Don’t trust Nadia. She has no understanding about the nuances of acting. She judges & rates as per the character arc.

I’m surprised with Atiqa’s review though. This is how an actor’s flaws get highlighted when script stops making sense. Zarnab stopped making sense & Yumna’s acting gets criticised because as per Atiqa she could’ve added so much to it as she is an experienced actor. She should have fought for the character.

There are few actors who gets away with bad acting. For instance , there's this person with average acting skills who's hailed for the styling. I wish styling ke sath sath thoda acting pe bhi dhyan hota tho accha hota.I have always found that person to be the weakest link of the shows despite looking like a bomb. Be it Humayun's trp hit show where every other actors overshadowed that person or be it the latest one Mein. I was traumatized with the performance of first two episodes n didn't have the will to continue post that!!

Ayeza herself mentioned she had sore throat every day during the shooting of Mein. Wonder how that wasn’t her cue to stop

Too much man. I get that MJ was a villain role but thora tone down kerna chahiye tha. It pushed so much of the audience away unfortunately

Regarding MJ, strictly speaking it's not any mind-blowing script as people wanna portray it. It's pretty much predictable what's gonna happen. But m finding it alright because of few actors. The main problem is lighting, they shouldn't have made it so gloomy n dark .

Kashif Nisar’s shows ki art direction has always been old school magar yeh kuch zyada hi peeche chalay gaye hain. Also for the concept of Halala they’ve presented, it doesn’t seem well researched. They’re barely scratching the surface of it and isn’t awareness based as I thought it would be. Just seems like a premise for the love story to happen eventually.

A popular actor or drama with good OST is not a guarantee to be hit...see PKS had Bilal and the OST was good, but the other lead's acting was so bad, that made the whole drama flop. Critically also no one could understand why the woman is behaving this way.

And you know Farooq Rind, he throws so much light on people's face and shoots close up. They should have enhanced the lead actress's look with a wig and some better makeup. When everyone even in the supporting cast looks so dapper, that was just such an unfortunate choice in casting

But today a drama with Popupar ML & FL actors with very good OST on Hum Sunday slot is a guaranteed hit. When Yumna's drama PKS was getting 2-3 TRPs on Hum, her drama on Geo Raaz e Ulfat was getting 10+ TRPs. Although PKS didn't perform well on TV, just like most other Hum dramas in 2020, it did quite well on YouTube.

Yeah I checked and edited my post. Last episode the views are obviously higher, but if you check, the rest are 10M even after 4 years. So its only hyped by a few.

Why does Thursday/Sunday slot matter? TB aired on a Thursday slot and was a BB.

You mentioned about good OST/actors are enough to make a drama hit. I am just pointing out thats not the case. In some case, like in PKS due to OTT acting by the lead actress, the show flopped bad. It's written by Zanjabeel and directed by Rind. So, the team was solid.

And as you can see in the poster you linked, it has four really good looking actors, and that unfortunately makes other one stand out negatively. Really should have styled better and taken a wig that covers the forehead
