Unintentional mistake. That was what today's epi for me. Life is full of them. And today Abeer got the shock of his life. That too from the person he detests most. Meher really scored a point yesterday when she reminded him of Elton sir.
But what I loved was what happened after that. Abeer as described by Meher runs away from responsibility. Really. The man we saw yesterday had no running away. He pines through memory every second. Goes to visit sir's wife. Unable to meet her eye to eye writes a letter and comes back. There was pain all along. Guilt for not being there for the man who spotted the talent in him, who encouraged him and who made him who he is.
And I would say Meher too conducted herself properly when he came back after the guilt trip. She just stood by. She just allowed him to speak whatever he wanted to. How perfectly she understood Abeer in that scene when she silently listened to his " Thank you"
And Abeer for once he has sobered up. Though it is initial days it is time he starts thinking about Meher's action. He calls her opportunist, a woman who should not be trusted. Really. Why such a woman should take care of the person who was responsible for her ex-Husband's success. Why should she offer respect to that man, especially when Abeer berates her so much. Why?. That why should start in his head, only then he might be able to realize what exactly went wrong.
Actually yesterday epi showed contrasting actions from both of them, against the perceived personality of their better half.
