I so wished to have a scene where they converse in depth about their issues.
I wanted to see him confess about his pains and genuinely apologise for his mistakes, for his words.
I wanted her to confess about her own dreams and apologise for her silence n words.
I wanted them to start afresh without MUs. I wanted some semblance of respect between both.
But I guess the expectations were too high. Here nothing is going smoothly. They r not dealing with it properly...
Unfortunately, Shiva and Raavi having a genuine conversation has become a bit of a joke to me.... they had so many opportunities to speak...
1) First Night She Came Home : Shiva could've forced her to stay in the room, lock the door, and ask why she came back if she was so ready to leave in the first place, and this couldn't caused her to become angry enough to open up herself. They could've started with a screaming match that then because them speaking to each other with pure exhaustion.
2) Post School Scene : Raavi could've inquired about Shiva's dreams of becoming an engineer and his school life post him having to give up his education. Forget asking Shiva... if she really cared, she would've pulled aside Rakhi and asked herself to understand the man she married a little bit more (This is what concerns me... Raavi is shocked at Shiva marrying another woman... but she makes no attempt to figure out Shiva... she's in a way trapping him in a suffocating marriage by wanting him punished, but not wanting to fall in love with him)
3) Post Haldi Scene : Shiva could've wiped away the haldi and muttered a simple apology (a little like Raavi's chota sa cute apology during the NDE)
4) Milk + Moon Scene : They just stood there the entire night? Both of them didn't want it to end, and instead of talking to each other on their last night as "husband and wife" they just stared at the moon?!?! Are they not curious about each other in the slightest? My last day in college, my best friend and I talked until sleep took us over at 3am... we didn't know when we'd meet each other again, and so we wanted to make the most out of every second... but not Shiva and Raavi apparently....
