They don’t always shoot in sequence we see on screen..
keep going back n forth shooting scenes per actors schedules, other variables.
That I realise..maybe haldi sequence is lengthier.. and hence they have shot too many times with that dress on..
But..I dnt get why shiva would wear two dresses on the day of sangeeth..or is it bec ravi was drugged..and its the next day..morning of wedding.. where ravi is still in prev nights clothes.. and shiva was not drunk..so he was already dressed for the morning..thats why he was wearing that red kurtha..

They justified shiva's act in this way
But if haldi, mehendi & sangeet mein kuch bhi nahi hoga, then what's the point in shooting so much?! There will be something that happens which may then culminate on the shaadi day.
