KS, a few things reg Manav. Why should Manav accept Shravani's flat and move into it with her when they are not married? She moved in with them because she had no one to support and help etc during pregnancy. Now, she has the baby and if she can afford a sea front flat, she can afford help and if Savita wants to swim in THAT luxury, she should but should Manav be forced to go too?

Clearly Manav has an ego - but then, its impossible to expect a self respecting man to be devoid of ego. Shravani has not established herself as his wife yet. These issues are something a wife should try to convince her husband with love. Further, since this is a sensitive issue, wouldnt the most sensible thing be to have Girish talk to Manav after Shravani brought it up? I think the whole motive of bringing up the flat is to establish the unreasonableness of Shravani and that has made its point.

If Sachin is going to live in absolute poverty as Manav's son, maybe its time Girish and Shravani looked for a more well settled father for him or someone who wouldnt mind taking their largesse (cue Jaywant??)

On a different note, it was amusing to see that what Shravani couldnt achieve with talking to Archana (getting her to quit), Dharmesh did very nicely. Shouldnt smart Shravani have thought of approaching Dharmesh herself, given his familiarity with her dad??

Manav is not the kind who will take dowry,v clear from his character.He wud not have taken a flat or car if the Ks had offered it either.Archu's jewellery for him,was her own wealth only

And moving into a flat totally which is above their own standard of living completely - no way.

Who says only dowry takers do it ? Hundreds of educated men , without accepting penny in dowry help out their rich wives family in managing financial assets . I have so many relatives and at least 5 in my own family r this way ......veritable sons to their sasural with only girls as wives .

What do u mean manav refuses HIMSELF to benefit ? There is nO himself and herself after marraige ...........its is simply an US . He clearly told Savita U guys go , I wont come . Why , cant he go there and go to his simple job , buy things for himself from his money only , but allow sAchu to enjoy the perks his grandpa gives him ?

It was ok for him to use his bros insurance money to buy hus sisters jewles and borrowing from same Girish to give Manohar money ? He needed money at that point didnt he ?

And saffy what big self respect is he talking about ? Currently by staying poor does he have it ? See how he stands before Dharmu and Satish ...........his ex wives samdhis , in THEIR company .............and Sachu shudnt stay in HIS grandpas flat is it ?

KoolDi,Archu believes she is not flirting(I know of course she is) - she considers herself to be Manav's Guardian Angel of sorts - thatz why this dosti talk,this draggin to restaurant,not allowin him to resign etc.

She considers herself to be his sole wellwisher friend who will not back out to help Manav even if his friends and family r disapprovin.This stems from her bhagwan theology,no doubt.

She will fail,but she will NOT let him fail -thatz her philosophy - sorta what many moms feel with their kids

Once Manav gets a different job by himself,she will not preassurize him to stay at the factory.But until then,shez not gonna let anybody put him on the streets.Its a sort of bravado

Her worship of savita irks me mad the most.

With Manju - I think as GM said,as SUlo said Manju apologized and begged her to come,Archu also felt Manju shud get a 2nd chance.I think this time round it was all Sulo's fault actually.

In Vaishu's marriage,Manju throwin up a tantrum was obvious to all,and eveybody includin Archu put up with it as it was marriage time

Yes,ArMan need to get married ASAP - but that is possible only when Manav is willing to forego the promise to girish abt marryin shravni - and that is possible only when shravni is willing to walk out with sachu bcoz she DOES NOT WANT MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE/COMPROMISE,

SHE WANTS LOVE

So,there is only 1 solution to this problem - shravni walkin out,and anything she does otherwise is seen as villainy.

It is agreed that everybody has shades of gray in this story,can call it their weakness,

Manav's insensitivity stands out the most,Archu's foolishness and Shravni's obstinancy next

Savita is selfish,manju evil

KoolDi - I agree with ur ultimate goal that sachu shud enjoy his grandpa's riches,and Manav will not reject any gifts and goodies goin to the child-schoolin,clothin,car,even sprucin up the baby room with a/c and the works

But look at the history - the grandpa himself was unwillin to give his daughter to Sachin,bcoz,sachin was poor THOUGH EDUCATED and cud get a good job,and was v v clear he wanted his daughter to have a rich life style - he was willin to get sachin-shravni married only if sachin go to the US !!!!!

Now girish feels nobody is willin to marry his daughter,so he jumps at the idea of gettin manav who is from the same chawl,AND IS NOT EVEN EDUCATED with v lil growth potential,as his damaad.Then girish shud honor Manav's way of life and his way of thinkin -

I DONT want girish to win here,he is the most manipulative selfish fella of all - he knows manav loves archu,archu loves manav - instead of advising his daughter,he is doin all the 3 in,shame on him,he went and told archu to give up her suhaag

agreed with you Taran . it is refreshing to see a man like manav , while in real life some use their rich FIL as ATMs.

Kool, let us have this discussion when Manav and Shrvani are married. For now it is only him, not us or we.

There is a huge difference between borrowing and getting something freely. Strings are always attached to free things, People expect too much when they give you things freely. I have learnt that from my hubby. He is very serious about that, he always say pay for what you want. Manav does not believe in taking things freely.

I too feel bad when I see the three sisters with Satish and Dharmesh. Reason why I dislike Shravani😆😆😆

AJits' past shows how good he is at deceiving people.He could hav very well deceived Archana by putting on an act.Was nt it a possibility?Everything u see may nt be the truth always.

Agreed Manju was bad.But then she too did and apologise to Sulo.And Vinod was convinced as well.

I'm not defending Sulo at all.But trying to understand Archus' POV.

If she could give Ajit a chance to prove himself,cudnt she give it to her SIL?Why will she expect negative things on the first look when someone apologises?Her chance bombarded and now she'll get her mother back n give Manju her due.

Had Manju really changed...understanding the importance of Ks after those maids left,wudnt it hav been unfair not to give her a chance?Helping her wud mean helping Vinod ,punni n ruchi...wont it?

What I'm trying to see is what Archu saw...how was she to understand Manju hasnt changed at all n is planning such crookedness.

She read shravani a lot later...by the time she understood reading ppl,Sulo was already suffering at Manjus'.

She read shravani as what shravani wanted was what mostly visible in what she demanded.Shravani had earlier wanted her to quit the job.Archu knew her intentions well.

How cud hav she read tht Manju had plans of emotionally blackmailing Sulo in the very presence of her bro and make her do all work when Vinod clearly said Sulo is going to rest.Wasnt Archu supposed to show some faith on his bro,as far as Sulo is concerned?

I never agreed with Archus' support for Savita.I still hate savita.That was only for her Bhagwan Manav.She actually saw something in Savita which I am yet to see.

I'm liking her new found strength.Better late than never.
