Because MediaLogic is a paid company that provides TRP data to its customers, such as ARY, Hum, etc. Even its customers can't publish full data on their social media pages. And that's why PDP Instagram account doesn't post exact data of media logic but tweaks the data and then posts; if it posts exact data, it might face legal action from media logic for stealing its data.

pdptrp gets the data from medialogic. they don't tweak it.

I think to avoid legal trouble, PDP doesn't name the source, even though we know the source is Medialogic. And due to this, it does a slight change in the TRP rating provided by media logic. I know you'll say that TRP posted by PDP is TRP with ads. But MediaLogic doesn't give dual TRPs like this. Below is the September 2022 monthly report of media logic, and there is no such thing as TRP without ads and TRP with ads.

Also this report has TRPs of some top dramas and their total viewers, which shows that if a drama gets 10 TRP then it would mean that its viewership is around half i.e. around 5 Million

Episode 17 didn't had a masala unlike the following episode

Jurm’s TRP for 4 weeks was 6.7, 4.2,4.8 & 5.3. It was a mystery thriller not like MJ that was promoted as a story involving halala. I don’t think these are blockbuster numbers as it was made to seem earlier. Its views aren’t that great either considering it aired one year & 4 months back.

MJ’s views are already 6.8M for first episode & 4M for second episode & it’s only one month old show. The views keep increasing with time.

May be MJ is not doing well as per standards but this show wasn’t a blockbuster either considering it aired when TB was at its peak popularity. It gained its highest rating during this phase only.

oh yeah i watched Jurm where everyone's favourite Thespian Wahaj was average AF, Durre was way better than him and i said it back then when it aired.. any male actor could have played that character..

and it was as commercial as they get.. and had more holes in the plot than a swiss cheese...

When JUrm was on air, there was a Pakistan cricket series going on and TRPs were low across the board. In w1, Jurm was #5 in weekly chart in first week and #7 in weekly chart in second week.

I am not claiming it's a hit but giving context of TRP #s of Jurm vs MJ.

For instance, low TRPof ARY shows in Ramadan cannot be compared with TRP of same or other ARY shows out of Ramadan coz the context is different.

Same when cricket series are going like PSL, World Cup or major ODI series.You can see both TB and IM TRPs when there was a PSL match vs when there wasn't any.

These are just facts we all know when interpreting TRP.
