Maybe Imroz is marrying her to take revenge?
He might have some connection to one of her parents

^^ I've seen the pre-cap of the serial... Imroz overhears Shams yelling at Rumi for "getting the two married inspite of loving her" (shams was under that impression na) Imroz even looks very surprised and sly while overhearing.. I think, later Imroz gets really suspicious, angry and maybe he harbours some other negative feelings and leaves her... just a guess :)
EDIT : I'm sorry if I couldnt interpret the exact words, but I'm sure about the overall meaning/essence...I always rewind and watch to catch Urdu words especially when dialogues are delivered fast. 😆

Well thats what we are saying, that if his reason for leaving her has anything to do with Rumi then it would be stupid and ruin the story.

I didnt like todays episode that much...maybe because uzma was missing...she carries the show...anyways...there has to be more to sanam saeed's role...seems like imroz is about to die, but why is he doubting rumi...so silly...anyways, i hope there is more to the story than just shuk.
and standing ovation for Mazhar Ali...never liked him when he used to play the lead, but as a old guy he is awesome.

This episode was full of action. So much happened, especially what i was waiting for Shams finally realize, the last scene when he imagines Sara and a baby and then in the precap where he sleeps on his mothers bed like a kid was adorable.
Imroz is still a mystery to me, and now he is all weird about Rumi and Payaman and seems sick too.
I really like Haider he had some really nice answers to Shams' questions. A very nice episode in all! loved it!

^^ no...not yet, he is even shown in episode 9..
Liked today's episode as usual.. Only Maa ji was missing. Loved scenes between Shams and Haider and Haider's maturity as a man is so very touching, what a loving and lovable character, his dialogues very very good (Mei namukammal ho kar bhi mukammal hun aur tum mukammal hotay huay bhi namukammal ho!) ..Brilliant character the serial has produced.. one could learn a loott from Haider.. i wish i get a husband like that :P or could be a person like him. A very beautiful character ever seen on TV, he is a farishta indeed... ❤️
What's wrong with Imroz's health? Bleeding nose, red rashes on his chest...? And today's episode showed that a psychiatrist is AFTERALL a human. But sad, sad how his interaction with his own patient aggravates his insecurities and doubts... and lovely acting by Imroz...the nuances of his expressions while hearing out his patient. This serial shows psychology well... Great serial, but, if only it was a bit more happy, and wasn't so emotionally draining :( ...but cant help but love it ❤️

So Shams finally coming to terms with his Father's reality & acknowledging his flawed character. This was absolutely paramount as it was coming in the way of his relationship with his wife and his personal life, like the 'no children' rule, it all stemmed from there. It also showed how important a sound emotional state of mind & impassioned conduciveness is, for the well being of a human. You could reckon yourself to be something big physically/financially but if you lack the emotional stability EVERYTHING else crumbles like a sack of spuds.

Haider's conversation with Shams after having the meet with one of his Father's 'conquests' raised very interesting points regarding our behavioural patterns. He also said a very pertinent thing about how one shouldnt come in the way and tender a verdict/sentence about someone's sin, it's very deep and thought provoking hinging on the spiritual/religious realm which can't be understoood/accepted so easily. This drama has already shown many layers so far. Especially when one expands upon the points/hints/clues and underlying subtleties involved. Hope to see more of Haider as well the man is a fine actor when required.

Mohib is playing his character well, he's not seceding an inch in terms of his character portrayal.

Yes Haider is an interesting character it shows a man being sacrificial for someone [in this case he doesn't quite know why] but he feels it is for the right reasons. He's also submissive to an extent something not normally associated with guys usually it's the women who are portrayed as submissive towards their husbands blending into their ways [which is true of many women, many are hardwired like that, it's not a drawback but an asset I feel, provided the man doesn't take advantage of it] So it's a welcome change to see a role reversal.

@red --- exactly. :) That's what required is in relationships.. be it the guy or the girl. One has to stop, see the fellow human being, and when he can do that, he can be able to see what he/she's going through... they give in, become submissive. But more than that, it is love...in love we automatically surrender I guess. I agree how submissiveness is associated with woman, but anybody in love would become like that.
@bold --- I think he just says so, it's his love. I think he can see through the turmoil his wife, the children(Shams) are undergoing. Leaving them, getting angry at them, ignoring them, crossing them, would only make them feel more miserable, despite their temperament that can be so hurtful sometimes, but he understands, is so patient, worries for them where he could've easily left them all ...and he probably feels that they need love, everybody needs someone to love, no matter how complex or volatile they are...and thus he's submissive. He's actually a powerful character.
Kind of like, Haider's behaviour(with his wife especially) reminds me of Kahlil Gibran's quote "Listen to a woman when she looks at you, not when she talks to you".
Serials should be like this. By the end of an episode.. one must feel not only entertained, but touched, feel that they've learnt something valuable that'll make them a better person. Beautifully written story... Bless the writer, director, actors.
