Deeps, my Dad passed away 2 years ago during peak Covid, not because of Covid but terminal cancer. Since then I have been visiting every year to spend some exclusive time with my mom. I don’t bring my kids, they are back home and my husband takes really good care of them and both are old enough to do most of the things themselves. My husband does the same thing every year, has been doing for the past 12 years, takes off and comes down to spend exclusive time with them. This is the best we can do in our current situation, some years kids want to come too, that year my husband and I will combine our trips and all 4 of us travel to India. We did that in 2019 with the kids and we will be doing that next year again when my sin will be entering college and wants to take blessings from both the grandmothers ❤️
