Hi Everyone! Am an avid Pavitra Bhagya fan just like everyone else on this forum... The timing of this post takes me by surprise, especially since I have not been active on IF for ages now, and hence a first time on this lovely forum as well.... Couldn't hold myself back, especially since I had never imagined even in my wildest dreams, that I will develop such an inexplicable bond, with a show, which is fiction after all.... But little did I know that I would be so wrong, that I would be totally overwhelmed by a show, its amazing cast and crew (special mention to both; will explain in a bit as to why both are equally important) and a fandom which has been so exquisitely dogged, in all the unwavering show of efforts, love and loyalty... This show has indeed been special, a show that I stumbled upon entirely by accident...found rather "mainstream" at first instance, to be entirely honest, and lo and behold am here today, totally bowled over by a mainstream show to be able to break the shackles of the run of the mill !! The credit for this goes to this absolutely fantastic amalgamation of talent, both in front and behind the camera!! You can take a bow, Team...Palki Malhotra, Raj Vardhan, Kunal Jaisingh, Aneri Vajani, Vibha Chibber, Riva Arora, Vaishnavi Prajapati, Yatin Mehta, Mohit Hiranandani, Abhishek Verma and every other wonderful actor who has made PB what it is....a rare and priceless GEM on ITV, in these times of sheer mediocrity and may I add mindlessness that is served to the audience in the name of entertainment!! This series has been SPECIAL in ways more than one... Am supremely delighted to have discovered such an astoundingly heart-warming pair on ITV after ages I think...KJ and AV, you guys are special and wonderfully gifted....as they say, to the manner born... Reyansh and Pranati will remain with all of us forever...PRAYANSH is an EMOTION, as all of us would agree, and this would obviously not have been possible without Kunal and Aneri bringing Prayansh to life so beautifully.... KJ and AV, you'll are truly, truly talented (will have no other platform to gush; hence, friends, please bear with me in case I am going overboard)....please keep honing your craft....you have a bright future ahead of you! A special mention for your natural yet nuanced acting style....your ability to convey unsaid emotions (through your eyes), fabulous voice modulation, and last but definitely not the least, some fantastic range, for sure! Most genuinely happy to have discovered you'll and your easy-breezy, yet scintillating chemistry!! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for Prayansh!! :)) Prayansh would obviously not have been the same without Jugnu...Jugnu completes them and how!! Both Vaishnavi and Riva have been spectacular.....such naturally talented performers....Way to go girls!! PB would definitely not have been PB, without Dadi's antagonistic tour de force!! Vibha Chibber's NSD talent set the PB stage and historically so!! What a fine actor and living proof that training has no substitute, and craft needs to be cultivated!! Maan and Armaan have been a sheer delight to watch, and the bonding of the 3 brothers as well as their conflicts so realistically portrayed....Yatin and Mohit, good work, guys! And now, explaining my appreciation for the crew, and thereby for Palki Malhotra, Raj Vardhan and their team. A unique plot, a progressive female lead, a hero with a definitive character growth, and a child actor who is neither saccharine sweet nor precociously irritating!! Kudos guys, for your thought process, writing, and not giving in despite (probably) the most pressured situation to be in....courage and dignity, truly come in many forms.... And all of you, I repeat, EACH AND EVERY MEMBER OF PB'S CAST AND CREW can hold their heads up in pride...Pavitra Bhagya is a true feather in your cap....a gem in your careers....since it will always qualify as an honest endeavor....of quality over quantity....a true labour of love that came from your hearts and reached ours.... Take a bow, guys....you guys have been absolutely SPLENDID!! And finally, this "appreciation post" would be incomplete without a heartfelt appreciation for the forum members.....what amazing unity....what love for the show....a fandom that is truly exemplary and beyond compare!! Kunal, Aneri and everybody else included, must sure consider themselves blessed! :) Tonnes of love to the entire PB team...wishing you great success in your lives, both personally and professionally... Some special love for Kunal, Aneri, Riva, Vibha Chibber, Yatin and Mohit... Loads of admiration for all the PBians, especially the super duper loyalists on IF... PB, you have been and will always remain SPECIAL!! :)) God bless... Hugs to all... DocD XoXo

Hi Jey!

Thanks for the warm welcome, and your kind words, Dear...smiley31

Have a confession to make.....you and the rest of the PB warriors on IF were the inspiration for my post...

I mean its no joke to dedicate one's valuable time relentlessly for a crusade, not knowing what the outcome is going to be like....

And here's my 2 cents on this, and pardon my ignorance (since I am not on social media)....

Irrespective of what the outcome of this fight is Jey (wow, it even rhymes with Rey! :)), I guess all of the IF PB comrades and the entire PB team, are all winners in their own right (and believe me, when I say this - am not saying this as a consolation prize)...

The PB team must be so overwhelmed by all the love, adulation and fight that each and every PB fan is putting up....from what I have been reading on the updates in some of the other threads, I guess the trends have reached the PB team...

And for the PB comrades, believe you me, when I say that its nothing short of a Herculean achievement to get a Twitter trend together, within a crazy TAT of just one day...

The hard work truly has been Symbiotic! smiley1

smiley32smiley32smiley32

So yes, here's hoping for the best...OTT or Season 2 (WITH KUNAL, ANERI AND RIVA ONLY), as is deemed fit...fingers and toes, crossed!!

If not, my dear, we will have to make peace with reality (am also telling myself this, since I too am finding it very difficult to come to terms with all the unfinished business and open tracks)

PB has given us some amazing moments to cherish....let's find happiness in revisiting the same....

Love and Hugs,

DocD

PS: For whatever its worth, I do also feel like an integral part of the crusade....have religiously watched every single episode, despite the crazy timings, without giving in, to the Voot temptation (in fact, this week, even gave up MDKD, the only other series I watch currently on ITV, which got pushed to 10.30 pm due to KBC)

So, we're all winners in our unique ways, and can take solace from the fact, that we gave it our best shot!!

You're making me feel blushing šŸ˜... All of us are crazy fans.. PB's characters are crazy ... So are fansšŸ˜†

I believe in Abdul Kalam sir principles... "Accept What you cannot change"

We will try to change first.. if not accepting the fate is what we have... Atleast we feel good for fighting this battle for something we love...that contented feeling matters a lot

And I already decided to take sanyas to web series.. serials...shows...

I'll go to novels and books

I can imagine things from the start To end

Dear Jey,

Loved the fact that you quoted Abdul Kalam Sir, he is truly an inspiration, my dear...

Would like to add a little something...itā€™s in the same vein as what youā€™ve just quoted...

ā€œGive me the courage to change what I can

The serenity to accept what I cannot

And the wisdom to know the differenceā€

Love,

DocD
