares at her husband and sends her mother and brother packing.

tamarai's parents turn up at selvi's mom's house and give her the papers to their adayar house. selvi's youngest sister bitches about the deed while artfully snubbing tamarai's parents. when selvi's mom hears that tamarai's parents are going to selvi's house, selvi's mom jumps into the wagon cos she does not want them to tell selvi too many details about the house.

they all get to selvi's house and selvi's mom dramatically says that despite her insistance, tamarai's parents have asked them to go and stay at the adayar bungalow. selvi is not too pleased with that. this was yesterday's episode. cheers!

oh i forgot to add that the kids come home from school with their report cards. the boy has not done too well and hence does not want his dad to see the report. he asks guru to sign the sign the report. guru refuses. so the kid decides to ask tamarai to do it thinking she may not say anything. he tells her it is an invite for a function and that she has to sign for it. selvi turns up and sees what is happenning. meantime tamarai stares at the report and feels dizzy. while selvi talks to to sachin, gj turns up and sees the report card. gives his son a yelling and sends him away. and tells selvi that he is gonna ask tamarai to sign the card cos she always signs it and further he needs some documents signed as well. so he goes to tamarai and asks her to sign the card. tamarai stares at him rather suspiciously (i thought) and throws the pen on his face and tears the report card and goes to stand by the window. whengj tries to appease her by putting a hand on her shoulder, she turns back at him with a 'dont touch me'. they break for ads with gj's thiruttu muzhi!

hey this was both 18th and 19th update 😃

Thamarai's dad gives one of his bungalows to Selvi's mother & family. They all go there to do Milk boiling ceremony.Ranjani tries to tell these things to Thamarai but in vain.
Selvi decides to give birth to the baby. Thamarai's parents tell her to abort as their family astrologer tells that the birth may harm selvi's life.But selvi is firm.
Meanwhile, Selvi's sister who is at mom's house with her husband and 2 kids is creating problems. Her husband is very mean and behind selvi's famly to get more and more money. Once, in anger that they took good costumes for selvi and GJ and not to them, he sells one of his daughters for money and buys good clothes for him, malar and the other daughter.Finally selvi hands him over to police, but didnt lodge complaint as requested by selvi. He tortures malar insistnig that selvi has to say sorry to him for having taken him to police station. His parents and he has some plans of getting money from them which is why he stays at in-laws house. Selvi's apology has not happened yet. Awaited for her responses in forthcoming episodes.

Well, amidst, Maya plans to spoil the thalai diwali to happen in Selvi's mother's house for Selvi and GJ. She keeps a bomb in a flower pot and sends it thru Ranjani. Lots of suspense in what happens to that bomb, and finally Selvi's youngest brother keeps the flower pot and the episode ends there.

Of course, the above is a brief update of a couple of episodes. 😊
