With the new promo, it's quite clear that Abheer still loves Meher. He wants to take revenge from her and his anger and ego and has suppressed his love for Meher. It will take time for all that bitterness to melt away...

Meher loves Abheer as well but will not express her feelings as she has built a cocoon around herself and always retreats into her shell and pretends that she is strong whenever she confronts Abheer.

Somehow i think he has been manipulated by his Dad about Meher due to which he misunderstands

Meher is so self made and career oriented that she will not even think of it and even if she'll , she won't pay much attention.
