According to the show, her sacrifice is not having children of her own till the boys grew up, even though she probably wanted to
She could have waited a few years if she really wanted, but I don't get why she waited for 10 years, and is still waiting
Tch.
Who would, in the sane mind, want to have a baby when they are so deep in problems?! That was the most practical and wise choice Dhara ever made on the show. Bringing a newborn at that time would have been a disaster considering Suman's health issues, her three brothers-in-law being kids themselves, the store issue, and ofc the financial crisis.
This is not a sacrifice! It was the best choice, a wise decision, and definitely not a sacrifice.
Hey guys! Sorry, long day with work with no end in sight, and early morning meetings tomorrow. If someone can provide an update, it would be great!
Thanks!

But to every brother it was a sacrifice, because she had to face taunts from all around that she doesn't have her own child 🙄🙄

I think Suman made an unmistakable message today. You only Get what You are Destined to!
This statement was directed at Dev, for whom I feel pity. He married for love, but he doesn't even have an ounce of courage to make things right.
He lost someone like Raavi, who would show all the love possible, but it stands true. You get what you deserve!
Raavi deserved someone as courageous as Shiva, her night in shining armour behind whose biceps she can hide safely and stylishly. Shiva is a perfect foil to her fairly bird-brained IQ despite being the one who didn't go to college.
I actually do not feel any sort of pity towards Dev... perhaps I would had he been more transparent with the situation... but when he was clearly going to marry another girl, despite not loving her, I lost a little bit of respect for him. When he left the said girl at the altar without a single apology or care for her near suicide attempt (while his brother, a man that hated the girl, went to save her) I lost all respect for him. And since then, he hasn't done anything really to win back my respect.
He's a decent brother, but he is the type of man I would avoid and would tell other girls to avoid. He doesn't know how to protect his wife, stand up for his wife, or even care for his wife. I don't feel pity at all. He sought love and married someone he didn't even truly get to know. Every time Rishita complained about him talking about his bhabi, he never sought to the root cause... if he did, he would've understood just how imperfect Rishita was for his family... so I have no sympathy whatsoever

I agree. It's not what dhara thought though. She wanted a baby but didn't have it for her husband's family's sake. So it became a sacrifice
Yup! Because this is the EDT, I didn't elaborate more than that.. that discussion is for another thread 🤣
