Blame the PB script for that!
The real Rau-Kashi equation was not as devoid of affection as shown. Yes, Bajirao was focused on his career but he did manage to lead Kashi through six pregnancies- 3 of which were after Mastani's arrival. How was that possible if he turned his back to her fully?:
Kashi's son Raghunath and Mastani's Shamsher were both born in the same year-1734. The next year in 1735 Kashi had another son called Janardan.😉 Clearly Rau was having his cake and eating it too!
So true 😡 The PB script was bad and yes a man who could father children with a woman even after meeting his so called eternal love certainly felt a certain amount of attraction and affection for his first wife. But here right from the first frame they are showing it in a manner such that Kashi means nothing to him. I am sure his children with Kashi will be a liability to this man here 🤢 I am sure he will consummate his marriage imagining Mastani or under pressure from his mother. I hate this man 😡
Mastani's voice alone could help him envision a happy family with a kid, that too with a woman whose face he is yet to see. I wonder how they will show Kashi Baji bond now. I liked them before the leap. At least their bickering was cute and towards the end they showed a beautiful bond of mutual understanding and trust between them which has disappeared like a gust of wind. I so hate this track 🤢 I have nothing against Megha who is playing Mastani but I cannot tolerate Mastani as a character. I can understand if people fall out of love. Its not uncommon now but now a woman gets to voice her thoughts but unfortunately back then. women were deemed to accept whatever their husbands indulged in without flinching
Sorry for the rant 😆 Am frustrated with this track 😵
