No Ratna you cant call his leaving a letter and going running away. Sometimes there are things you cant tell face to face. But then owning up the mistake, he clearly does that in the letter means he can own up things. Maybe not the way Meher has expected or the society expects. But then the good for nothing tag from his dad from childhood would have dent his self confidence. I mean when you are bombarded always with such negativity, your ego would grow, not willing to accept any mistake even if it is genuine. Because you feel if you accept mistake you are agreeing to your parent's view of good for nothing.
Deprived life of Meher along with her trust deficit due to her father and good for nothing tag by Abeer's father I would say have moulded their personalities which has played a significant role in their break up.Parents marital relation plays an important role in a child's life, so does parent's trust. Here if you look marital life at both homes were not pleasant. Meher's father left his mother and Abeer's father berates his mother in front of son. She is the cause of Abeer's poor performance in school. No wonder Abeer has also got a shade of that, putting blame on Meher for all the problems.
