meeting Abhay after long time here, reading his brilliant historical research and insightful posts about Shivaji Maharaj, Sambhaji Maharaj, Bajirao, Aurangzeb last days. .and many more

Harshu with her fabulous daily threads.

Had most fun discussing Maratha history and making lot of new friends here.

They consummated on fri's epi n it was so rushed 😛 Am not a huge fan of consummation sequences unlike many in IF(not PB but in general that's a hot topic 🤣) but at least they should show a certain bond between the man and wife before that. The very previous scene he was being so stiff n formal with her n next scene he consummates with her when he comes to apologize. There was no attraction, no love, nothing 🥱 Since am not watching the show from today onwards I dont care either but yes I am feeling sorry for Karan and Sourabh. They didn't deserve this esp in their first show as leads.

Kashi is getting the Ruqaiya Sultan Begum treatment of JA. This is how I can best describe what's going on in PB. In order to over-glorify Mastani like Jodha, they're slowly turning Kashi into a vamp (like Ruqaiya) and trust me, she will become an air-headed scheming vamp post Bajirao-Mastani marriage.

Honestly speaking, I think I'm done with the so called "historical dramas" that Indian production houses keep on making. Everyone is turning into Ekta Kapoor in order to gain TRPs and don't give a shit about historical accuracy. It's clearly been mentioned several times that Kashi was a soft-spoken woman, she was loyal and devoted to her husband and did not play any role in the Peshwa family's household war against Mastani.

I guess all of us here in the forum are disgusted with Kashi's portrayal 🤢 But the fault lies with the makers not Kashi or even Ishita. I don't get why the first wife has to be power hungry and evil. I haven't watched JA on a regular basis but yes Ruqaiyya was unnecessarily made to look like a vamp for Jodha's benefit. Kashi has already made an ultimatum to Baji and going by that she will certainly become a vamp once Mastani makes her entry in Bajirao's life. In Kashi's case many historians have iterated on the fact that Kashi was a sweet docile housewife who had nothing to do with conspiracies hatched against Mastani but here Kashi will be heading the conspiracy group 🤢 They can take fictional liberty but to an extent they destroy the image of a person? Thats very low 🤢

Kashi is so not happening! Is she a kid? Crying about Peshwinbai cant help!

Im glad its ending. Good riddance than breaking hearts 😭

I ll miss the glorious days of PB very much </3

Talking abt Kashi will give me a headache 🤢 I will happily remember PC's portrayal n this is not to say Ishita is doing a bad job. The makers have ruined Kashi. Well we can watch the pre leap episodes anytime 😊

oh yess , her blouse designs hv always been talk of the town...😆

but here in PB i find only kashi adorned in such blouses whereas all other women are decked in something which suits to their times .

Yeah that I have noticed 😆 but back then people only wore high neck blouses. There was no concept of backless or back designs.
