And moreover, what was the best part of CGM was that they had showed the feelings of CGM and how he was confused when he was falling in love with Durdhara and I still remember that episode where Chanakya was explaining how his mission was more important to form an AKHAND BHARAT than being lost in the path of understanding his feeling of love . I did love CGM-Durdhara as it was shown in a very natural way.

Exactly.CGM loved Durdhara but he never forgot his ultimate goal. Also CGM-Durdhara's relationship was shown in a realistic manner rather than unnecessary connections.
Even I loved that episode.CGM's dilemma was shown beautifully. And Chanakya's teachings about love and attachment coming in the way of the mission were a masterstroke πŸ‘πŸ‘
I also liked how later on Durdhara respected CGM's decision and decided to support him from behind rather than clinging to him like You Know Who.

ok .
dethroning of dhanananda was also not shown...

& was there a track where chanakya got captured by dhanananda & a lady helped in him coming out but she had to pay a gruesome price for it .

Yes.That lady was Princess Mrignayani a fictional character. She was supposed to be CGM's love interest initially and there was supposed to be a love triangle between CGM-Mrignayani and Dhanananda.πŸ˜†Then CVs changed their mind( for good)and Mrignayani became some sort a friend to CGM who helped him rescue Chanakya and contributed to Akhand Bharat Mission.Later she committed suicide rather than facing Nanda's wrath.
CGM cremated her body and honoured her sacrifice. He respected her but didn't have romantic feelings for her.

Frankly speaking, my lack of interest for PB is gradually increasing everyday with too much of Mastani occupying the screen space. I really don't feel like watching the episodes which I miss nowadays, where I never used to miss one single episode of PB before and always watch that online afterwards, but now the scenario is changed, I don't really bother to watch the missed episode as the episodes are not enthralling anymore whether Baji becoming Peshwa or not. And now coming to Balaji's death, I will always miss Manish Wadhwa and his awesome portrayal of Balaji and thereby the complete exit of the preleap cast is over and thus my interest for PB too. Balaji's death was shown in such a worse way, I really don't like it, even his last breath was not shown. And the whole saga of pardoning him by his children was really painful to watch. What did irritate me was Kashi's overexciting behavior in it by lecturing Baji to not break her trust by marrying other girl blah blah blah was totally useless at this point of time, even the little Bhiu would understand how to give a person peace on his deathbed by pardoning him, but little/adult Kashi both had and has been portrayed as some insensitive woman in PB. I really liked the last Balaji and his Sarkar scene.
And this Mastani getting so much of screenspace irritates me so much. Her every scene and Bundelkhand saga bore me so much that I quit watching it halfway. Specially her marriage track was so baseless, the evil mother and son fix her marriage without the consent of Maharaj, her father, huh!!! Totally meaningless. I don't know how long I would feel to watch PB as its not fascinating me anymore- just like the previous historical CAS did which I had stopped watching after AC's death.

I already stopped watching this serial its becoming like CAS .In cas after leap Ashoka was mad behind Karuvakki and that song every two minutes priyatama and in this baji behind mastani and that bhajan😑

CAS was an epic failure 😡 PB is following in its footsteps. Just yesterday I saw a segment on how viewers are unhappy with Rajeshwari taking over from Anuja. True some fans are disheartened about it but the bigger matter is Mastani's entry and vilifying Kashi to glorify Mastani and showing there was no love lost between Kashi Baji. What about that? How come no one is addressing that?

The change in Radhabai justifies the change of actor at least...Rajeshwari is doing a good job playing the embittered woman who has decided discipline is the way to go as love doesn't always work!

They are simply choosing to ignore the fact that the non existent story of Baji and Kashi is also a factor that is making fans unhappy!

I mean this isn't a love story..show the Baji Kashi story and then when Mastani enters show that too! Why is that so difficult?

. CGM was the best Historical show I ever watched. It was an amazing show. The cast was very good, the bond between chanakya and cgm was beautiful. Ashish brought real cgm to life. His perseverance towards his goal was portrayed beautifully. The way cgm got all confused due to durdhara was beautifully portrayed as he was playing a late teen. Even Greeks were portrayed nicely. They were not vilified in the show unnecessarily. Their qualities were also shown. The goodness Calisthenes , proud of Seleucus and Alexander's ambitions were greatly portrayed. I bet they would have portrayed cgm-helen's love story in a very beautiful way. The only thing I didn't like was durdhara and her love for cgm. It would have been acceptable if she was not Dhananada's daughter in the show. A princess would never support a rebel.
