If seeing and ignoring is the called as maturity, then what is called as 'raising voice against injustice'? That is what the actors are doing... You cannot label them wrong as we can label some fandom wrong technically.😉

The sad truth is, they are the victims for most of the times (due to the various unmentioned reasons)

It's not that hard to deduce the ph was trying to do damage control but the major cast getting sick they had to disclose it to the media. But the part of viral one having an illness and coming to set was also dangerous right now ppl are getting severely sick due to non covid flu and its contagious too not to mention covid tests are not 100% accurate and many false positive and negatives can happen especially when one is showing covid like symptoms. But hey you know better as you must be having a inside information about all this as you sound so sure of the infested ones innocence. No one is the victim except for those cast and crew that adhered to the covid protocols and were careful and became infected. We know who they are and its not hard to figure out without bias.

some random creep sents threat to simrans profile and just becz the creep has kdice picture as dp claiming as kdice fan , doesn't have to mean its really a fan who did it..

Anyone can do it..all they need is to keep a dp of kdice and say whatever. So accusing a whole fd is 👎🏼 and foolish...

Let the police investigate. And find who is behind it. Why defame other people?..

Even though if it is a cover-up, one should not use such words and give rape threats to people... Also, it was nowhere proved that she was the one who spread the disease. There are others too who attended party and all.

Covid is a pandemic..its not even about who spread the disease...its spreading everywhere left right center..but its about the attitude of those after getting it and also spreading it to their coworkers..the pun intended attitude..thats what is being covered up...

It is great that they are addressing this publically, but it would have been considerate of her not to drag an entire fandom which includes her currently under the weather co-star and invoke their ire too. We dont know if those fans were actually ShiVi/KDice fans at all, why would you put the actors into the mess?

Also very happy that multiple members of the cast even took up the responsibility and mentioned to the fandoms not to get into such abusive stances over fictional characters and took accountability for the genuine ShiVi/KDice fans who have always been a source of strength, not hate. Hopefully police investigates and this matter is closed aptly instead of the petty blame game that it has now been turned into, which will affect the entire cast on-set. Hope everyone gets well soon and everything is sorted.

I absolutely beleive that all those death & rape threats are shameful but just because one person claiming herself to be a shivi fan, no one can accuse the whole Shivi fandom. It's absolutely wrong to say that shivi fans are toxic or anything just because of one person. You must see how many shivi fandoms post edits for other actors as well.

Very good on calling out cyber bullying

I hope simran cathes this person and exposes his/her face to the world !!

But very immature to instigate fans , indirectly blaming the co actors for the these messages

Very boldly writing SHIVI FANS to get I don't know what!

You think alice and kanwar don't get hate messages.

We common people get dms everyday on social media by all sorts of creeps

A fan page whose admin is shinys friend ( said by shiny herself) said things like not to give cake to kdice sent by her 🤣

Someone once said alice is friends with benefits with kanwar

There is a way to deal with such things and kdice do it in a better way atleast in public

Same can't be said for these people

And jo chaahe kaho they very irresponsibly went to a crowded place a very very crowded place , came with the virus didn't get themselves tested before joining the sets , came to shoot despite the symptoms and put all the cast and crews life at risk!!! Then acted all high and mighty by posting ridiculous jokes on covid and expected everyone to laugh at it .

What wrong did kanwar and Alice did if they in their messages told everyone to act responsibly ( you should have been doing this instead some lied , some acted woke and cool and some posted pathetic reels about it ) , Alice has tested positive because these people's irresponsibility and then you took it on your tiny ego and started taking digs and made tbe whole atmosphere so negative !!!

So some self realisation would not do you harm !!

Raising voice against justice involves reporting and blocking such a person, which is what the guidelines of any social media platform would be, I believe.

In fact, you posting something here, the Insta post of the actress, which contains abusive words, is itself against IF rules. I'm aware of this, yet choose to see and ignore it. Does that make me mature, or someone incapable of raising a voice for what is right?

PS I have no issue with you wanting to discuss this, just putting a point across. Peace.

My two cents on the matter (not that anyone cares):

This whole situation is fcked up and what's even more wrong is people trying to lay all the blame on one singular person/event when that's not the case.

Here is a list of the guilty parties and the reason for why I think so:

  1. Partying during a Pandemic. This isn't related to just the Goa party. It is for every event and congregation that takes place in a crowd. If the actors are meeting their friends in outdoor locations in large groups, then they are all putting each other at risk. Contrary to what most people wish, COVID is still out there and it is still dangerous. People know there is a new variant Omicron out there that is touted as being even deadlier than the last one. Given this information, the wise thing would be to limit your movements, and increase your precautions. I can understand the need to celebrate friends' and families' birthdays, wanting a break from hectic schedules, but unfortunately we haven't reached the time and age where we can do all this freely. Maximum consideration of your community must be taken.
  2. Rape and death threats. To not believe Simran's words about getting rape and death threats from people will be an act of victim blaming which I'm not going to take part in. If a non-celebratory woman can get these kinds of mesaage from creeps, then it's not too far to imagine Simran could as well. It's a disgusting part of women's lives, but it's unfortunately there. For some reason, men AND women alike find it absolutely okay to send celebrities profane messages. The assumption that just because they are a celebrity and should be able to ignore these messages is wrong. Why should the onus be on the celebrity to ignore them, and not on the person who messaged them? Why shouldn't they be called out and taught a lesson? Just because they're a child? Being a child doesn't exempt them from being an asahole. If they have the guts to right up vile and crude messages, then they better have the balls to face the consequences for their actions as well. As women, we should NOT be ignoring acts of abuse and harassment, REGARDLESS of where it comes from. Action MUST be taken so that people can get the hint that you are a person who will not be messed with so easily.
  3. Taking action. To combat these issues, there are several things a person can do. Tell them to stop, block them, report them to the social media authorities, or even file a complaint to the police if it gets really out of hand. What should not be done is doxxing the individual onto the Internet, especially if you are a person with a massive following. Doing so would be taking undue advantage of your power and influence and setting up events that could potentially get out of control. By default, celebrities like to assume that all their fans are good people, but the truth is that some of them might not be. They can be wicked and cruel or they may take their overprotective "love" too far and inflict real damage on the abuser. This in turn will create ramifications for all parties, the initial abuser, the celebrity for inciting the violence, and the fan who misinterpreted the celebrity's words and acted in a harsh manner.
  4. Assumptions. The worse thing to happen on the Internet is making assumptions. Crude messages were sent that is a fact. The messages were sent by a Shivi fan is an assumption that was made solely based on the DP that was used. Now, it could actually be a ShiVi fan who doesn't like Simran, it could be a fan from another group trying to defame the ShiVi fandom, or it could be a third neutral person who just wanted to stir shit up. As a person with a massive following, Simran should have done the due diligence of simply laying the blame on this one individual who was harassing her rather than a whole fandom. By not doing so, she has created a certain image of the fandom to the public which in return is going to reflect back on Kanwar and Alice (it's not fair, but it's just how it is). If she has been getting enough of these messages, all from people who use ShiVi or KDice as their DPs, it is easy for her to believe that the whole fandom doesn't like her. In this case, her assumption wouldn't be wrong. No celebrity has the time to sit down and stalk their abusers so that they can determine what fandom they are from. These fanpages can be manufactured to look like they belong to a particular fan group quite easily. What she could have done, is forwarded the messages to Cyber Security in India and let them deal with the matter themselves. As for herself, she could have addressed the issue in public (without doxxing any personal information), and encouraged the public not to take this kind of bullshit from ANYONE. NO ONE deserves to get death or rape threats.

And yeah, that's about it I suppose from my side. KDice did their part in asking fans to stop sending these messages to their co-actors but it's really an act of formality. Their request isn't going to hold power over anyone. Those who want to be abusive and talk shit, will continue to do so.

Wishing the entire cast and crew of Pandya Store an abundance of health and peace as they get through these difficult and trying times.
