The angst and longing upon finding ones lost forgotten love. The ardent hatred. The passionate frenzy. Intensity of the memories burdening the sane mind, not letting the sweet nothings disappear into nothing.
Mehr and Abeer- MehBeer fall into this ever so passionate trope/theme.
The power play between couples is a rare treat that we Indians are subjected to. Various dramas serve us the submissive belle and a CEO stubborn misogynist over and over in different plates but with same tadka.
This show preaches equality. And power play is the sexiest of battles, lovers can indulge in.
The song. Mere Nishaan. Kudos to the lyrics!
Now this couple has a real genuine reason to love-hate each other.
And then the misleading title! That's another masterstroke!
While Badtameez Dil and the line-"Dil hi ban jata hai apni love story ka villain" addresses the perpetual hate but the simple prefix- Phir bhi naa mane inverts the whole meaning.
I am totally in love with this! Everything is perfect. The guy is droolworthy and Mehr is sweet and practical minded. In such a politically correct way she steered the control of channel's success out of Abeer's hands. And Abeer is as good a player as she is.
In this newly acquired madness I totally forgot to introduce myself, I am Aileen. Would love to hear your views guys. Really excited to make friends here. :-)
