His worst fear come true. He was happy without any guilty conscience but after engagement everything starts changing atleast from his end.

I don't wanna comment on kurana family's stand on pranati

Now that he understands pranati is not getting affected by his proximity even if she does, it doesn't hold any value in her life. He is having a reality check. He hugged her forcefully, he imagined to kiss her, he stares at her whenever he gets a chance forcing her to feel his intensity of the closeness.

Still these things are his ways of talking with her though it's difficult to have Heart to heart talk with her openly after what has happened between them because of navya issue. He really finding it difficult to set things normal like it was after court drama.

@Bold, Exactly!

This thread really gave me a new way to think. It is actually after the engagement track things started getting serious between Prayansh, mainly from Rey's side.

Never have I ever thought of that! When Navya insulted Pranati,he just left some counter taunts and some cheesy drama to shut her up. Note: he was chilled and unbothered with Archit being there. He was like,"Ohh,its your ex Prani. Let's say hello."

After engagement when Armaan taunted Pranati,Rey didn't just scold him,he SLAPPED him. Things kept getting intense.

All the possessiveness and aggressiveness of Reyansh was him being in constant battle with his own mind, being in denial. It wasn't Pranati. It was his own inner voice(or maybe BOTH) that he was fighting with.

"Agar mujhse kabhi pyaar ki toh stop it" triggered it more. Why did Reyansh stop when she said that? Why did Pranati say that to Archit not to him?

Everything kept moving round and round in circles in his mind for the past couple of weeks.

Also,do you guys noticed he actually kinda toned down his aggressiveness, his bipolar attitude quite a bit after coming to terms with his own feelings?

Okay,I don't even know where my ranting is headed at lmao. But,the engagement DEFINITELY was a huge turning point to everything between Prayansh which I just noticed.

THE ENGAGEMENT!

I personally think that was the most ironic or the 'twist of time & fate' thing to ever happen to Prayansh after Jugnu.

That engagement sure did change a lot of equations, sometimes very openly, but mostly very subtly.

Praniti, who had a great deal of respect and belief in all these rituals and signs takes that ring as something she has to bear for the next 6 months for Jugnu, it was a small price that she had to pay for the love she had for her daughter. It was nothing more to her, it was a simply a ring, last time she had an engagement ring on, she valued it so much that she actually confessed the entire truth of her past to Archit and even went on to destroy whatever remained so that she could begin a new life with Archit and honour that relationship. Even when she broke of the engagement, she did it because she knew the ring's significance, what it meant and that she'll not be able to honour or fulfill any of them towards Archit. But, when she got engaged with Rey, it wasn't duty or honour or devotion, it was just a jewel on her finger that she had to wear for Jugnu's sake.

Reyash, the boy or should I say, the bee as he called himself, nothing mattered to him. He din't believe in rings, rituals and committments, he din't want one, neither did he ever respect someone else's committment either (you see him sleeping with someone else's wife in his intro). To him consent mattered, as long as he had consent, someone else's status din't matter. He wasn't ready for his own engagement but he had to do it, it was business, it was for his family. He, of all the people I know, he was one who was capable of taking it as a mere ring and nothing more. Externally that's what he did, but bhagya decided to play a cruel game, it decided that the ring is going to shift something deep within him without even him realising it.

Reyansh Khuranna, to whom relationship status' din't matter, suddenly began to matter, to whom consent mattered all along din't matter (forceful hugs or touches or just creeping in on her) when he saw that he or his ring din't matter to Prani. It is very obvious that something shifted with that engagement. The whole Archit drama also went to another level only after the engagement.

Now when I give it a thought, fear of reyansh during engagement makes sense. His hands were shaking literally while putting the ring. He seriously into pranati after the engagement. He didn't regret it and was happy somewhere in his heart.

But things take a big turn with navya drama. He slapped Arman like parboni said and when he asked who is she to him.. his wife or girlfriend or kuranas bahu?

These words of Arman strike him hard and he actually started being brutally honest after this fight with Arman. He took pranati to his room and confessed everything to stop her from involving in the navya drama. He did this to save her from Dadi's anger.

Recently when Maan annoyed him with his equation with pranati, he used exactly the same words of Arman which talks about how much he feels guilty for not giving pranati the married status without being in his proper sense or say unknowingly it's coming out.

And jugnu pushed the right buttons when she was hurt being called as Illegitimate. Before that, he never give a damn about these things. But now he seriously wanted to be husband of pranati but fate plays it's cruel role. Except him or jugnu, no one wishes it.

I went to AT to vomit it but stopped. I realized that not only me, everyone of us didn't realize it yet. So the need of this thread and it's purpose served now😳

Realization...Big Realization...😃

Like how Reyansh realized his 9 years love recently after maan's complication love dialogue. We come to realize everything yesterday that what makers trying to serve us.

@ bold: she said it to Archit because she completely lost it with reyansh and she believed Reyansh never loved her in his life not yesterday or not today and not tomorrow. She came to this conclusion after how he used her to get Riya for Arman and how he tried to make her behave like kuranas.

He stopped because he always loved her and believed that she can't love anyone but him in this life 💔

This eye-eye game is going on for quite some time. I'm noticing it from that Riya's flying chunri scene,re-enter scene of reyansh-pranati- jugnu after kidnapping track, jugnu school project, playing water balloon games, today's...they both talk their heart out through eyes.

@ bold2:marriage indication started from their engagement. We all forgot that they both are officially engaged now. There's a change in behavior of reyansh after the engagement in exact. During Arman Riya marriage, it was portrayed the hidden marriage of prayansh by CVS through bgm. It does mean that they both started acting like a married couple unknowingly or their heart behaves as such.

Exactly, Rey indirectly asserts its rights on Prani. His jealousy is very justified.

I understand that they can't use all the leads, but it's still a very important link.

Prani and Rey are together for Jagnu (that's what they believe), but they are engaged and related. So this whole story of Prani having no rights, having no status is false.

Maybe for the Khurana family, she is just a false fiancée, but for society, she is Rey's fiancée and the mother of Rey's child.

I would like them not to forget this point.

Like you said, Prani's status is a totally mess as far as the Khurannas are concerned. From Pranati's end it is very clear that she has no relationship with them whatsoever and she's there as Jugs' mother. Reyansh was also very clear about the co-parents sharing custody stand until he himself playfully invented that Prabhi thing. I believe somewhere that playful title left him wanting more after the entire engagement track, he might openly deny it but it is very obvious he isn't very clear. If we look at it closely, the engagement is pretty much the beginning of a lot of things, I'll again put out another reply for that, but if you think about it, it was so subtle that most of us din't take most connections seriously. And as far as the Khurannas are concerned, the status of Prani is dependent of what they need from her in each situation. If it's favourable for them, she's the DIL, she's Rey's to be wife, Prabhi and what not and when it's not favourable for them, it is Praniti the freeloader.

You're absolutely right.

Depending on the situation and the person, Pranati's identity changes.

But yes, everything changed when Rey and Pranati got engaged.

For Rey unconsciously for him he has rights over Pranati even if he denies it openly.

I think something will happen and we will see these details come to the fore.

Parboni is exactly what I think when I still watch past episodes.

Every time Rey has the flashback on this scene, we see his anger and jealousy increase, because indeed he would like his words to be for him. Because the process of accepting his feelings had already started!

Rey was already a bit possessive towards Pranati because Jagnu is "their daughter", seeing Archit turn to Pranati was not something he could accept, he was passing all this under sarcasm.

But as we all raised it and Natasha too, everything really took a turn as soon as they got engaged. Until now neither of them has taken off their ring. In other series when it doesn't matter to one or the other, he takes it off and finds an excuse for their relative, but here, Rey like Pranati wears their ring for a talisman.

Natasha, you summed up the situation of Rey and Pranati very well. 👏❤️

This commitment has set their lives on a path that none of them has the sincerity to accept.

For me, Rey and Pranati can never really be a perfectly committed couple until they tell each other what is in their hearts.

There is too much anger and resentment between them.

Rey has to accept his mistakes and Pranati has to put water in her wine so she can stop pressing or it hurts (bring Rey's mother into every argument because it triggers Rey).

Rey since he accepted Jagnu as his daughter Pranati has entered the equation, so for his daughter and her mother his possessiveness and jealousy are more than legitimate. He just doesn't have the courage to accept it yet.

For me their refusal to accept each other is perfectly legitimate. Moreover Rey needs to be even stronger mentally, "love" is still a weakness for him, he really needs to understand that love doesn't make you weak and losing love doesn't kill you either.
