NG's House

Shanmugam keeps making valid excuses for vidya, as to how she had come to meet them in kanchipuram. NG says now you all are satisfied. See you doubted such a THANGAMANA ponnu. Vidya immediately falls at NG's feet and says im sorry I made a very big mistake. Bhaskar says because of my wife there is so much thevayillatha tension in the morning, let me get ready. Sivagamy takes vidya inside. NG calls shanmugam, he says I don't know what to say to you. I have to build a temple for you and worship you. You brought vidya at the right time. Just because they did not see the girl for a few mins, everyone started saying different things, but you are born in another family but u serve like a son of our family.. Im so glad vidya thought that you were like a dad to her, poor vidya is so confused, please go and give her some nice advice, if you tell she will listen. Quiet an emotional scene. Vidya is crying in her room. Shamugam goes there & says see how your folks thuduchufied. You wanting to leave this house is such a foolish act, good it ended quiet well. IF only meyappan did not see you in the bustand things would have been different. Even the god did not want to destroy this family, so he saved us. The drogam one does towards their parents is like words inscribed in the stone. The stone might break, but the words will still remain. WE will always live with the guilt that we hurt our parents. Whether one remains with their head high or put their head down in shame, is all in the way the girl behaves. Please make sure mama's gauravam is not hurt by you. Don't cry. I hope you wont do this again. STUPID vidya 😡 says, mama ashok is a good person, I believe him, I want to marry him<how could she say that when ashok was so disrespectful to shanmugam, she deserves the likes of ashok only> shamugam says, whatever we see is not always true. Vidya, you liking him is different, can you be happy with him till the end is different. I will talk to ashok, & find out from the society about him and then if he is good, I will fix your marriage. But till then you should not meet him or speak to him. Is that ok. She says mmm. He says yoru mmm I take it as SATHYAM, but be kalakala, & happy. Let me take leave.

Shamugam comes and sees NG sitting in the unjal, he also sits next to him, NG asks about the boy & the alliance for vidya, if shamugam is ok. Shamugam says it is all in gods hands, see the jathakam etc ,then we will discuss. NG laughs and says when I came asking for you hand for tulsi, you were not home, so they gave us a picture of you, we got in the bus and you were the one driving it, you did not know us, but we knew you, so we were kavanuchufying you.. Some one fainted in the road , you stopped the bus and helped, him at that time I told sivagamy, that I don't want to see jathakam, mapillai is a very good person, so bhaskars bosses family is good. so just need ur permission.

Pandian House

Pandian is beating his brother ashok with a belt, he says you should accomplish what you set out to do. Pandi's wife comes and stops him beating him. He says your kids are so scared because of you. Pandi, starts beating her. Ashok stops pandi. Ashok says why anna, you are getting so angry. He says it is all because of you. Ashok says it is all because of shanmugam. I would have killed him there but couldn't. Pandi says leave him to me, he married tulsi whom I was supposed to marry, & now he has taken your girl back to where she belongs, so leave him to me I will take care of him. Ashok says he broke the 2 of us, but he does not know im a bad person, I will kalachufy vidyas manasu again and bring her back behind me , if not im not your thambi. Pandi is still fuming.

Shanmugams house.

Shamugams parents are talking & shanmugam enters the houe, his mom says how she went to one of her neighbors house where she saw the entire family pouring kerosene on them and trying to burn themselves up, luckily she saw that and screamed and gathered a crowd and saved them. Dad asks what is their problem. She says it is all because of their daughter, who eloped with him someone, but her chithappa saw them and brought her back home, after that they fixed her alliance with someone, but then she acted so much and ran away with that boy. All the marriage efforts were in full swing & this happened. So they wanted to commit suicide.. Then she sees shamugam and says when did you come. So you dropped your machinichi back home safely. Shanmugam does not speak a word and goes inside. Tulsi sees him and goes and welcomes him back excitedly. She has a chain of questions for him. Shanmugam is patiently listening, and sits down . Tulsi says you are like my dad, u keep everything in you manasu. She keeps thonathonathufying & suddenly he screams and asks her to be quiet for sometime.

NG's house

Mallika is putting her son to sleep. NG says you are not sleeping, Mallika says whatever I said about vidya in the morning was only out of concern for vidya, im so sorry. NG says don't I know you & your real concern. I know everyone. You don't worry and go to sleep. Mallika looks around and seems a little relieved.

NG goes to see his daughter Vidhya and finds that she is still crying and not slept yet. He asks her why she is crying, tells her not to worry. He tells her to lie on his madi, and talks to her so nicely. A lovely scene showing the love of a father to a grown up daughter. He tells that her mother got married at young age, and imagine how she would have felt, and your sister thulasi cried so much like you. Later after goes to Shanmugam';s house, she got involved so much that I have to request maapillai to send thulasi to our house. He convinces so much to her thinking that she is cying becoz she got to part them after marriage. Poor dad. Still, the way his love and affection has been shown is great. Finally he sees that Vidya has slept and goes telling himself, I have to give the horoscope to jyosiar soon.

Next day, NG goes to Jyosiar house and hands over the horoscope of boy and girl and tells him to see match. Jyosiars wife tells that it is ashtami and tmrw navami, so will see after that and they both tell NG to come later and collect. NG says that , it is also fine to see on a good day and takes leave.

Vidya is sitting in the computer class. Ashok comes there and tells her to come out. She says no, and tells not to disturb her. He grabs her hand and takes her out by force to a thoppu kind of place. He tells her that this time he will make a master plan to elope away. She says that Shanmugam mama will do something and we will wait. Hearing this, Ashok tries to poison her mind saying - If I tell you wont believe, shanmugam is not a good person. He has an eye on you. He does not have a child through your sister and so he is planning to get you. He is not a good person. You all are blindly believing him bla bla ---. Vidya starts thinking (really stupid). Suddenly, Ashok takes pen knife and cuts his hand nerve and insists that he wont go to hospital until she accepts to what he plans. Vidya finally says ok, and tells him to go to clinic and leaves. Ashok gives a wild face and thinks of how shanmugam drives him out from the hotel when he was eloping with Vidya. Screen freezes.

Brief Update

-Bhaskar goes to work & is informed by his bosses' son (to be vidya's husband maybe) that his dad has some good news for him. Bhaskars meets his boss, who tells him that starting from this moment, bhaskar is made the manager of the store, which was till now managed by his son Ramesh.

-Bhaskar Is very thrilled and he goes down and meets ramesh. Ramesh says that im not sure what I should call you, since we are going to be related soon. Bhaskar asks him to call him machan. So Ramesh tells him that from today, bhaskar will learn all his work, & also gets his cell phone. Bhaskar is very happy, & gets home at mid night and keeps trying different clothes etc, & tells mallika about his promotion

-NG along with his friend, is on his way to buy fertilizers for his crops, when he meets another boy & inquires about his mother, & loans him some money to take care of his mothers leg

-The villagers come together and stop NG & his friend, and tell them that how one of the villagers brother inlaw has a store in koyambedu, and how instead of selling their vegetables to the Agent(pandian) they can directly take them to the koyambedu market and sell to the sellers

-NG's friend says that it tying Thalapa to NG & insulting him, only last time he had to sell all his family jewels to save his face, so it is better that the villagers do their thing & let NG do his work. The villagers says we are very ashamed of what happened last time but his time we all will work together. They say they need NG's help & support in renting a lorry and loading all their vegetables so they can go and sell directly in the koyambedu market. NG is kind hearted so he goes to the lorry agent and books a lorry by paying 32000 cash, to take their vegetables for sellng.

-Pandi runs to kadhir velu's house, saying that because of kadhir he is doomed. Kadhir says only NG can be doomed because of him & no one else

Kadhir Vels House

Pandi is telling kadhir that he thinks he will come to the streets. All this is because of you guys. Kadhir says I will pethufy your palu, don't forget that you benefited from me even in the thakali deal. Pandi says Today all the villagers have decided to go and sell the kaikari in koyambedu. Kadhir says do something else, as you have earned a lot of money. Pandi says you will be the loser. Cause this is an enimity between you & NG. Kadhir's mama says kadhir can you see pandi is sindu mudunchufying between you & NG. Pandi says our entire clan has no shame , but kadhir is not like that he is like kavariman. Kadhir says pandi has learnt to talk a lot. Pandi says if you want I will fall at your feet. Kadhir says enna, you don't want the lorry to reach koyambedu right. That will not happen. Pandi leaves. Kadhir's mama says even if you want to remain alone, this pandi seems bent on not leaving you alone. Kadhir says whatever game NG plays, I will have to take part in it.

NG's House

NG is washing his feet & sees, Bhaskar & moorthy together. He asks bhaskar how come he is still at home, is it not getting late for work. Bhaskar says no appa, from now on I have to be there only by 10. NG says how, Moorthy says he has got promotion, NG says uh ha. Bhaskar says aren't you happy. NG says if you would have got the promotion before this alliance has come, it would have been better. Bhaskar says my boss himself said that this was for my hard work that I got promoted. NG says, I know that , you know that, but the ooru does not know. So the higher promotion you get you have to work more, & prove yourself, so start going early. NG leaves. Bhaskar tells moorthy enna anna idpadi sollitu poraru. Moorthy says you know appa, he is like that, but think about it, he has a point. What are you going to do for your boss for the promotion, what r u going to do for your work, what are you going to contribute to your work. Moorthy gives him different scenarios as to what will bhaskar do for the shop when it burns, gets destroyed etc. Bhaskar is quiet. Moorthy says this is why you should take a insurance policy as a manager. Bhaskar says anna even by mistake please don't come by my shop anna.

Lorry Depot

Kadhir asks his mama to stand outside & goes inside to talk to the lorry manager. Kadhir says he needs all the 8 lorries. The owner says no nataraja gounder has booked 5 lorrys so I can only give you only 3. Kadhir says I will pay double. The owner says that I cannot do this. Kadhir says what is the vellai for your neermai; The lorry driver says you cant buy me with money. Kadhir says you are not neermai with the government. The owner says I have loyalty towards my customers. Kadhir is saying that if he does not give his lorries, he will feel sorry for it. The owner says that he will not give in to these threatnening & leaves. Kadhir ocmes out & his mama says don't worry about it we will find another way. AT that time he listens to the lorry drivers talking to each other saying that they don't have enough money. So kadhir asks his mama to talk to all the drivers 5,000 rupees, and says it is good to give to illathavan and do thappu , & that becomes punniyam. So please those guys and come. Mama has a talk with all the lorry drivers (it is all muted). Kadhir is watching. All the drivers come & meet kadhir. Kadhir says for the next 3 days you guys should not be in town. The drivers say if our boss comes to know. Kadhir says your boss is not in town. So you go & enjoy yourselves. Kadhir's mama asks how come you always accomplish what you think. Kadhir says I only think what I can accomplish.

Thuni Kadai

Bhaskar is showing the sales report to the boss. Boss asks bhaskar to go to the gowdown and take the stock report. Bhaksar takes another co-worker and goes to the godown. Sundaresa goundar comes to meet bhaskar to get 200 rupees. He asks for salesman bhaskar. Sundaresa goundar, is told that bhaskar is the manager. SG is very happy. The boss comes on rounds, and says how come you are making customer sit & not attending to him. The boss is told that SG is bhaskars thai maman. The boss is very happy and says how he is soon going to be related to NG. Boss introduces his son to him. Boss says how come you are the thaimaman and you did not know about vidya's alliance. SG says that is my mama's nature, do u know that the girl revathy living in their house , is my daughter who is going to marry siva. The boss says no, I don't know. SG says see you did not know this likewise I did not know that your son ws going to marry vidya. The boss says I know you must have come to take pattu pudavai, so he asks his men to pack 2 costly pattu pudavai for Samandhi. The boss suddenly says see I keep calling you sambandhi I don't know your name, he says Sundaresa Gounder…..

THUNI KADAI

Bhaskars boss is asking his workers to pack 2 pattupodavai to sundareswara gounder. The bill comes to 10000. The boss asks his boys to give him 20% discount. SG says he will come by later and pay & pick up the parcel. Boss says no no, you can pay later, take it now samandhi. The boss writes 8400 in bhaskars account. SG is walking out with the sari, without knowing what to do. Bhaskar arrives, and tells the boss that he has taken the stock. His boss says that I figured it out that your younger brother is going to marry the SG's daughter revathy. Bhaskar asks who told you all this sir. Boss says your maman came here and he told me everything, he is such a cool character. But you please don't go and ask him for the money, let him give it whenever, but in the meanwhile I have written it in your account. Bhaskar is so shocked.

NG's House

Sivagamy asks revathy to fold all the dry clothes. Bhaskar comes looking for his mom. He says amma what your son is doing is not good. Sivagamy says you better talk with respect. Bhaskar says don't include him in the house anymore. He came to my thunikadai, & bought sari for 10000 rupees. His mom says it is not 10000 rupees only 8400. Bhaskar says how do u know. Sivagamy says he came here and told me about it, as to how he came to your store to borrow 200 rupees and your bosss kattufied a 10000 rupees sari in his head thinking he has come for wedding purchases. So never mind she says we will return this. Bhaskar says if I return clothes from my work, it will not good , I will repay it monthly. He says but what your brother did is not nice. Sivagamy says he did not plan it. Moorthy comes and says poor mama, he does not mean any harm so let it go. Bhaskar says this is my matter. Siva says what anna you say it is your private matter, he is our mama. Bhaskar says you better watch out as SG mama has put in a matter about you also. Siva is perplexed. Revathy comes collecting the clothes and is listening. Bhaskar says he has told that you are going to marry revathy. Sivagamy says maybe because he has some dreams so he must have just said it. Siva says how come he imagine this, how handsome & educated im. Revathy is no match for me. Siva gamy says but reavathy has a beautiful heart. Siva says I will run away if you keep dreaming like this. Revathy is crying in the backyard.

NG's House & HOSPITAL

Sivagamy next morning is putting sambarani to the entire house, she sees revathy lying down near a pile of sakku mootai. She tries to wake her up. She sees revathy unconscious and having taken poison. They rush her to the hospital. Everyone is gathered in the hospital. Sivagamy is so worried. She says what will I answer my brother. She is praying heavily. She finally comes and hits siva and says it is all because of you. Siva is quiet. Bhaskar says amma this is hospital don't shout. NG says did you tell sundaresan. Bhaskar says he did he should be on his way. Sivagamy says please forgive us. NG says don't worry something has happened and she has taken poison don't worry they will save her. SG is very emotional and says so you were watching her take poison. IS this why I let her stay at your place. She is such a good person. What did u all tell to hurt my daughter. You could have told me that you did not like my daughter staying at your place, I would have taken her away. Everyone is so quiet. SG says im an anathai, but I only have you for a sister. Only cause I had this nappasai that if she becomes your dil, you will take good care of her. SG says on the outside my daughter does not look so great, but her heart is of gold. Enough akka just give my daughter back to me alive, I will go and beg from village to village and marry my daughter of, please give my daughter alive to me. The Dr comes out. He says we have completely washed her stomach & brought her back alive. You can see her in 30 minutes. NG takes SG with him.


NG's House

Mallika & karpagam are speaking and discussing how revathy did this. Karpagam says chithappa I never believed that revathy will do this. SG says I believed that you guys will take care of my daughter like your own sister. But see what has happened. NG takes him and says what had happened in the house and how revathy heard all this. NG asks forgiveness. SG says it is all my thalai ezhuthu. Why did I go to bhaskar's kadai. I think bhaskar did not like that and would have told bad things about me. It is not new anyway. But what if outsiders talk about us we feel bad, if insiders do it hurts more. WE have no one else other than you guys to call sontham. NG says the problem is not getting siva & revathy married, but after they are married, they should be happy that is what is needed. Leave shiva, I promise on my vivasayam that I will get your daughter married in a very good family. I promise you that. Screen freezes on SG's face

Kadhir & Sundaresa Gounder

SG goes to Kadhirvels house. He tells Kadhir that I was the one responsible for everything, I was the one who made my daughter dream about getting married into NG's house. NG says that he will get my daughter married. Kadhir says then what about what you told me, What I told you & NG both are correct. I don't have money to get my daughter married, so I will listen to NG. Kadhir says you are a mazhumandai. SG says petha ponnai karaiserka mudiyatha each dad is a mazhumandai. SG says when siva does not want to marry my daughter then what is the point. Kadhir says whether u are interested, or siva is interested or ur daughter is intereste, this marriage between Siva & your daughter will happen, as this is my Gaurava prechannai.

Villagers, Nataraja Gounder & Lorry contract

All the villagers are looking for NG as they cannot find the lorry guys. NG's friend says that let us go to goundar and ask, only when he comes the lorry guys will answer correctly. They all go to see nataraga gounder.

NG & villagers go and ask the manager what happened. The manager says that all the drivers have taken the day off. NG says you guys took our money, do something cause, if we don't take the goods to sell we will be at a great loss. NG is yelling at the manager and says please think of another way, and see if you can find some other drivers. The villagers start to beat up the manager. Then NG stops them, and the manager calls his boss but no one is lifting the phone. The manager says sir I have no other choice, but I can do one thing at my risk, I can give you 5 lorries, but you have to arrange your own drivers. NG is stuck. NG immediately calls Shanmugam, & very humbly requests shanmugam if he can find 5 drivers, as they have to send the saraku that evening. IF shanmugam can do that help it will be so much puniyam to shanmugam. Shanmugam says enna mama, I will send u 50 drivers. NG thanks the manager and tells that he has arranged the drivers. The manager says that im only giving the lorries as I have trust in you , not the drivers. NG says don't worry we will take good care.

Shanmugams HOuse

Shanmugam, tells his dad about the prechanni in nachiyapuram. His mom does not give him permission to go there. AS this is a prechannai & she does not want him to go there. Thulsi says your mom will always stop things especially when it comes to my house. Whenever we go to your relatives house, we have to stay for a week, but to go to my house, we need so many karanam. His mom says I don't want you to get caught in kaikari prechanni so you should not go. Thulsi says my dad can take care of himself, he does not need any 3rd parties help. Mamiar says ok then let him take care of this without involving my son. His mom is very concerned about shanmugams safety and does not want him to go. Shanmugam tries to reason out with her, but she is adamant, so finally shanmugam says ok I wont go. Thulsi says hmm and goes inside.

Kadhir, His mama & Pandi

Kadhir is driving his jeep in the road, & pandi is honking from behind in the bike. He comes and tells everything about how NG has arranged for drivers & the lorries. Pandi says tonite all the 5 loads of sarakku will unload in koyambedu & they have outsmarted us. Kadhir says go and tell the drivers to go on strike. Pandi says they are all on vacation, so that is not possible. Kadhir asks them to arrange for people from outside to stir up some sandai. Pandi says that can be done, but will have to spend some money. Kadhir says dont worry about the money part. Then Kadhir finds out that the lorries will go via vandaloor, from pandi. He tells pandi to stop those lorries with the people from outside, about 2 kilometers before vandaloor and ask them to leave the lorry and go. IF they protest then to hit them, & then hijack the lorry with the saraku. Pandi says he will do the task and come and see him. Kadhir's mama says that we have to spend a lakh for this, do u really need to do this. Kadhir says think about the loss NG will incur, once we hijack the lorries we will burn them, since the lorries are NG's responsibility, he will have to end up paying 15 lakhs for 5 lorries, so think about that. His mama says that will be a big blow for NG. Kadhir starts the van ….

Shanmugam & Thulsi

Tulsi is washing clothes, shanmugam comes from behind and takes the cloth she is pizhunjufying & tires to do the same Tulsi pulls it away from him & shanmugam says what tulsi, can I not help my pondati. She snaps right back and says that this feeling that im your wife should be in front of your mom, not just behind. In front of her you never even show like I exist , but when we are alone, you hold me in high esteem, she says this does not cut it, saying this she tries to walk away. Shanmugam with so much affection, pull her by her hair and says Ayee tulsi, tulsi, Naan kai neraya sambathikaren, if you keep your head full of flowers, do you know how good you will look, & hai you have applied turmeric and washed your face, you face looks so awesome & yellow, she snaps, I guess you have jaundice so go and see a doctor. Shanmugam holds her hand and says come on please give me a break, what is the point if you talk like this, she says that means I don't like what ever you say . Then she says, oh don't touch me, or hold my hand, If your mom sees she will then get charged and say, that I have VASIYAM panufied you. Shanmugam says they wont say that, cause they are not home. Tulsi says that is the point, that is why you are so brave today. She says look mama, I don't like to talk to you. He asks why. I don't understand why you should listen to your mom for anything and everything. My poor dad would be expecting you & he would told everyone too, but he is going to get insulted . Shanmugam says as long as im there I will never let anyone insult your dad. Tulsi so happy, she says really then why did you not tell amma last night. He says he cannot do that as far as my mom is concerned im not going to nachiarpuram, as far as you are concerned Im going. Why this double game. He says no this is not a double game, this is the love I have for my mom. Tulsi says as long as your mom is talking ill about others she can never live in peace, shanmugam says I cannot think like that. Driving is a tough & risk task. When I drive I should only think of driving in a straight file and reaching from point A to point B. A second is enough in driving to lose it all. Karanam thappina, maranam. So when im driving, if I think that my Tulsi has some prechanni cause of my mom, that one sec could be devastating to me and all the passengers, & you & amma. So that is why I always try to go amicably. Tulsi puts her head down. He says I wont blame my mom, im her only son, & she has every right to be worried about my welfare. Tulsi says why should you go behind the back and help my dad, instead of being straight forward. Shamugam says I cannot disappoint my mom who is worried about my welfare, nor can I disappoint my mama who is expecting me to come & help him. Let me ask you something, but don't mistake me, I know you and my mom have a lot of issues, but fighting does not solve anything, I would like you to be more patient. Im only asking this as I think I have a right to you ask you this, nothing more. Will you be patient. She simply sweetly nods her head in the affirmative. He says ok im leaving. She pulls his colar and stops him. He asks what. He says please go and come back safely, she does not leave his colar, he says only if you leave my shirt I can go, she smiles. <A very very cute scene between these two>

Nataraja Gounder , villagers, ashok

Nataraja gounder is talking with all the villagers, & the villagers want NG to go to koyambedu and beram pesufy the saraku. NG's friend refuses saying he will be there as NG has other work, but the villagers insist. So finally NG agrees, HE is supposed to go before and talk to the sellers in koyambedu, by the time the saraku arrives, with shamugam & co. Ashok is listening to all this and his evil mind Is already scheming. The villagers take leave. Ashok goes and tracks one of viday's friend and asks her to go and tell vidya something. She first refuses as she is not supposed to go to vidyas house as her to be groom lives opposite to their house. But ashok convinces her so she goes to convey the message to vidya, to go and meet ashok. Ashok meets his friends. They want him to go to sivakasi. He says no you guys cannot go, casue we are all going to bangalore, he asks his friend In travels to get him a car at 9, they plan to meet at the amman kovil. Priya arrives at vidyas house, she meets karpagam who is olathufying milagai. She says come priya ahvent seen you in a long time, how come you have come. She says enna is your house Pakistan that I cannot come. Karpagam goes, athi, you were so meek & today you speak so much wow. Im always like that,let me go meet viday. She goes and meets viday. Priya asks vidya to meet ashok, & asks is there something between them. STUPID vidya gets ready to meet ashok. She meets ashok, & ashok elaborates the plan to her. Vidya says this is not a good time to run away. Only your amma & anni are going to be at home. Vidya says these days everyone is watching me. Ashok as always, is manipulating her. Vidya wants to marry in front of everyone. Ashok says this will never happen. Vidya says I think we need to be patient. Ashok again says you trust me right, say ok. Vidya is thinking and says ok. He elobrates the plan and says this time nothing will go wrong. Vidya leaes, he has his crooked smile on his face. <WISH VIDYA STAYS PUT AT HOME, AND HAS MORE FAITH IN HER FAMILY & SNUBS ASHOK>

Pandi house

Some people keep looking for pandi. His wife lets them in & she goes and informs that kasi annan has come to meet them. Kasi introduces everyone, pandi sends his wife away to make coffee. She already suspects things. Pandi takes them inside and locks. Kasi says they are dangerous people, they will finish of the matter. Pandi gives 1 lakh, & asks them to finish the matter properly. Kasi elobrates the plan to hijack the 5 lorries near vandaloor and burn the lorry. Pandi says don't burn the lorries, just finish NG. Kasi is shocked. The guys who take the money says what you got us to burn the lorries and now there is already a twist in the story. Pandi says you wont do that, they say they will but need more money. Pandi gives them more money. Kasi will identify the koundar. Pandi opens the door and sends the men away when his wife is away. Kasi asks will this be ok. Monday 11-28-05 update – Episode 30

Scene 1

Mallika and shanmugam are talking to Revathy that she should be patient and should not try to commit suicide henceforth. Shanmugam then goes to meet Vidhya and tell her that he needs to talk to her about her marriage. He assures her that he will unite her and Ashok and to have faith in him.
Shanmugam tells NK that he is going to lorry office and taking care of things there. Pandi dorai is showering his love to his kids and his wife is questioning him on this change and Pandi tells her that good days r coming ahead so he is happy and his wife explains to him that he should not do anything wrong to earn money but Pandi cares a damn.
Ashok walks in and then Pandi tells him that he has planned to kill NK and Ashok tells he has planned to run away with Vidhya tonight. Pandi is happy and tells that out of the 2 if one plan becomes success he will be happy. Pandi then walks out to arrange for mike so that the whole village will hear about NK's death. Pandi wife calls Ashok for dinner but he says he is not hungry as he is very happy.

Scene 2

NK is walking up and down waiting to go to the market. Then his people come in and tells everybody to take care .NK's wife tells him to take his sons but he refuses. Vidhya finds out that his brothers have not gone so he upset.
Pandi' s people r talking how to kill NK and explains to them that at any cost they should not reveal his name but instead tell that Kadhirvel told them to do all these things.
Lorry office-
Manager tells shanmugam that he should take care of his lorries and he is giving at his risk. Shanmugam promises. Vijay is trying to sell his insurance to Shanmugam telling that that it is risky to take lorries in the night and who will take care. Shanmugam says God is there is take care but Vijay starts his insurance lecture and how it will help him cover for losses. Shanmugam doesn't pay any heed to it.
Then, NK's people does pooja for the Lorries before proceeding. Then one guy comes there and informs them that Kadhirvel people have kept bomb about 2 kms away. Vijay tells let's call police but shanmugam says not we will take some other route but reach KOyambEdu. People r happy on hearing shanmugam's assurance. Then Shanmugam tells the same guy to go and inform NK to take the ESR route to the destination.

Scene 3

Vidhya is trying to sneak out but both her anni's r in the kitchen watching her and questioning her like a dog. Vidhya tells she wants to meet her mom and goes inside. Her brother then asks her why is she roaming around, she says nothing. Ashok 's friend comes to call Vidhya saying he is waiting but Vidhya says it is not possible to come now and u go and tell Ashok. Then, one guy comes and informs in NK's house that NK should take the ESR route as Kadhirvel has planned to kill him. Both their sons go to tell NK. Ashok 'S friend come and tell him that Vidhya is not coming and he is angry. Ashok in his anger tells out everything why he loved Vidhya and why he wants to run away and all reasons for cheating her. Vidhya overhears everything and tell him to come in front of her dad and fight and not through females. Ashok tries to stop her but she leaves.

Vidya hits Ashok with her chappals so hard, that Ashok just stands there shocked, & loosens his grip on her. She says if you want to fight, be a man & fight with the person who you want to. She says this is your punishment for your deception, but im not sure what I will have to go through for having fallen for you, saying this she leaves

Kadhirvel & Mama

A villager goes running to kadhir's house frantically looking for kadhir. The villager encounters his mama first, who tells him that kadhir is inside, & to tell him what the matter was. The villager is in so much anxiety & really wants to meet kadhir, but elobrates pandi's plan to double cross Kadhir & kill Nataraja Gounder & put the blame on kadhir. IN the meantime kadhir arrives and keeps listening to the entire conversation. Kadhir looks so serious, his mama turns around & looks at kadhir and requests, rather begs kadhir to go and save Natraja Gounder, saying that you can live with hatred, but should never live with blame. Kadhir is all the while listening to his mama very seriously without uttering a word, & pacing up & down. Finally kadhir goes to start the jeep. His mama says you take care of NG & I will take care of pandi. Kadhir says no you stay at home, I will take care of the enemy & the dhrohi.

Nataraja Gounder

NG is on his way to koyambedu, & keeps asking the driver not to drive too fast. The driver says it is a highway & he has to keep up the minimum speed or else the next person will knock them out of this world. NG asks him to talk only good words, & the person next to him is falling asleep on gounder, so NG asks them to pull over to the side of the road where there is a small tea kadai type, & they all 3 get something to drink. His 2 sons who are on their bike to find NG & stop him from taking that route to koyambedu, in their anxiety to find & stop NG, just miss NG at thetea stall, as there is a bigger car between them & the tea kadai. They are wondering how they have come so far but yet to spot NG & co. After a short distance from the tea stall break, Pandi's men are parked and are checking each and every car that pass by them, as they are looking for NG. NG's car approaches them. Pandi's men flash lights are so powerful in the darkness of the night that the driver thinks that there are some cops who are searching cars & informs NG of the same. NG says then pull over and we will see what they want & see if we can help the cops. The driver pulls over, pandi's men spot NG & pull all of them outside of the car & beat up NG pretty badly in his head though he keeps begging them to stop & not attack him. Finally one guy holds NG & the other 3 beat him with a kattai & flash light so hard on NG's head,that he is bleeding profusely from his head, & falls on the ground. One of the men takes a big paraangkal & is about to smash it on NG's head when they see a powerful light blinding them. So they stop momentarily & one of the men goes near the light and is punched and thrown out in oneshot. Then kadhir gets down and turns of the engine & fights with all the 4 men & chase them away. Then kadhir takes NG to the nearest hospital signs the paper work & admits him in ICU , where the doctors attend on NG pretty much all night.Kadhir makes a phone call. Finally towards early morning the doctor comes & tells kadhir that now the person is out of the danger zone, but since he has lost a lot of blood & has been hit pretty badly in his head, patients condition is still very weak & he is unconcious . Kadhir says that he is just a passerby who saw NG lying in blood & admitted him. The doctor says that kadhir is great as he waited outside all night patiently for someone whom he did not know. Kadhir has is wicked smile on his face goes inside and sees NG & leaves.. The entire sequence was very well executed

Koyambedu market.

Shanmugam & NG's friend are anxiously waiting for NG. NG's friend refuses to make any deal with the market vendors till NG comes. The vendors say that in that case they have to keep their saraku to themselves. Moorthy asks them to wait for a little longer and NG will be there. Shamugam is also waiting anxiously and all of them have a worried & anxious look on their faces.

Will they make a successful deal & sell all their saraku, will NG recover full conscious as he has a head injury, who will find NG in the hospital

Kadhir goes and tells NG pozhachituya & leaves. Kadhir writes NG's number & asks the nurse to call & inform their family

Shanmugam & co are waiting for NG, the vendor comes & praises agents cause they know how to deal. He also says that if they don't sell their saraku then he will have to go away. Then moorthy convinces NG's friend to beram pesufy the kaikari & finally they finalized the deal. AT that time bhaskar & siva arrive and ask if NG has arrived. Bhaskar explains that before they could tell NG not to take vandaloor route, NG had started, but they did not spot him anywhere in vandaloor route. Shanmugam says don't worry let us go and see what the deal is as bhaskar has a valid point that if they call home then his mom might panick. So they all take off

Shammugam & co return home & realize that NG has not returned home. Sivagamy says that she has a bad feeling since morning at that time they get the call from the hospital. Shamugam , all the sons, mom & the granddaughter go to see him. NG is sitting in his bed, Sivagamy is upset, & so is his granddaughter. NG says nothing has happened to him, moorthy & friend say it is all cause of kadhirvel. NG says just let it go. The doctor comes and says that the patient needs rest, gives him injection and releases him. NG asks how did the kaikari vyabaram go, shamugam says that his friend sold all the veges for a huge profit. NG says ok then go back and tell all the villagers & give them their share and let them know that nothing happened. Only if they say he is ok, the villagers will spare kadhir. Shamugam says that NG is such a great person that he does not want his enemy also to be hurt. On the way out NG thanks the doctor, who says that you should thank this person who admitted you & stayed awake all night to make sure you are awake. They find out from the form he signed that it was kadhirvel who admitted him, NG is shocked.

All the villagers are mad like expected & are very angry at kadhir vel. Shanmugam & co ask them to be patient. NG arrives. And the villagers are angry, & NG says that this was an accident & nothing to do with kadhirvel. NG tells his friend swaminathan to make sure that the villagers head straight home and not make any mischief in between. The daughter inlaws are so moved when they see NG. NG asks sivagamy to make coffee & give everyone. Moorthy asks why should we not attack kadhir vel, all the sons are supportive. NG says I tld you all that there is no link between kadhir & this. Shanmugam talks personally to NG and takes him inside. Vidya comes and asks enna appa ipadi. NG asks her to go. Shamugam asks what is the pagai between you and kadhirvel. NG says when the time comes I will tell. Please listen to what I have to say. When siva hit kadhir , kadhir complained about siva, so why not put kadhir in jail. NG says that it was kadhir who saved his life, Shamugam says ok I believe you, but who else would have hit you. NG says it is pandi, Shanmugam asks pandian has so much thayiriam. NG says what are you saying mapillai, AYOGIYA PAYAN AVANUKU ILLATHA THAIRIYAMA
