hmmmm...so what is this buzz going around on India-forums.com. What is this new thingy we have "podcast"...
Let me give you definition of podcast. If you find this boring, feel free to skip to the next section of this post...
Podcasting" is a portmanteau coined in 2004, that combined two words: "iPod" and "broadcasting." primarily associated with audio subscriptions. From Wikipedia.org
Neither podcasting nor listening to podcasts requires an iPod or other portable player, and no over-the-air broadcasting is required. The name association came about simply because Apple Computer's iPod was the most marketed and the best-selling portable digital audio player when podcasting began, and was used by early practitioners.
A podcast is an audio program that is distributed over the internet.

So what is that we are doing with this podcast. India-forums, would like to give you all an upto date information on TV, gossips, bollywood songs, masaladar info...
It is easy, it is just like how many of us had trouble initially learing how to email. It is simple. To listen to India-Forums radio, we don't need special devices or spend any money. The concept, you have to have an iPod to listen is not true...
So what do we need to get this going...
1. Download for FREE iTunes from apple website
Click the link here to download. It is free

2. Subscribe to India-forums
After downloading, open iTunes. click on Advance , subscribe to podcast and enter the following link
www.india-forums.com/podcast.xml
3. Update your podcast regularly to get the latest downloads
Right click on India-forums podcast on iTunes and click on Update Podcast to get new shows downloaded/
You can also listen to Podcast on yahoo and you will not need iTunes or iPod for this. If you have windows mp3 player, that is all you will need.

2. Click on subscribe button and you may be prompted to login with your yahoo id and password.
3. Click on your fav show
4. Opens up windows media player or yahoo player and voila u are listening to IF Radio
Note: make sure you have not blocked any pop-ups
