Hmmm It may not provoke a full on assault but it can certainly titillate the male mind, It differs from person to person, it depends on the individual entirely

girl are you serious? Allah has made men and women to compliment each other not to compete with each other. Pardon me for corrupting some innocent minds here but I think I need to give an explicit example. A man and woman get married, Islamically, non-islamically IN EVERY SINGLE CULTURE the lady dresses up for the man in something call lingerie. Men usually are not asked to adorn themselves with lingerie because NATURE has already decided that men wearing earings, necklaces, lingere, doesn't usually turn the female species ON whereas it's a different case the other way around. So yes, to answer your topic questions, less cloths do turn on the male species. Now there is a vast majority of males around the world that are therki (I hope u know what that means) and they will get turned on by the mere presence of a female around them. So you do what you are told to do. Women are supposed to conceal their aura and men are supposed to lower their gaze. Each individual is answerable to Allah for their own deeds.

And to answer your above question, why men are not asked to cover their head, the answer is their zulfain are not part of men's aura but for women it is part of their aura. Please don't ask me to translate aura for you. Secondly, in Islam, there is a dress code for men as well which people tend to completely ignore. They are also supposed to wear loose, modest clothing. The shirts where their muscles are popping out of the baby gap t-shirts are not allowed. So yes, they have restrictions too but different restriction since they are created differently. God knows what he created and HE very well knows what is BEST for his creations. He has given us the guidelines which are good for our own selves. These restrictions don't benefit Allah swt but they benefit us. As a Muslim, if one doesn't understand wisdom behind certain guidelines, the least we should do is to understand one thing that Allah swt CANNOT be wrong and it is our limited understanding because of which I am not able to grasp the wisdom a certain rule. If you sincerely want to know the answer to your questions, don't look for them in forums where you will find answers which supposedly sound cool, look for your answers in Quran and hadith.

I agree in principle with mahirakhan9 but it's crap in desi land .. U can wear a frigging burka and still be teased! And I think that's what nikkie is driving at.. Y d hell shd women follow all d rules and make all the compromises?

@topic .. I was furious when zaroon said that... But than that's d thinking of 99% of men and probably 98.9% women .. It's not that they r trying to be assholes.. Somewhere that's d way r society has shaped itself up .. Go to any shop in a good neighborhood and shopkeepers and shoppers r more likely to stare at the tight jeans girl thn the shalwar kameez one :x assholes :@

@Hmmm. If finding answers was as simple as following d Quran and Hadith (and obviously Sunnah) then there wouldn't be any sects or sub sects etc

But true abt d rules for men .. They do have guidelines to follow as well but they mostly ignore them and try to force us to follow ours 🤢

Generally speaking I don't understand y this topic has turned into what Islam says .. Most of us already know the rules and the rights etc .. This topic has nothing to do with religion .. It's social ills not religious issues that are at work when zaroon says what he said

Both men and women have to cover their Satr. For women it's covering their head and their body whereas for men their satr is from their navel uptil their knees.

And may I please say something. We've been told not to discuss religion in such topics so many times since it creates a huge issue so can we just refrain from doing so.. I think it'll help from creating a fight.
