Nahin, it was written from Faraah's POV from the very beginning. But he mentions it to Faraah in the last convo. They did keep it same but they did cut out some dialogues of Wali.. he talked for some 6+ pages in the novel. He said that Suhaib was showing Faraah's picture to Arjumand and he heard S saying, 'Faraah mere Wali ki dulhan banay gi.' 'I used to go to AJ's room and look at your picture from childhood.. I was possessive about you. When I heard dad say it all.. I was 14. I was about to have an affair with my classmate during that time but didn't cuz I knew that I would have to marry you one day.' 😆
