Episode 7
Jugnu: kyunki aap unse pyaar krte ho na..
Reyansh turned towards her in shock but soon realised that she is just a kid and probably doesn't know what she is talking about.
Rey: beta m-main Kahan usse py-pyaar krta hoon
Jugnu: main bachi hoon bevakoof nhi. Mujhe sab pta hai. Aap unse pyaar krte ho aur abhi unhe miss bhi kr rahe ho
Rey: t-tu itna sure ho-hoke kaise keh sakti hai?
Jugs: simple, jab bhi aapke paas nai maa nhi hoti tab aap unhe dhoondte rehte ho nhi toh gusse mein iss bag ko maarte rehte ho. Aur haan, jab bhi aap nai maa ke saath hote ho aap sachi wala smile krte ho, woh wali nhi jo aap dadi ki samne krte ho.
Reyansh's shocked look turned into a real smile remembering all the moments that he had with Pranati. Jugnu was right, though he loves to party and drink alcohol with his brothers, but the real happiness always lies with him being with Pranati. He turned towards Jugnu who was giving him a smirk that loudly said 'I know I am right'. Alot of times he thought that Jugnu is definitely his daughter as she is so much like him but for the first he could see her mother's shadow in her. She had that same innocence and eye for real emotions like her beautiful mother. She was indeed an intelligent girl. He moved forward and ruffled Jugnu's hair.
Rey: jab itna sab jaanti ho toh yeh bhi janti hogi ki aapki maa mujhse nhi kisi aur se pyaar krti hai.
Jugs: aapko kaise pta? unhone aapse kuchh kaha kya?
He remembered Pranati saying several times that Archit is just her friend and nothing else.
Rey: n-nhi
Jugs: achha toh woh bhi kisi aur ke saath real wali smile krti hain?
Flashes of Pranati smiling with Archit during their handshake and video call came to his mind along with the smile that she gave him during the college days and water balloon fight. Before he could speak Maan entered the room.
Maan: Jugnu dekho main aapke liye kya laya hoon.
Jugs: arre wah naya video game, main abhi isse jaake khelti hoon.
She excitedly grabbed the video game and ran to the TV room.
Maan: maan gaya bhai. Yeh aapki hi beti hai, jis Reyansh Khurrana ki aaj tak dadi bhi bolti bnd nhi kra pai woh iss chhoti si bachi ne bnd kra di.
Rey: tu kehna kya chahta hai?
Maan: yahi bhai ki jo main aapko kabse samjhane ki koshish kr rha tha woh aapki beti ne saaf saaf bol diya. Prabhi aur aap ek doosre se pyaar krte ho.
Maan gave him a look too and left leaving Reyansh in deep thinking. Where Pranati was not able to stop her tears. The mere thought of someone taking her daughter away from her once again killed her a hundred times.
Navya tried to console her but she couldn't come up with good words. If she can't think of losing her baby who is not even in this world yet, how does she expect Pranati to quite down? Navya informed Archit about Pranati's condition so he came back as fast as possible.
Archit: pranati yar tu aise ro mt
Pranati: kaise na roun Archit? Abhi toh meri bachi mujhe milli thi. Abhi toh usne mujhse pyaar se baat karni shuru kari thi. Aur woh log mujhse meri Jugnu ko chheen leinge
Archit: Pranati aise umeed my chhod. Hum abhi bhi sabit kr sakte hai ki Vardan ne tere saath kya kiya. Ek baar yeh proof ho gaya toh judge ko bhi pta chal jayega ki woh ghar Jugnu ke liye achha nhi h. Bharosa rakh sab thheek ho jayega. Chal tu abhi rest kr. Abhi abhi hospital se vapis aayi hai. Jugnu ko pta nhi chalna chahiye ki tu bimar thi varna woh meri jaan le legi.
Archit tried to make her laugh but she couldn't give him more than half a smile. She lied down and sleep soon took over her.
In Khurrana mansion, Reyansh was still lost in his own world when he bumps into Anisha Khurrana (vardan's wife). All the documents that she was carrying fell down. Both of them kneels down to pick those up.
Rey: I'm sorry bhabhi mere dhyaan kahin aur tha
Anisha: koi baat nhi
She said while breathing heavily
Rey: Aap thhik toh hain?
Anisha: h-haan. Main bas thodi jaldi mein hoon.
She quickly collected all her stuff and starting walking fast away from him. Reyansh looked at her suspiciously. He looked down to see a pack of medicines which Anisha forgot to pick up. He picked it up only to be surprised by the name of it. It was indeed that medicine that was given to Pranati on the day of Ganesh pooja
Rey: bhabhi rukiye.
He said authoritatively. Anisha stopped in her tracks scared as hell. Reyansh walked towards her stomping his feet. He stood in front of her with anger plastered over his face.
Rey: yeh medicine aapko Kahan se milli?
Anisha kept quite trying to look away from him.
Rey: bhabhi kuchh poochh raha hoon aapse.
He raised his voice a bit which scared her more. Before she could answer, Maan came running towards both of them.
Maan: bhai woh Prabhi...
Rey: kya hua Pranati ko.
Seeing a good chance, Anisha excused herself from the conversation. Reyansh wanted to ask more questions but for now, pranati was his first priority.
Maan: woh Navya ka phone aya tha. Jugnu ki custody ka legal notice unhe bhi mila hai, unka ro roke bura haal hua hua hai.
Rey: tu gadi nikal hum abhi Archit ke ghar jaa rahe hain. Aur woh naya sim card bhi leke chal.
Maan: per kyun bhai?
Rey: yeh sawal poochhne ka time nhi hai, jo bol raha hoon kr.
Maan nodded and went back to his room to bring the brand new sim card that he bought. While Reyansh pulled his car out of the driveway. Maan ran towards Rey's car and they both drove off to Archit's place.....

Episode 8
Reyansh and Maan reached Archit's place.
Rey: sunn Maan, tu andar jaa aur bol ki tujhe nai sim mil gai hai aur numbers ko call Krna start kr. Navya aur Archit dono ko busy rakhio, main ek baar pranati ko dekh kr ata hoon. Navya ke room ki window konsi hai?
Maan: bhai mujhe kaise pta hoga
Rey: abe bhai hoon main tera, mujhe pta hai ki tujhe pta hai. Jaldi bta konsi hai
Maan (embarrassed): woh second wali
He pointed towards the window and Reyansh ran towards it while Maan knocked the front door. He got busy with them and Reyansh jumped the window seeing Pranati asleep. He smiled seeing her innocent face. He sat beside her and took her hand in his
Rey: kyun tu roti rehti hai. Smile kra kr na, woh real wali jaise Jugnu kehti h. Bohot achhi lagti hai jab tu smile krti hai. Ainveye ro Roker apni tabiyat kharab kr leti hai. Tu chinta mat kr, main Jugnu ko tujhse dur kabhi nhi jaane dunga. Jugnu teri beti hai aur mujhe ya mere pariwar ko koi hakk nhi hai usse tujhse door krne ka. Pta hai teri beti bilkul teri jaisi samjhdar hai. Itni badi badi baatein krti hai, Jaise tu krti thi. Per ek baat btaun, woh samjhati zyada achha tujhse. Jo baat mujhe tu samjha nhi paa rhi thi woh usne itni aasani se samjha di. Tune itni baar mujhse kaha ki Archit tera sirf dost hai aur main nalayak sochta raha ki tu jhoot bol rhi hai. Per ab main jaan gaya hoon, woh sach mein tera sirf dost hai. I'm sorry Prani main kitna bura hoon na? Jo cheez tune kri hi nhi uss baat per tujhe khari khoti Suna raha tha. Aur tu bhi, dhang se samjana chahie tha na. Tujhe pta hi hai mujhe cheezein samajhne mein kitni problem hoti hai. College mein padhane ki koshish krti thi na, kabhi bhi samajh ata tha mujhe? Per tu bhi zidi thi, jab tak mujhe samajh na aaye tab tak koshish karti thi. Toh abhi bhi krna chahiye tha na. I promise Prani, main tujhe aaj ke baad kuchh galat nhi kahoonga. Tu bas ab jaldi se ghar aa ja, Jugnu tujhe bohot miss krti hai aur.......main bhi.
He wiped the tear that he didn't even know came out. He lightly caressed her hair and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. She twisted and smiled in her sleep which brought a smile to his face too. He placed her hand on her stomach and covered her with sheet. He came outside the room through the window and waited for Maan in the car. After a few minutes, Maan came and sat on the passenger seat.
Maan: aap mil liye Prabhi se, thhik thi woh?
Rey: so rhi thi. Abhi bhi weak lag rhi hai. Tu bta kuchh pta chala?
Maan: humne saare number try kre per koi bhi investor ka nhi tha. Shayad woh unknown number se baat kr rha hoga, tabhi call recorda mein nhi aya. Ab kya karein?
Rey:ab saare sawalon ka jawaab Anisha bhabhi dengi. Seat belt bandh le Maan.
Rey said in a deep voice. He drove as fast as possible to Khurana mansion and went straight to Vardan's room to find Anisha but she wasn't there. He searched the whole house but she was nowhere to be found.
Maan: bhai but aap Anisha bhabhi ko dhoond kyun rahe ho?
Rey: jo drug Pranati ko diya tha hotel mein woh mujhe unke paas mila.
Maan: toh mtlb Vardan bhai ke paas prescription thi?
Rey: haan, per sawal yeh hai ki woh Anisha bhabhi ke haath mein kyun thi.
Maan: bhai ek baar Vardan bhaiya ke room mein check krte hai, shayd kuchh mil jaaye. Waise bhi abhi woh bahar hai.
Rey: Haan chal.
Reyansh and Maan snuck into Vardan's room.
Rey: sab kuchh dhang se dhoondhna hai, saare documents, saari medicines aur woh bhi jaldi. Thhik hai?
Maan: Haan bhai.
They both started searching in all the drawers and dressers but they couldn't find anything helpful. Rey opened the cupboard only to be shocked till his toe. There she was, his Anisha bhabhi hiding inside, it looking like a reck.
Rey:Bhabhi aap yahan kya kr rhi hai? bahar aayiye.
He forwarded his hand so she could grab it. But she denied shaking her head. Rey noticed that she was way too traumatized than a normal person should. He knelt down and forwarded his hand more towards her.
Rey: Bhabhi please bahar aayiye. Main aapki help karoonga.
She denied again.
Rey: bhabhi please, I promise main aapko bilkul hurt nhi karoonga. Please.
She slowly placed her hand in his and he helped her come out. Once she was out, Rey saw wound marks on her face and arms. He was really petrified seeing those. He never saw her in this condition. He used to admire her as she was the only person in his house who wasn't an animal and was still alive.
Rey: Bhabhi y-yeh sab k-kisne kiya?
He already knew the answer but wasn't ready to listen to it. Anisha was still silent. He could see her shivering from fear.
Rey: it's okay bhabhi main hoon yahan, aap tension mt lo. Araam se btao.
Anisha: w-woh tumne woh da-dawai mere haath mein dekh li thi uska pta Vardan ko chal gaya. A-aur bas unhe th-thoda gussa aa gaya.
Rey placed his hand on his head as couldn't believe that Pranati was right. Actually he couldn't believe that he ever doubted her. But the worst part of this whole scenario was that the two ladies that he knew and admired was victim of his own brother.
Rey: Bhabhi yeh sab kabse ho raha hai? Aur aapne kisi ko kuchh btaya kyun nhi?
Anisha: Vardan ko pta chalta toh woh mujhe zinda nhi chhodte Reyansh. (She started sobbing a bit)
Rey: Bhabhi pehle aap yahan baithiye. ( He made her sit down on the bed and turned towards Maan) Maan jaake first aid box laa.
Maan nodded and ran outside to grab the first aid kit.
Rey: bhabhi kya main aapse kuchh poochh sakta hoon?
Rey asked as he had to make sure that she was okay now. Anisha nodded to his statement.
Rey: woh medicines aapko kaise milli?
Anisha: kyunki Vardan mujhe roz maarte the, main thodi depression mein rehne lagi. Ghar mein kisi ko pta na chale isiliye Vardan mujhe doctor ke paas leke gaye aur doctor ne mujhe unke kehne per sabse strong medicine prescribe kri. Kuchh hafton baad Vardan ko pta chala ki isse memory loss bhi hota hai toh unhone....
She couldn't continue further but Reyansh understood the rest of it.
Rey:Kya pranati ke alava bhi...?
Anisha just nodded her head which made his eyes watery. Maan came in with the first aid kit.
Maan: bhai yeh...
Rey: Maan sun, bhabhi ko mere room mein le ja aur jahan chot lagi hai wahan dawai laga dio. (He turned towards Anisha) Bhabhi aap mere room mein safe rahengi. Kuchh bhi kaam ho aap Maan se keh dena. Aur ab aapko darne ki koi zaroorat nhi hai. Main aapke saath hoon.
Anisha wiped a few tears that fell down her eyes and walked out with Maan. Maan did what Rey instructed and gave company to Anisha while Rey was just sulking.
Rey(to himself): I'm sorry Prani, I'm so sorry. Tera saath itna sab ho gaya aur main tujh per hi.... Pagal hoon main pagal, zara si akal nhi h mujhmein. Arre mujhse achha toh woh Archit hai. Usne tujhe sahara diya, teri itni madad kari aur main yahan.... Per aur nhi, main Vardan bhaiya ko chhodunga nhi. Tere uper jitne ilzaam lage hain un sabko mita dunga...
He felt his phone vibrating. He took out his phone from the pocket and saw the caller ID of Archit. He quickly picked it up.
Archit: Reyansh, Pranati kahin nhi mil rhi, woh tumhare ghar aayi hai kya?
